Chapter 12
It's two weeks later and we are all finishing breakfast in the kitchen when a barn owl flies in and drops seven letters on the table.
There is one assigned to me, Thalia, Nico, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny. We each take our respected letters and read the papers inside.
Dear Mr. Jackson,
I am writing to inform you that you have been invited to attend your seventh year at Hogwarts this upcoming school year. Since you have already received your school supply list a year ago, it is not included in this letter. Please write back to inform me if you are going to attend, before the twenty-fourth of August.
Minerva McGonagall
Headmistress
We all acciood parchment and quills and then wrote our letters back saying we were happy to come. Thalia, Nico, and I didn't really have a choice, but we didn't mind.
"Looks like we'll be going to Hogwarts after all," I said with a smile.
"I guess so, Kelp Face," Thalia said with a smirk.
"I wonder what will happen..." Nico mumbled.
"Hopefully nothing," Harry said with a sigh.
"Who knows though. Lots of stuff could happen. Bad or good we can't be sure." Hermione replied.
"Can we at least have one year without giant spiders, a dark wizard, or a bad DADA teacher. Just one year of peace." Ron whined.
"You're best friends with Harry Potter and you're wanting a year of peace? Please! Girls and probably guys will be attacking him with affection for defeating the dark lord. Harry won't have any peace and quiet for a long time." Ginny said with a laugh.
Ron glared at Ginny and she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Thanks for reminding me Ginny," Harry said with another sigh.
"Alright, you people are getting on my nerves. We're going to Hogwarts! I don't know about the other two but being part of the construction made me want to go there even more." I said trying to get people to stop sighing.
Harry smiled, "Yeah...We're going to Hogwarts! Our second home."
"Now how about we all go for a swim?" I asked with a smile.
Everyone agreed and we all went to our rooms to get ready.
As I walked into the bedroom with Thalia and Nico I made a cloud of mist and I looked for a golden drachma.
"Yeah, you better message Poseidon. I don't feel like dying." Nico said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes and threw the golden drachma into the mist once I found one.
On the other side of the connection, I could see my father talking to Zeus. I cleared my throat and they looked towards me.
"Hello Perseus, what may I help you with?" my father asked as he walked towards the message.
"I was just asking if you could not drown Thalia or Nico when we go swimming?" I asked.
He groaned, "Fine."
I smirked and dragged my hand through the mist disconnecting the message.

It's September first and everyone is running around with their trunks getting ready to apparate to the Hogwarts Express.
"Alright everyone five minutes!" Molly yelled throughout the house.
Thalia, Nico, and I were the first three to get downstairs and to be ready. Then Ginny. Then Hermione. Then Harry. And finally Ron.
"Alright, everyone ready? Yes? Good. Now let's go." Molly said before we all apparated out of the burrow and to platform nine and three quarters.
We all said goodbye to Molly and then climbed onto the train. We searched for an empty compartment but instead, we found the compartment that had Draco, Blaise, Theo, Pansy, and Daphne sitting in it talking.
"Hey look who decided to show up!" Draco said with a laugh as we all climbed into the compartment.
"Good to see you too Draco," Thalia said back with a smirk.
"Isn't it always?" he asked with his signature smirk.
"Oh please," Pansy said before throwing an empty chocolate frog box at his head.
"Ha!" I exclaimed before slapping my hand over my mouth.
"Jackson you are dead." Blaise laughed.
"No kidding." Ginny laughed.
I immediately sprinted out of the compartment with Draco close behind me. I eventually jumped into a compartment and quickly closed the door. I watched Draco's silhouette run by and I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hey, Percy." I heard from behind me.
I jumped a few feet into the air and turned around to see Luna, Neville, Seamus, and Dean sitting in the compartment.
"Hey, Neville. Sorry I was running from Draco I made him mad on accident." I said as I took a quick breath.
"Stay as long as you need," He said with a laugh.
I laughed and then said goodbye. I walked out of the compartment and headed back to the one the others were in. When I walked in I saw Draco sitting down as calm as he could be and I sighed.
We all talked as we became more and more excited to get to Hogwarts.
When we were told we would be at the castle in five minutes the girls and boys broke into two compartments to change into robes.
Once we were all done we felt the train stop and we all exited the compartments. We grabbed our trunks and other things and then headed out.
As we walked out of the train towards the carriages people were gasping in shock in all directions. There were almost dead horses attached to the carriages, which made me assume they were what pulled us to the castle.
"They can all seem them now..." I heard Harry whisper.
"These are what have been pulling the carriages all these years..." Hermione whispered.
"Thestrals," Luna said.
"You can only see them once you've seen death. All of these people have seen death..." Harry sighed.
"Hey cheer up. We're at Hogwarts. A place we helped rebuild. We get to see new eleven-year-olds gawk at the amazement you already knew. Thalia, Nico, and I also get to experience it even more." I said with a small smile.
Harry just nodded and climbed into the carriage with Ron, Hermione, and Ginny.
I climbed in behind Thalia and soon enough the thestral's were pulling us to the castle.
Once we got to the castle we all took our things into the great hall and then waited for the feast to start.
After about twenty minutes McGonagall came into the great hall with about a hundred excited eleven-year-olds behind her. Once she got to the stage she stood behind a small wooden stool with an old hat resting on top of it.
"It is time for the annual house sorting. Will you be in Gryffindor, house of the brave? Slytherin, house of the cunning? Ravenclaw, house of the intelligent? Or Hufflepuff, house of the loyal? You will find out when I put the sorting hat onto your head. First, we have...Abraham, Alexander."
A small boy climbed onto the stage and sat on the stool. The hat whispered to the boy but eventually called out his house.
"HUFFLEPUFF!"
