Bait for a dragon - Part 2 - Aegon x Aemond x Reader

Of course........how could she really have been so blind, so foolish as to not realise earlier; (Y/n) taking a seat on the bed next to the dress that Jason had "gifted" her for the evening's celebrations.

She had always known that as the daughter of a noble House, her role in life was to be little more than a commodity to be sold off to a man that either had enough gold, or enough power to afford her. That could give Jason and the House of Lannister something that would increase their own wealth and reach. And though she knew that she was already an age to wed, she had hoped that a marriage would be the furthest thing from her brother's minds while they were in the capital. Yet it would appear that she was wrong, the red and gold, elaborately embroidered gown, cut so that it would show enough of her feminine curves to attract the attention of the men at the rivalries. But who..........her eyes growing wide as she prayed to the Maiden, to the Mother, not for it to be the king. She had only been in Kings Landing, in the Red Keep but a day, and she had already heard the stories of Aegon; how anything in a skirt was not safe from the young king's roving eye. That he would often take what he wanted, whether the woman was willing, or not. But no........not even Jason would want her to be the whore of Aegon.........would he.......? No, no.........whores, mistresses could be passing fancies; something that the king.....a man, would keep around to entertain him until he either grew bored of her, or found a prettier one. No, Jason.......maybe even Tyland too, wanted something more than. They had sent their mother a message to send her from her home, so that they could offer her up to whatever lord they may have made a deal with. (Y/n) feeling an anger grow in her, feeling as if she had been betrayed by her own kin. Yet what was she to do? She could leave, run back to Casterly Rock; but if her mother agreed with her brothers, she would find herself sent straight back. She could just run away........but......where would she go; she had seen very little of the world, her mother never letting her go any further than into Lannisport, and even then she had to be surrounded by guards; so her journey to Kings Landing was the furthest she had ever been. Everything else that she knew of the world, of Westeros and Essos, was gleaned from all the books she would read. A heavy sigh leaving her lips, as she placed her finger on the soft material of the gown.

"It's beautiful, my lady. There will not be an eye that is not on you, tonight........"

"Yes........I believe that is the plan............."

"I beg your pardon, my lady.............?" Ask the confused maid. She and other, older maid looking at one another.

"Nothing.......nothing, Jarla........" The lioness replied, as she got to her feet.

"Well, let's get this over with....................."

Aemond sat at the top table with his mother, brother, sister and grandsire. He did not want to be there. The evening had only just started, and he was already done with Aegon, who was even now, drunk, and making a fool of himself. Winking at giggling young ladies that he was sure that his mother and Otto had had come to the capital so he could be offered up to a House that could offer his family something they wanted. Yet he was not about to play their game, he had better things to do than waste his time on silly girls that knew nothing, who saw a title and little more. Aemond having his own plans for his life.

"Your majesty's......Lord Hand......Prince Aemond.........." A voice came. Aemond not even bothering to look at whoever was addressing them. The prince rolling his eyes as he heard his brother's slurred voice.

"Ah.....Lord Lannister, and our Master of Ships. We are so glad that you could be here this evening.........And.......whom might this be...........?" Aegon enquired as he moved forward in his chair and licked his lips.

"This is our sister, your Grace......Lady (Y/n) Lannister........" Aemond, despite his dislike for the two lions, finding himself intrigued as to what their sister may look like. The prince slowly turning to look at the Lannisters; his eye growing wide as he saw the vision in front of him.

                                                  >>-----------------------------------<<

(Y/n) looked at herself in the mirror; the dress was indeed beautiful, and it fit her perfectly. It accentuating the swell of her bosom, and the curve of her hips and buttocks. Jarla and Edda having styled her hair perfectly; adorning it delicate, tiny red flowers. It obvious that whoever her brothers had eyed for her, was worth the coin that Jason had spent to have the obviously very expensive dress, made.

"My lady........" Edda began, as she placed a necklace at her throat; its pendant dropping exactly into the valley between (Y/n)'s breasts.

"You are a vision........" The older woman continued, before kissing her on the cheek. The lioness smiling as best she could, despite the terrible feeling that by the end of the evening, she may just find herself betrothed to a man that she had never met. A sudden knock at her door causing her to let out a heavy sigh; before she straightened herself and nodded for Jarla to open the ingress. (Y/n) doing her best to smile again, as her brothers came into the room. Jason looking at Tyland before looking back at her.

"Perfect............."

                                                       >>----------------------------------<<

The journey to the evening's celebrations had been made in silence. The three lions saying nothing to one another as Jason held (Y/n)'s arm and Tyland walked closely behind them. And with each step, the lioness knew that she could not escape. That whatever plans the twins had in mind, it was behind the large doors that were getting closer; (Y/n) having to think that fate was an unfortunate thing. That to be born a woman, was even more unfortunate. Targaryen guards bowing to the lions, before opening the doors.

The evening's festivities were already underway; the celebration far bigger than anything that had ever been held at the Rock. Her older brother leading her through the other guests; his chest puffed out like the proud peacock that he was. The trio only stopping as they came to stand before the high table.

"Your majesty's......Lord Hand......Prince Aemond.........." Jason said. Addressing all those that sat there. (Y/n) averting her gaze as a young man that was obviously King Aegon, looked at them.

"Ah.....Lord Lannister, and our Master of Ships. We are so glad that you could be here this evening.........And.......whom might this be...........?" The lioness still refusing to look up, as she heard the slur in the dragon's voice.

"This is our sister, your Grace......Lady (Y/n) Lannister........"

"Your sister...........? This vision is far too perfect to be your sister. You two are quite the ugliest things I have ever seen........No, this is not your sister.......this is the Maiden that has come to honour us with her presence.........." Aegon retorted. A small, wicked grin coming to his lips as he turned his attention to his younger brother who already had his eye on the lioness.

"Wouldn't you say, brother..........?" Aegon's smile getting a little bigger, as the young lady finally raised her head, her focus completely on his brother.

"And as such..........." Aegon getting to his feet.

"I believe that I should be the first to dance with her........." The king pulling his arm away from his mother as she placed her hand over his, and ignoring his grandfather's calls, as he pushed his chair back and moved around the table. Aegon taking the lioness from her brother, before leading her to where other guests were already dancing.
