Dear Diary, 

Today William and Kate took me to Heathrow. "We're going to miss you" Kate hugged me tightly. I smiled. "I'll miss you too. Don't worry though Kate. I'll only be gone for 3 days and I'm only an hour away". "Yeah if you fly" William joked as he hugged me. "Yeah I suppose" I laughed. "Just enjoy yourself" Kate patted me before I headed inside. 

I boarded the private helicopter that was to fly me to Anmer Hall. It was an hour in the helicopter until we landed outside the house. 

I went inside and Zara was there. "Hey Dayna!" she grinned as she came running towards me. "It's so good to see you!" I grinned in a tight hug. "Should we start or should I unpack?" I asked. "Whatever you want" Zara said. So we started riding. 

Princess Anne was there too! It was cool in Sandringham. Me in my t-shirt and jodhpurs and Hunter wellies, with Zara and Anne went to the stables. I saw my horse. It said on the door, Dansuese. "Hey Dansuese" I stroked him gently. I put on my riding helmet and I was ready. 

I learned some basics first. How to get on the horse. How to get the saddle on and in place. Dansuese's quirks and habits. When I practised and got used to him for an hour, we headed out into the training ground. Near Anmer Hall there was grounds for jumping and vaulting. With William and Kate's permission they were built. 

Long story but I'll sum it up. Land near Sandringham came up for sale so Princess Anne bought it and turned it into the area for riding. So we have the Anmer Hall and then we have the area for riding. It is beautiful. There is about two fields worth of free space for riding and then there is the three paddocks for the training. 

We got to work. Anne and Zara brought along their horses and we got to work.

"The basics of horse riding are easy to understand. They are fun and exciting but the faster you progress, the more you get to learn" Anne explained. 

First I learned how to sit on a horse. I got on the saddle and Anne and Zara instructed me. "You sit up straight. Back straight. No slouching. I should be able to draw a straight line right up your back" Zara explained. I sat up straight. "Perfect!". 

Eventually I learned how to get the horse to move and turn and stop. Tomorrow I will have to feed Dansuese and hopefully I'll learn vaulting and how to jump pretty soon!
