Maniks POV

"I love you" Nandini gushes sitting along with me in the college canteen.

" I love you too" I reply while playing on my phone.

"I was not talking to you" she says making me look at her.

"Huh?" I raise my eyes.

"I was talking to my love,ice cream" she says making me groan in exasperation.

"Sorry, I forgot unromantic my boyfriend is" I say making her to gape.

"I am not unromantic" she whines.
"Oh really? Tell me the last time we had a breathtaking kiss" I ask.

"It's not that I am unromantic. I'm just not in the mood to be breathless when I rather could live by inhaling and exhaling. Also, I don't want to exchange saliva right at the moment (A/N: *gag*😤😷) I am sorry, that's the truth" Nandini says finishing her ice cream.

This girl is impossible!

"Well,miss Nandini Moorty. The truth is unromantic. Anyways, I have to live with an unromantic girl for my whole life." I say making her glare at me.

"Don't you dare call me Unromantic Mr.Manik Malhotra" she warns pointing her spoon.

I chuckle sarcastically.

Suddenly she does the unexpected.

She presses her lips against mine.

Did I mention that we are in the canteen.
With people in it. Hundreds of people..

I stay shocked at her action and she pulls away.

"Bye manik. I have class" she says running out.

She turns around and winks at me.
As soon as she exits I feel a lot of stares on me. I look around to see everyone gaping at me. I awkwardly stand up and drag myself outside the canteen.

Suddenly Fab four pulls me into the canteen.

"Where are you going? Why is everyone staring at you as if they saw you and Nandini making out" Cabir asks making my eyes widen.

He stares at me for half a minute and his eyes widen.

"She really did that" he asks with a priceless expression.
I nod my head making them burst out laughing.

Mukti and Alya rests their head on the table and starts laughing.

"It isn't that funny" I say making them silent.

After a moment of silence, they again burst out laughing.
I angrily walk out of the canteen but they come running behind me.

"Sorry Manik" they run behind me and I stop in my tracks.

"What guys"? I ask keeping aside my anger

"We were just joking Manik"Alya says and the catch up with me.

"I know. Nandini is getting bold day by day" I say and everyone laughs.

Suddenly my phone rings and I pick up the call.
"Hello" I receive the phone.
"Am I speaking to Mr. Manik Malhotra" the person on the other side asks

"Yes! Who is this?"

"Sir, this is me sharma, the broker. I wanted to inform that the house you had signed contract for is ready. You can move in, whenever you need" he informs.

I thank him and hang up the call.

"Guys, you know the new house I am moving into. I guess I have to show this house to Nandini. It's free. I' all go call her from the class" I inform and they agree as they has already seen the house.

I walk towards Nandini's class. Suddenly I hear the class strumming with music. I enter to see a few buys tapping the desk and creating a cool beat.

I scan my eyes trying spot Nandini but navya rushes towards me and says "manik,please control this girl"

I look towards the class to see everyone's eyes on Nandini.

Nandini was dancing. Standing on top of the desk.

"How do you handle this girl" ? Navya asks and I hit my head with my hands.
She was still dancing and suddenly she notices me.
"Manik! What are you doing here"? She asks still dancing.
"Get down here you crazy woman" I call out.

She doesn't stop dancing but says " manik please!! This will be over now"

I glare at the boys who were tapping the desk and Nandini stops.

"Manik..!!!!!" Nandini whines.

"Get down Nandu" I say and she pouts.

"No! What are you doing in a junior's class room"? She asks with a stubborn expression.
"Nandini come down dude" Navya pleads.
"No!!" She chides.

Navya's POV

"Nandu,this is my last warning" Manik warns.

Everyone in the class was enjoying the show. It isn't all day that these puny girls get to admire 'The Manik Malhotra'.
The boys were obviously crushing over Nandini.

"No!No!No" Nandini keeps ranting.
Maniks pulls her down and carries her on his shoulder.

Her surprise turns into giggles.
As soon as the exit the class, the professor enters with a clueless expression.

" Nandini Moorty is so punctual. She comes long before the class starts.
She also leaves long before the class. What is happening to this college? " the professor asks.

Well manan is happening!

Nandini's POV

"Manik,leave me" I say faking anger.

He lets me down and I glare at him.

"Nandini, please use your brain on a daily basis. Not once in a month" he taunts and I glare at him again.

"I am not talking to you" I say.

"Why"? Manik asks dumbly.
"Are you dumb or are you asking such a stupid question to annoy me"? I ask and he fakes a smile.

"Obviously to annoy you. By the way, shouldn't I be angry on you" he asks making me confused.

"Why is that"?I question.

" You kissed me in front of the whole canteen and left me alone with those people. You are angry at me when I should be. It's not fair" he complains.

"Stop complaining and let's make deal. None of us will be angry, okay?" She says and I agree.

"One thing Manik. Never come to my class again" I say making him taken aback.

"Why"? He asks looking offended.

"All those stupid girls are waiting for a chance to drool at you. Before you ask...yes I am jealous. I have the right to be jealous" I say taking away his chance to tease me.

He smiles and says " we have to go".
"Where"? I ask looking excited.

"You know that I am moving out. The house which I rented is ready. So we can go see it." Manik informs and we exit the college.

After five minutes..

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else" I sing or let me say scream.

I wanted to irritate Manik. He hates this song and I love it because he hates it. Heheh.

I keep screaming out the song.
"Nandini that!!!Stop it" Manik says looking vexed.

"Okay..okay fine" I say while giggling as I see his annoyed face.

"you are so cute" I say pinching his cheeks.

"Don't...."

"Don't call me cute" I mimicked his usual line.

He groans in frustration and requests the driver to drive faster.

I change the song on the radio and the song 'closer' starts playing.

I sing along "So baby pull me closer in the back seat of your rover".

I dramatically pull manik closer and he chuckles.

"Manik, I am still not happy to know that u are going to stay with another girl" I complain.

" Even,you are going stay with a 'guy'" manik says with disgust.

"Don't worry manik. I have made him sign an awesome contract." I remind him.

"Even you need not worry. The girl who is sharing my house made me share a weird contract. But I haven't seen her yet" he says.
Soon the driver announces our arrival.

We both exit the car and I get shocked seeing the house.

"I know it's a really luxurious house" manik says misunderstanding my surprise.

"You are going to live in this house"? I ask

"Yup" he says.

"Come lets go inside" he says and starts to walk

I stay back still feeling shocked.

Shock changes to excitement.

"Manik!!Manik! Manik!" I scream in excitement.

"What happened" he asks rushing towards me. I jump on him in excitement.

"Oh my God!!! You are so heavy Nandini. Get down" Manik say.

" I am sooo excited to be your housemate" I say.

"What"?he asks sounding surprised.
" This is the exact same house which I played rent for" I say making him double shocked.

"Nandini with your permission- lemme say ' Holy stranger of dosa's'" manik swears making me burst out laughing
