Y/N: AAAAAAAGH! Oh uuuh was I now?

oh yeah, I'm now also staying with this girl. The Scorpion Queen, she's a sweet girl and I now stay at Jin and Yin's place. Sleeping on the couch was... kinda cramped, but it's better than nothing. But if I were to break her heart she might kill me for it, I remember in her story her poison is more deadly than anything and can instant kill you 🤢

Y/N: S-Sorry it's just happening so fast, uh... I still had a lot of questions about all this. Why would someone kill me? Yada yada yada all that stuff that happened for the past few weeks. *sighs*

I know it's hard but you really shouldn't worry, I'm a demon remember? No amount of killers is gonna get past me.

Y/N: hehe, yeah. 

Jeez I got nothing left to talk about. All we've been doing was talking about our hobbies, interests, tasting each others cooking, even though her food is just illusions... Hey what a sec.

Y/N: I almost forgot, how did you turn those scorpions into food like that?

Oh that's just my illusion ability, most demons can disguise themselves.

Y/N: Then is there a way I can try doing that?

Y/N: Me? Impossible? Might I remind you I have the power to attract human females?

 Only human females, but not demons. Obviously you're going through a cultivation.

Y/N: Cultivation? I think I've heard of this before, where they meditate and read to get stronger in taoism or buddha stuff. I forgot what is called.

Yup, that's the one, but if you really wanna learn I know some experts who gone through the same training. In fact, they're back right now.

Just then for the first time I saw the two demons in the flesh.

Jin: We're back!

When she left the room I got a sense of silence and got a full introduction on those two goons.

Jin: Hello newbie, it's us. JIN!

Both: The Gold and Silver Demons, wolululululu...

Wow, nostalgia. I never thought I get a show in person. I couldn't help but laugh. They're too much.

Yin: Sounds like someone enjoyed the show

Jin: We heard from Scorpion Queen that you were a fan of ours, we be happy to get autographs.

Y/N: Uh no thanks 😅. However I do have a request from you guys. Is it possible for me to master illusions?

Jin: Huh? Illusions? Why would a human boy wanna learn that?

Yin: Unless you're...

Y/N: Yeah, I'm in cultivation like you guys, scorpy said I can learn from you two. 

Jin & Yin both have surprised faces to meet a human in cultivation. They turned around having a private chat between two brothers, but not really private when someone is about a feet away from them. I heard them talking about if they should teach me, and I think I heard of a something that involves a scheme. At the end of their discussion they giggled in mischief, I have a bad feeling. 

Jin: Alright, we'll teach ya. But we're gonna need some real life demonstration.

Yin: We're going to need to go outside.

Y/N: Well, we're outside now. You gonna teach me or what?

The two laughed again.

Jin: Of course we will, but there's a catch.

Of course there's a catch.

Y/N: What is it?

Yin: You're gonna have to steal something for us.

Y/N: uh... steal?

Yin: Look at where we are

I looked around to see a restaurant in front of me

I turned slowly back at them and realized their plan.

Y/N: You... You want me to uh.

Jin: That's right, we want you to pretend to be a customer so you can sneak in... and swipe that staff from under his nose. If you can do that, we'll teach you the power of illusion. Like a test.

Yin: Just as long as you don't get caught. Trust me.

Y/N: I CAN'T DO THIS! DO YOU KNOW WHAT HIM AND HIS FRIENDS WILL DO TO ME?!

Jin: Exactly, but since you don't want to-

Y/N: Wait wait stop, I'll do it. *Grumbles*

Those boys, I cannot believe I'm willing to steal something. Except for that one part where I stole a 100 dollar bill once but that's besides the point. How do you steal a magic staff from the Monkie kid if he only get's it out by fighting...💡Demons. hm hm, maybe this isn't so bad. Time for a little payback from those boys. 

I peaked inside the restaurant, only to see a Pig chef yelling at some guy with glasses for being a freeloader. Yikes, to think I would do it in a place like this. I was able to see the Monkie kid moping the floors, he looks down? I felt his pain, even though it's my first time seeing him. Which is strange, I'll worry about that later. Welp, here I go. 

Y/N: HELP MONKIE KID! SOME DEMONS ARE TRYING TO ROB ME!!!

Yin: HUH?!

Jin: WHAT?!

They must've heard me. The kid quickly responded and took out his staff

Monkie kid: Where are they?!

Y/N: Just outside! Please help!

Monkie kid: On it!

He ran outside to beat up Jin & Yin, but before he does i just grabbed him by his left arm where he holds the staff.  And here comes the scary part, and the reason is because back then I wasn't just interested in demonology but I also took some private classes in hypnosis, it was suppose to help people to rest easy. So that will explain why I have a strange feeling when I saw someone sad and down, I have a tendency to hypnotizing people, I've also been doing for people with insomnia. But this is different, instead...

I speak in a calm voice and everything around me is blue clouds, the cold air spread out of no where. MK was only focused on my gem necklace, started glowing on it's own. This felt like real hypnotism, but I was so focused on getting him to drop his weapon. With those simple five words he immediately closed his eyes and fall asleep drooling on the floor. I came back and realized what I was doing, I was freaked out for what I did to him. I looked up to Jin and Yin.

And they just gave me weird looks, without feeling terrified.

Jin: Um... Let's go

Y/N: Yeah...

Then we all ran away leaving the staff alone and out of reach. I wasn't planning on stealing it anyway, I never liked it. 

We ended up hiding in some dark alley. While I took a break to catch my breath Jin and Yin all laughed.

Y/N: What's so funny?

Jin: We did not expect that at all

Yin: You should've told us you can do hypnosis.

Y/N: It was during a program years ago, I wanted to participate in some hypno therapy. It's suppose to help people with their stress and insomnia.

Jin: Ha, well I don't think you need the lesson since you can do that.

Y/N: But also because I failed the test?

Yin: Oh nah you definitely passed, what you did was terrifying. 

Jin: Yeah, did you see the look on his face?!

Then they laughed again. 

Y/N: But I want to learn how to make illusions, I can't just go back empty handed.

Yin: Cultivation is a taoist technique, it's about sharpening your skills. Plus you're self taught so I'm sure you can find a way to make illusions. 

Jin: And looks like you're already skilled with hypnotism. That necklace of yours must be the main source of your powers.

Y/N: The necklace I hold is a zircon, most people in china wear jade necklaces for good luck. But this necklace helps balance the mind, body, and soul. It also absorbs negative energy.

Yin: Then perhaps this is why, jade represents purity. And if Zircons absorbs negative energy it might mean it absorbs so much negativity it starts leaking out. You might be getting powers from your necklace.

Jin: Interesting~😏, You might be more than a demon.

Y/N: Uh wha-?

They all came so close to me, I'm completely surrounded by them.

Yin: Perhaps we should give you our power, you'll have just enough energy to cast illusions. How's that sound brother?

Jin: Sounds fine to me, let us show the true strength of the gold and silver demons.

Next thing I know, I came back home and asked myself "Why didn't they just fight him themselves if they're this powerful?!" As it turns out, they are troublemakers and they like to do it for fun. 

I had fun too.
