Dear Diary,

Today was Prince Phillip's 93rd birthday and Kate and I had a sudden engagement. We have been unexpectedly invited to the garden party for his birthday. William offered to stay behind and Kate and I went to the garden party together. It was a warm night so I chose a light outfit. I wore a white perforated leather dress from Jaeger and I put on some white glossy wedges, the ones I wore to Australia to the zoo in Sydney. 

 Once again Kate looked flawless and she and I sat talking while we waited for the car. I felt unwell because it has been so hot in London. "Are you alright?" Kate asked me as she put her arms around me. "I'm just a little nervous" I smiled. Kate gave me a kiss and supported me. "Well it will be a big crowd, if you'd rather not go" Kate suggested. 

I disagreed and told her with a smile: "I'll be there". Kate and I then got in the car and we set off for Buckingham Palace. We headed outside with Lilibet and Phillip and we mingled with everyone. 

We stayed out until 8:30pm when Kate and I headed back to the palace. I practised my languages until I got tired and went to bed.
