Tension in the air and what is Evianna planing?

RECAP:

‘These are her parents?’ I asked Lucy and she looked at me sadly.

‘Those were our first adoptive parents.’ She said looking at the graves sadly.

‘First?’ I asked.

‘Her real parents can’t walk on earth. That was the deal heaven and hell made to allow her real parents to be together and have an actual family.’ She said moving leaves away from the grave stone.

‘Does she know?’ I asked and she shook her head sadly.

‘No, she has to find our brothers first, sorta speak.’ She said nonchalant.

‘No more questions please. There’s a empty cottage out in the woods just over that hill for you guys to stay the night.’ She said and began to walk another way.

‘You not coming?’ I asked her and she turned around and smiled.

‘No, I have to see the others first but don’t worry you’ll see me again.’ She said smiling and with a flash of light she was gone.

‘Nico,’ Leah whispered and I held her tighter.

‘It’s okay I’m right here, I’m not leaving you.’ I said and walked in the direction of the little cottage.

Chapter 20

Tension in the air and what is Evianna planing?

Zack’s POV

I stayed behind the pillar and sighed. My father has been calling meetings about the angel almost everyday and it’s really getting annoying. I watched the God’s and Goddesses enter the room and I watched them all take their seat before standing back up when my father entered the room. My father took his seat followed by the rest of the Gods.

(script mode!!!!!!)

Zeus: ‘She has been found.’ The room got loud before my father slammed his fist on the table.

Ares: Where is she?

Aphrodite: What does she look like?

Hera: How did you find her?

Zeus: ‘SILENCE!’ the room instantly went silent and I sat down on the floor. How did my father find the angel? Is that even possible?

Zeus: Hades had her in his grasp but has lost her. She is with his son Nico di Angelo. As of what she looks like, I am having Hermes look of her human files. My spy that I have down in the Underworld told me and yes I trust him. As of the girl’s name it is Leah Ashwood.’ That snapped me out of my thoughts. Leah? As in the girl who wouldn’t tell me her name? She’s the angel!?

Ares: What are we going to do to get her?’

Zeus: ‘We will each send a son or daughter to go on a mission and capture the angel. Once we have the angel we can either kill her or lock her up.’ I knew better than that though. My father wasn’t going to lock her up, he is going to rape her and make her breed the most powerful children in the world. Now that I know the girl there is no way in hell I’m going to let that happens. She’s freaking my age! How sick is that! On top of that he probably won’t care either.

The door busted open and Hermes came in holding papers.

Hermes: Leah Ashwood. Sixteen years old, here’s the picture you asked of her.

Artemis: I refuse to hunt her down.

Zeus: WHY!

Artemis: She is a maiden and I will not hand her over to the likes of you father. She has done nothing wrong and knowing you, you will probably rape her to breed a new race.

Zeus: Don’t you dare speak to me like that!

Artemis: Very well, I shall take my leave but is there anyone else that agrees with me?

Apollo: I agree with her father, not because she’s my twin but because she has not threatened us and Artemis does make a good point.

Ares: We need to take her before she has a chance to overthrow us! Father I am with you all the way! In fact I will personally bring this demon we call angel to you.

Artemis: Very well.

Athena: Father.

Zeus: No! No more people are allowed to leave. Athena you are going to help find this angel at once! Anyone else leaves and I shall rid them of their powers and you will have to stay on earth for two centuries!

*silence*

Zeus: All of you decide on the best child you have for the job to take down the angel and sent them off after this pest. The angel must die one way or another; it is too risky to have that much amount of power out there. Meeting dismissed!

(Out of script)

Everyone left the room with a hurry and when my father was alone I walked out. My father looked angry and I could hear the sound of thunder in a distance. Poor New Yorkers were going to take a beating from my father with all his rage.

‘Find the angel and personally bring her to me.’ My so called father said to me.

‘Of course’ I said lying through my teeth. There is no way I am going to hand Leah over to him. My father left the room and I sighed. I turned my head and I could lightly make out a figure but I knew who it was.

‘It’s not safe for you, they know where you are you must leave quickly. I will try to help you as best as you can but I won’t be able to do much, now go!’ I whispered yelled to Leah. I had her tuned in while she was sleeping so she could see this as a dream but even if she does know I doubt there is a single safe place for her to hide.

Good Luck Leah, you’re going to need it.

Nico’s POV

We had gotten to the little cottage and I put Leah on the bed as I went to the kitchen. I was starving and was glad to see the refrigerator stocked with food. I made myself a sandwich and started eating it. I stopped chewing and didn’t feel so hungry anymore. All the events that had just happened seemed to catch up with me right there.

Leah’s a freaking angel. My father is going to be pissed that I escaped but I could give a rat’s a$$ at what he thinks. I just traveled through a Shadow Round and her sister Lucy isn’t her real sister and isn’t dead like we thought. Anything else I missed? Oh yeah, I’m in love with an angel that has a jealous twin sister out to kill the only girl that I have ever loved. Did I mention she’s an angel?

Fu<k. I need to chillax. I need to woo sa. I sat on the floor and stared at the floor for a good twenty minutes before hearing a door creak open.

‘Nico?’ I heard Leah whisper and I stood up and rushed to her side. Her eyes were red and puffy indicting she was crying and her hair was damp with sweat. Even with all that, she still looks like the most beautiful thing in the world.

‘What’s wrong?’ I said holding her tight. Dam, am I whipped or what?

‘We need to leave.’ She said looking at my eyes.

‘Why? Right now you need to rest.’  I said and she was looking around. The thunder rumbled with a sickening crack of lightning the lights flickered and Leah dropped to the floor covering her head.

‘No, it’s not safe here. Their looking for me, they know who I am, where I am. We need to leave.’ She said shaking and I bent down and pulled her to me.

‘Who exactly is they?’ I asked looking in her eyes for answers but only to be met with terror in her eyes.

‘The gods.’ She whispered and another sickening crack of thunder followed by a boom. Leah jumped and I held on tighter. How did they find out! My father probably told him. Dam, we’re in bigger crap than I thought.

‘Alright we need to mask your smell.’ I said and checking to make sure I had cash I shadow traveled to the nearest motel. We ended up on the side of the building and it was raining. I carried Leah inside and met a guy half asleep.

‘Hi welcome to the Motel Inn-’ he started and I cut him off.

‘One room two beds, in the smoker’s area please.’ I said and he looked at me like I was on crack. I rolled my eyes and had Leah stand up and she leaned her head on my chest. I put the money on the counter knowing it was a bit more than the actual price.

‘Keep the change.’ I said as he gave me the key card. I grabbed Leah’s hand and led her to the room. It smelled horrible like smoke and I took my shirt off and handed it to Leah. She looked at the shirt and blinked.

‘What?’ she asked still not grabbing my shirt.

‘Cover your nose with this, I don’t want you getting sick,’ I said and aging she just stared at the shirt.

‘What about you?’ She asked and I out the shirt in her hands.

‘I’m more tolerant on smelling the fumes. It’s fine really my nose doesn’t pick up smoke anymore, it’s one of the advantages of having your father god of the underworld.’ I said and she put the shirt over her nose. She sat on one of the beds and thunder rumbled again and she jumped. She sat on the floor in fetal position. I walked to her and pulled her to my arms.

‘It’s okay,’ I said and I felt her shake.

‘No, it’s not. I saw what’s coming for me and it’s not pretty.’ She said shaking.

‘They’re tracking all the girls with my name when it’s said out loud. I need you to call me by my actual name, Kathalina, or call me Kat.’ She said and I nodded in understanding.

‘Well where do we go from here?’ I asked sitting next to her with my back against the bed.

‘I need to see my brothers. They’re the only ones that can help us on what to do. I don’t know anything about what I am but I had a dream that they know and they’re waiting for me.’ she said leaning her head on my shoulder.

I woke up and something was wrong.  You could feel it in the air that something wasn’t right. I looked at Leah and she was still sleeping. I put her down lightly on the bed and got up. I took off my skull ring and it transformed into my Stygian iron sword. I opened the door and the hall was empty.

It was eerily quiet and again you could feel the tension in the air as if the motel was holding its breath. I closed the door and locked it.

‘Nico, what’s going on?’ I heard Leah ask. I looked at her and she held my shirt over her nose. I looked at the window and saw two red eyes.

‘Leah, get up now!’ I shouted and she ran to me. I pushed her behind me and kicked the window down. I got out and Leah followed behind me.

‘Stay here.’ I said before the creature charged at me. The monster knocked me down and I was met with a head of an eagle. Its beak snapped near my head and just missed my face. I punched the eagle’s head and knocked it off of balance. I got up and realized what I was up against. It was the head and wings of a eagle and the body of a lion. It was a freaking griffin! I thought that stuff only happens in harry potter!

I picked up my sword and the griffin lounged towards me. I heard a gunshot and the griffin collapsed in front of me. I took that time to stab its heart and it turned into dust. I looked up and saw a guy about 19 years old putting a gun in his back pocket.

‘Who are you,’ I asked standing up and I looked at the window to see Leah’s head pop out and I tensed.

‘Justin!’ she yelled climbing out the window running to him.

‘Baby girl!’ he yelled and hugged her. I felt my fist clench and I watched her hug him tight. He had skin similar to her, but they didn’t seem related.

‘Nico, this is my brother Justin.’ She said and my fuse went out.

‘Oh.’ I said and Leah walked to me grabbing my hand.

‘Justin, this is Nico, Nico this is Justin.’ She said and I shook his hand. It felt like an awkward moment but whatever.

‘We need to leave now to the safe house.’ He said and I looked at him like he was crazy.

‘How do we do that?’ I asked and he smiled evilly at me.

‘We cross the shadow round so hold onto Leah because it’ll be one hell of a ride.’ He said grabbing Leah’s hand who grabbed my hand. We stepped into a light and it felt like the force was knocking us down. The wind stopped and everything stopped suddenly knocking me down. I heard someone yell my name than everything went black.

Leah’s POV

I have a feeling something’s coming. I looked outside the window to see lots of tress in the distance. I could feel someone calling me and it freaked me out. It didn’t feel right. I looked at Nico and he looked pale. My brother had gone to fast for Nico and he got whiplash. I woke up about an hour ago but Nico still hadn’t woke up.

I opened the window and climbed out to the roof. I let my wings come out and the moon shined on them making feel as if I was on air. The atmosphere tensed suddenly and my wings became stiff. A war is coming, but of what I have no clue.

I held my violin bow and let it change to a sword, it felt light in my hands but it was okay in my opinion. I watched it morph to a long sharp blade and it became a knife. I don’t know when I got it back but I was glad.

I looked up and I felt a strange feeling like I was being watched and not in the good way either. Something big is coming and it is not like any other monster I have seen or probably heard of.

Evianna’s POV

I lied back on the chair and filed my nails. I watch the army of minor gods, monsters, and demi gods come together. I smiled deviously as Hades and Zeus shook hands. All was going according to plan and if it continues like this my darling sister, Kathalina, shall die and I will be let back home since her death can open the portal.

I transported to Camp Half Blood and I hid behind the trees. I smiled watching Ares yell at his children and my smile grew even bigger. Brothers becoming allies, sons going against fathers, it’s only a matter of time before everything falls into perfect place…

Sorry I didn’t upload Sunday or Monday. I have been studying my butt off and I could not post. I’m disappointed I didn’t get to reach my deadline but today is the last day of school and then the rest of the summer I can write! This story is definitely going to be done before sometime this summer but as of now I shall continue to write. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VOTING!!!
