Y/N pov

You quit your banging on the door when you realize he isn't coming back for a while. Turning around, you slide down against the door, your butt making contact with the floor. You need to get out of here, and if Ryu is, by some miracle, still alive, then getting out and getting help would be the best plan.

You settle yourself down and think of some sort of plan. Standing up, you walk to the closet and start pulling the clothes off the metal rack. The rack is detachable and would definitely cause some damage if swung hard enough.

You carry it to the window where you start to swing the metal pole against it. Each hit resulted in the window cracking and the damage becoming greater. With one last swing, the window breaks. Slowly and carefully, you start climbing out, cutting yourself in the process.

You ignore the pain and pull yourself out the window. You're certain by now that Ian knows you broke part of the house, so once you are out, you start looking for a way down. Luckily, the pool outside was close to the part of the house you are escaping.

Taking a deep breath, you get a running start and leap off the roof.

The water is cold and the landing was harsh. Jumping off a two story building and into the water is not a soft landing, but you are alive and pretty much unharmed. Swimming to the top, you lay the pole on the ground and quickly climb out of the pool.

You take a moment to look at your cut up hands and legs. The incisions hurt but are not life threatening. As soon as you are stand, you hear Ian shout for you.

Grabbing your pole, you, once again, continue to run.

Joey pov

After Ryan, Zen and the girls went to bed, I decided to take a walk. I couldn't sleep, not with what is happening just down the road. No one else even knows what is going on, not a single person aside from my group and I.

Taking it to the police was an option at first, but Zen said the only thing that would accomplish is getting people killed. He made the house to survive a bunch of sh*t. The kill switch was in the plane with Zen when it went down and is now at the bottom of the sea.

The only hope we have for our friends is this new virus infected flash drive.

I slowly pull out the USB drive that is in my pocket. This is it. We only have one chance to do this right and if we fail, there will be no help for y/n or Ryu ever. Live in the house until death will be their fate.

Ryan has everything ready to seal it in the envelope, but we will add it to the paper tomorrow. It's crazy how we just might be able to outsmart the smart house. I put the small device back inside my jacket pocket and continue forward.

Along my small walk, I find myself passing the very house that I was thinking about, along with a loud splash.

I raise an eyebrow, stop and turn to face the house.

"What the-" my mumbling is cut off when I see a figure come running from behind the house. A figure that looks similar too...."y/n?" What the hell is she carrying?

I watch as she constantly looks behind her while running, looking for Ian I guess. I do a quick look over as well and then flag her over.

"Y/n!" I whisper yell so I wouldn't alert Ian. Her eyes make contact with mine as she runs straight to me. She's sopping wet and the thing she is carrying is a metal pole. Probably the one from the closet. At least she isn't unarmed.

"Oh thank God you're here. I never said those horrible things to you that day. Ian mimicked my voice, you have to help me! He's gone crazy-" she starts explaining, she is completely out of breath.

"Calm down, calm down, we know what happened. Are you alright though? Are you hurt?" I inquire as I see cuts along her legs and arms

"I'm fine for the most part, but Ryu...he's...I think he's dead. I jumped from the window into the pool to escape. If Ryu is somehow still alive, I wanted to comeback with help." She spoke with tears in her eyes.

"It's going to be alright. We will get you out of there with the help of Zen." I explain

"He's alive? I thought he died."

"Zen's plane went down because of Ian, but didn't know he survived. We all met Zen and he explained that Ian has totally gone haywire. Ian is getting stronger than he should be, it won't be long before he starts taking over devices in other peoples home." I explain. "But we have a plan." I start.

Maybe I can go ahead and just give it to her. I can go ahead and just pass the drive through the fence and she can go ahead and end this nightmare.

"What kind of plan?" she asks.

I pull out the small device and show her the drive. "This is a flash drive that holds all kinds of nasty and horrid viruses, strong enough to cause Ian to crash and burn."

She looks at me with an unsure face. "Are you sure this will end him? I've already tried drowning him and it will cost me dearly tomorrow. If I don't get out, or if this plan fails and he finds out, who knows what will happen."

"Zen assured us that this will finish him for good, the house will then be a normal house."

She slides her hand between the bars and I hand her the drive. She quickly puts it in her bra. I guess that's the safest place for it at the moment. As soon as her hand was back on the other side, the bars lit up like glow sticks.

"He turned on the electrical fence; you don't want to touch them." She informs me.

"Look, I need to get out of here quick. If he sees you talking to me, he may get suspicious and we can't have that. You only have one shot at inserting the drive and if you fail, that will be it. No more second chances." I explain.

"I got it, but where do I insert it?"

"Anywhere in the house that has a USB port. Zen didn't make it specific for emergency reasons. Just get it in one of them and it will be over. Now I need to get out of here, good luck!" with my finale good bye, I take off running away from the house.

I hate to leave her there, but I don't need to be standing around and ruining the plan. I just hope no one is upset when they find out I strayed from the original way of getting it to her.

Not dead and here is the next chapter! This story has about only one or two more chapters left, depending on how long I make the next one. I am sorry for the incredibly long wait and all for a boring chapter, but the next one will be better! I promise it won't take as long to make the next chapter.

And to assure you, this is not a filler chapter. I don't write those, this chapter was very much needed! I would have made it longer but I do have to finish a oneshot as well!
