SEOKJIN POV
I opened my eyes slowly, observing my surroundings as everything was still a blur to me. There were numerous lights and the scent of gasoline and dust filled my nostrils as I slowly looked around.
As my vision cleared, I looked to my side and my eyes widened as I looked closely.
It was Namjoon. He was still asleep on the hospital bed, and even the life monitor and oxygen was beside him.
I couldn't move my arms nor my legs. I struggled to get free as I looked down at myself, tied to a chair with a piece of rope around me.
Youngyeon...
Did Youngyeon did this?
No... she would never do this...
She can't do this. She never will.
As I continued to look around, seeing if people other than Namjoon was here. My heart was racing and I was at the urge of breaking down, nervously scanning every inch of the warehouse.
Then, my eyes landed on a figure at the farther right, leaning against the wall.
"You! What is happening?" I asked as I looked at the person, and they sighed loudly before pushing themselves off a wall, slowly walking towards me.
"Take a guess. It's pointless helping you when you're like that already," they replied as they looked at my situation where I was tied up to a chair.
Then, a heavy scent of smoke filled my nostrils as I looked clearly at the person who was now infront of me.
"Taehyung, this is not funny! I know your mother was dear to you but I was already planning on turning myself when you did this! And Namjoon has nothing to do with this," I said and Taehyung only sighed again before drawing out smoke from his mouth.
"This isn't my doing. I was just dragged here to watch over you, idiot," Taehyung replied before turning his heel walking to Namjoon who was lying there peacefully.
"So... this is Namjoon. Your brother who you loved so much. He looks so peaceful," he said softly, and I only tilted my head at him in confusion.
"Is... Youngyeon actually behind all this?" I asked, and Taehyung turned to me before shrugging.
"Maybe, maybe not," he replied before shoving both of his hands inside his pockets, looking around as his tattooes sticked out of the blue suit he was wearing.
"Just tell me, or we'll all die! Who's the person who kidnapped Namjoon?!" I asked again, raising my voice.
"You'll find out soon," he answered briefly.
"Why... are you talking like that?" I asked, noticing how carefree and dense he was talking, like everything around him was dull.
"I don't know, ask yourself. There has to be a reason why I look like a dense little shit right?" He replied before walking away, going back to the spot he was at earlier.
Then, I heard the sound of a car. And I could guess it was parked somewhere beside the warehouse before I heard mumbles and sounds from many people.
As they walked in, my eyes landed at the crowds of men in black with weapons and tools on their hands, and then there was a person who stood out most of them, wearing a red outfit with black gloves.
Then, my eyes widened.
Youngyeon?!
As I looked at her, she was being escorted by two men as she walked inside, and her wrists were tied together as she was forced to walk with them.
"Throw her down, she's useless anyway," they said before tossing her to the side beside the barrels of gasoline, and I grip my hand into fists as try to get out from the restraints.
"Let her go! What in the world are you guys doing?!" I shout, and they give me a glare.
"Calm down, Seokjin. Don't be so violent. You look like a livestock rather than a CEO if you're like that."
I squinted my eyes, looking at the figure who was now approaching me, and I look at their features.
Mr. Han Hyunseok.
"You know... I should have never trusted you. And to think you were almost my father-in-law," I said as I looked at him who chuckled at me.
"Oh Seokjin. Of course everyone was suspicious of me. It's just that I came in late," he said as he looked down at me.
"What do you want? Why did you bring Namjoon here and how?!" I asked, and he hummed before looking at him.
"The doctor, Dr. Yoon, was a person who I paid to bring him here, we also deleted the CCTV footage so no one would know. Don't worry, he's alive," he said and I gritted my teeth.
"What do you want from me?! Do you know how much we've been through? The fire, the fucking rumours and backlash we got?!" I yelled.
"Oh, I'm not responsible for that. You'll have to put the blame on someone else," he tsked before turning to the male who was leaning by the side.
"Taehyung, get over here. Look at this man that dragged you down for years," he smiled and Taehyung bowed before slowly approaching him.
"Yes sir," he slowly muttered before following his orders.
"You see, Taehyung has been my trusted dog for years. He acts when I want him to and barks when I tell him to, it's so easy," he says as he pats Taehyung on the back.
"Anyway, Seokjin. I knew everything about you, right from the start. The famous heir who acts nice but is all in it for power, am I right? He'd do anything for reputation and would choose it over manners," he says and my eyes widened as it twitched, looking at him.
"Do you know me? Because last time I remember I always chose my morals, my passions, and wants over people who never supported me in the first place," I replied and Hyunseok smirked before leaning towards me.
"Too bad. Your parents didn't think that way, they think being rich is better than their children, am I right? You can tell how much Namjoon has been through just by how stressed he is everytime he comes back to Korea. Oh well, atleast he was useful," he says before chuckling.
I looked at him in shock as more anger boiled up inside of me, looking at him as my mouth failed to form words.
"Ah, he was such a foolish man. I didn't think he'd be able to accept my offer of 2 billion dollars plus a partnership. He wasn't so smart for an ESAT topnotcher," he muttered and I looked down.
"What else do you want? What is your motive and what do you want from us?! Do you want to destroy the Kim Family, is that it?!" I yelled and he grinned.
"I mean, KimHit wasn't made from scratch anyway. Seongjoo was from a well-off family. It would be unfair for others. All my life I just wanted to take over KimHit, but you had to ruin it, don't you... son of Seongjoo?" He smiles before leaning towards me.
"It's obvious it was for show...
...Afterall, even Joonseo was scared and obedient enough to kill her own husband."

Vote cuz bangtan is just gorgeous af in the Butter teaser photos lol :p
Also, I just want to rant so you can read this if you want to. (I have so many rants in this book pls im sorry;-;)
Btw, lots love to all my lovely readers who gave me unending support and gave me love and advice ^_^. Someday I want to meet all of you in person and give you a big bear hug ❤
I just want to talk about how people just straight up hate an author's book. I saw a comment on a book saying that the book was a waste of time and other shitty complaints. Please, authors are trying so hard to write for FREE. I wonder what goes inside a reader's mind when they say things like that in a book where the author might read them. Does it even benefit for you? Does it make you good? Because it doesn't. It makes you shitty and stupid and cocky. You're proud for saying that after damaging a person's mental wellness? Do you only point out mistakes, hate them for it, instead of appreciating the 2k word chapter they put their time into? Authors work so hard to make their readers happy. Things like that make their mental health worse. I even developed anxiety in reading comments because of it. Just because you haven't been in our shoes, doesn't mean it will never happen to you. We also write for ourselves, we also write for you guys to be happy. I'm speaking for all the authors too. There is a difference between contructive criticism and straight up insults. I've dealt with a lot of online harassment from haters, and all I want is for this negativity to stop. We are humans too. I've also recieved comments like these in my older books, and authors have been speaking about this situation too, so I want to share my part as well.
Also, to those saying "bUt iF yOu wERe iN iT fOr wRitIng WhY dO rEaDeRs mATTeR tO yOu tOo?" We were in it for writing. But we have a mental health too and harsh comments from readers worsen their health and it impacts the way they write. The reason why I didn't stop writing was so I could be there for my supporters and so I could carry on with my passion.
(This is kinda long im sorry. I have no one to rant this to :/)
Also, I'm planning on rewriting Dr. Jagiya after I finish outcast :D (dont worry i wont abandon it like Criminal bc Criminal made me die of cringe. What do you think I should do with Dr. Jagiya?) Oh, and the plot will be the same unlike HH <3
