The Sardes are just moving in when their sons Alex and David go upstairs to pick their rooms when their mom Amber and dad Gawen call them back down saying that it's not time to go up there yet. So the brothers start to come down when they hear a knock at the door. Alex answered it and it's Mayor Robert. Robert said," I welcome you and give you my worry because this house has been the haunted house of this town. The townspeople are worried that the old family that once lived there will come back to life if someone started to live in it." Then the Mayor left.

Alex told David that he would be going into the woods to explore and don't tell mom or dad unless I don't come back in two days. David wanted to follow but he had to stay behind to protect their unborn sister from harm.

David quietly got ready to chase after Alex when his mom Amber went into labor. David didn't know what to do because he need to go after Alex but his mother needed him as well. Gawen his dad told him to go looking for his brother and to take his cellphone to call if he needed help. David got his travel pack ready and left to go find Alex and bring him home even if he had to nock him out to do it.

Alex is lost in the woods and forgot to bring water. He is thirsty and hungry when he then found a deserted village with fresh footprints in the dirt roads. He went down what he thought was the Main Street but then got lost in the village.

David marked the trees with his hunting knife to mark the path he was taking in the woods and found Alex's footprints and followed those to the same deserted village that Alex is lost in. David sees Alex but Alex doesn't see him.
