Doctor Bliss' Office

I sit next to Colby as we waited for me to be called.
"Mrs.Lopez," said the nurse.
I smile "I still  love the sound of that," I said smiling as Colby intertwined out fingers as we followed the nurse to the exam room.
The nurse hands me a gown and leaves. I change.
We wait for Doctor Bliss.
"Are you sure you don't want to find out today?" asked Colby.
"Positive," I said "I want to wait until the gender reveal party. Besides Ashley and Trinity will kill us both if we found out and ruined the party," I laughed "I personally don't want to die while pregnant."
"Now that I think of it I don't really want to die either," said Colby as he scrunched up his nose like a bunny.
"Good," I said kissing him "We are in agreement neither one of us want to die."
Colby smiles and shakes his head before kissing me "God I love you, "he said "But Babe you are such a dork."
" Dork? "I pouted.
Colby smirks "Babe,-" he said raising an eyebrow.
I begin crying. I don't know why we always called each other dork before and it never hurt my feelings.
"-Why are you crying?" asked Colby pulling me into a hug "I'm sorry for whatever I did!"

Exam Room

Of course Dr. Bliss has to walk in just as Bex is crying her eyes out.
"What happened?!" asks Dr. Bliss.
I shrugged "I'm at a loss Doc. I called her.. "
"A dork, "wailed Bex.
" But Bex we call each other dork all the time, "I said.
" I know, "sniffles Bex "I don't know what is wrong with me."
" I do, "smiled Dr. Bliss.
" What? "we both ask.
" Hormones, "said Dr. Bliss.
" Ugh, "said Bex "You mean I am going to be crying at cat food commercials?!"
" Maybe, "said Dr. Bliss "But that is perfectly normal Rebecca.You have two little lives growing in you. Come on hop up here and we will see how the babies are doing today."
Bex with my help got up on the exam table.
"Ok," said Dr. Bliss squirting the gel onto Bex's stomach"Are you going to find out the sexes today. "
"No!" we both said a little louder than we intend making Dr. Bliss jump slightly.
"No," said Bex "Please put that in a envelope. We promised my two best friends they would be the only two that would know until our gender reveal party.If we found out they'd kill me!"
" Ok, "laughed Dr. Bliss " No Mama's are going to get killed by their best friends. "
We all laughed as Dr. Bliss looks at the screen.
"Colby look at them!!!"

Exam Room

My eyes filled with tears and they spilled over. I looked at Colby and he was crying too.
"They are beautiful aren't they?!"
I nodded and kissed him "Look what we made Hun," I said.
"I know," said Colby.
"Welp," said Dr. Bliss "I know what they are but I am not going to tell you," she writes something on a piece of paper and slipped the paper into an envelope "Here you go Rebecca this is for your besties eyes only."
" These are the sexes?! "I ask.
Dr. Bliss nods "Sure is. Okay we are done make an appointment for next month. "
I nod "Ok," I said as Dr.Bliss handed Colby the sonogram pictures.
"Wow," said Colby staring at the pictures as I got dressed "I can't believe we made these."
" Well believe it, "I said rubbing a hand over my baby bump.
Colby took my face in his hands and kissed me.
" I love you Mrs. Lopez, "he said smiling.
" Mmm, "I said kissing him back "I love you too Mr. Lopez."
" Let's go make next months appointment, "said Colby taking my hand into his.

After the appointment Bex goes to work and hands Trinity the envelope. Trinity smiles and runs straight to Ashley. They couldn't wait to find out what their bestie was having! Was it two girls?Two boys? Or a matched set One Boy and One Girl? Well like Bex and Colby we have to wait for that answer .
