Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.

"So I will see you at two?...Yes, thank you so much!"You said as you hung up the phone. That's right; you had just called the people who hosted the competition. Last night, after your parents had told you that they entered the contest for you, you hugged them and excitedly ran upstairs to pack. Ryu, of course, was still unsure about all of this, mainly because he doesn't like the idea of you being a lab rat for a strange house. After packing, Ryu of course helped, he and you joined your family for supper.

"Sweetie, breakfast is ready!" your mother called to you. Yes, food!

"Coming!" you yelled back and got dressed in (Fav/Outfit) and left your room.

You joined your family at the kitchen table and saw that your mom made (f/f). Since you plan on moving out today for the most part, she must have decided to make you your favorite breakfast one last time. You don't have a bunch of things to take since the house is already stocked. Then of course you have to go and get your mailing address changed.

"Have you already called the people from the paper dear?" your mom asked, to which you nodded your head yes.

"What did they say?" your dad questioned.

"They can't wait to see me at two this afternoon." You replied and took a huge bite of your food. You still couldn't believe the timing or luck that has happened. Usually luck was never in your favor but it looks like it is now!

"What about your job? Are you going to drive back and forth?" Mother asked.

Oh yea...your job. An hour drive isn't too bad, guess you will just have to call boss lady, aka Sadie, and ask her for a few days off since you need to get everything settled.

"I think I will keep my job and drive back and forth for now. I'll look for a job around my area later." You stated with a shrug of your shoulders and went back to eating.

~Mini Timeskip~

"Clothes?"

" Check!"

"Toothbrush and toothpaste?"

"Check."

"Your best friend?"

"Che-Wait!" the next thing you know Ryu jumped on the suitcase. He came over after breakfast and had offered to help make sure you had everything packed. Accepting was a bit of a mistake as he often distracted you more than helped. He was still hesitant with you going to a different town to live in a strange house. Of course, it didn't stop you from going.

"Ryu, get off my suitcase, besides, you are staying with me for the first few days right?" You reasoned, as you were trying to push him off.

"Yea, I guess." He mumbled and slowly slid off your bag.

"Thank you." You smiled and zipped the bag up. You looked at the clock in your room and saw it read twelve seventeen. In just a few more minutes, you would be leaving you home to stay at a new residence all by yourself.

You then started to lug everything to Ryu's car. Your mom and dad had to go to work earlier so your best friend was the one to escort you to your new house. By escort, you mean, he's put the address in his GPS and you are following behind him in your car.

Ryu drives a 2005,red Honda Pilot, which is a vehicle larger than yours, so he's the one to be carrying most of your stuff.

You drive a 2008, charcoal gray Pontiac Grand Prix. Yea, it's much smaller than your friend's automobile.

"How long can you stay with me?" You asked Ryu, while tossing your bags in his car.

"Well, I can stay for the first five days, at the most. " He responded

"Sadie is letting you miss work for five days?"

"Yea, she said she would like me back sooner but she's willing to let me stay with you until you are completely settled in before making me come back. Speaking of which, are you still going to work at Sugary Delights?"

"For now, I might try to get a new job closer to where I'll be living but I'm not too worried about it at the moment." You huffed as you got the last of your things loaded up. Looking at the time, you saw it was twelve forty seven.

"Ready to go?" you asked.

"Ready." Ryu replied.

You two walked to your own cars, got in, and started for Springhill.

The drive over wasn't too bad, all your favorite songs were playing and you were singing your little heart out.

At first, you were not sure if you were in the right neighborhood. All the houses you passed is, at least, three or more stories high and looked like a mansions. It was almost like a rich person's own community.

You and Ryu finally made it to the house and, let's just say, you are not disappointed. The house looks just like the picture! Putting the car in park and turning it off, you jump out of the car and run up to the the gate that was blocking you from the house.

The house was protected by a huge marble like wall with a gate for the only way to enter.The top of the gate had sharp looking spikes that would possibly scare away any would be trespassers

"Whoa! Calm down!" You heard your friend yell out, but you couldn't. Looking around, you noticed the guys from the paper aren't here yet.

"What time is it? Those dudes are supposed to be here!" you stated impatiently and looked at the clock. It read one forty-seven. Darn, you still had thirteen minutes to wait, if they came directly at two.

You were not wrong either, the men came directly at two...well man. There is only one guy getting out of a expensive silver car. A very sexy man. He has short, jet black hair. He is pretty tall, looks like he's probably 6'1.

By now, Ryu was standing beside you, keeping a close eye on the man. He approached us wearing a very unsettling smirk.

"I don't like the looks of this guy; he looks shifty." Ryu whispered.

"Shhh" you so didn't need him to say something offensive.

"I assume you two are here for the house?" He asked and Ryu was quick to answer, "Yes we are."

The man took a mock bow. "Wonderful! My name is Zen Reed, the genius behind this marvelous house." He bragged. He swiftly walked passed the two of you to the gate and...spoke to it?

"IAN, open the gate." Zen ordered and then the gate swung open.

"Umm, Ian?" You couldn't help but ask. If this house came with a butler, that would be amazing.

Zen smirked, "Yes, IAN- Intelligent Assistant Network. It's similar to a AI, but mine is better. I will explain more when we are inside."

With that being said, he strolled up the front door, you and Ryu following behind. Zen pulled out a key card type key from his pocket and scanned it at the door. 'Not sure if I like that kind of key' you thought as the door made a beeping noise and the sound of the lock turning to open.

Upon entering, I was quickly amazed at the sight.
