Chapter 2
Asada , Seka and Siphyn
It was probably the worst team to start with. That's what Seka was thinking. After reading the letters, the three girls, we decide to ignore it. Finally, it was against the advice of the redhead. The latter watched the two talk about flowers , crouched near one on the ground. Although she liked Asada and Siphyn, she did not understand how they could have so quickly ignored their situation. Seka was aware that she was not the best person in this situation. In fact, if she had not read the letter, she would probably have been listening to Asada explain the meaning of each plant.
"It's actually fun, but all the plants here are symbolic of death! In fact, it is even surprising that they are united in view of the climate."
Seka wondered why she had listened to her right then... She decided to take matters into her own hands. Between the three, she was the only one who survived in the woods. Her parents had abandoned her and she had to manage for a long time before finding the city. Now, it was a long time ago, but at least she wasn't disoriented in that forest. She took her hair and tied it in a high ponytail. They weren't very long, but at least she won't mind.
"Girls, we shouldn't be going into town right now. Other people may be going first. We might as well try to find something to do around here."
Siphyn got up when he heard her speak.
"Yes, but other groups may steal everything you can find in town."
The redhead thought she was not wrong. In fact, she had thought about trying to find food, but there might be better choices in town. In addition, there was also the case of a locker. Technically, no one will be able to open it except her, but you never know. The one with blond honey hair turned to the last of the group.
"Asada, you decide.
-Huh?"
Seka let Siphyn explain both points of view to her while she continued to scan the area. Being in the forest part of the island, according to the map, reminded him of bad memories. She felt like a little girl again. Clearly, she didn't like it.
"Let's go to town."
She stopped remembering when Asada spoke. She turned to notice that her friend was looking at her in her words. How long had she been watching her? The happy laugh of the person with the longest hair in the group prevented him from asking any questions.
"I'm so happy to be back with you! Let's get started!"
Seka wondered if Siphyn was aware of the situation. She knew that the latter was the most naive of their generation at the house of happiness, but she found that sometimes it was close to stupidity. The redhead started to look in her bag for the map. They didn't have much, but she could already not tell where she was— They had to use Asada's. Fortunately, she was the only one of the three who had a pretty good sense of direction. Seka may have survived in the forest, but she couldn't find herself on a map. As Asada walked in front of them, Seka took the opportunity to start a conversation with Siphyn. She could not see herself walking in silence. Especially since she didn't feel comfortable here.
"Do you think other people are the ones we know?
-That would make sense to me! I look forward to seeing Riku."
The redhead thought that if this were the case, she already knew exactly who would follow this letter. Spark used to fight and never hesitated to fight with them even on a whim. The person Seka feared the most was Yuna. The latter is also used to fighting and given the number of times she had beaten Spark, it was not stupid to say that she was the toughest of them. If not another person who will follow this letter, he had without hessiter Gabin and Keisuke. She clearly had no desire to face one of the four.
His gaze rested on the one who walked in front. Seka tried to think about the group of three that might form. She wasn't as naive as Siphyn, she trusted that their little group would break up quickly. After all, Asada was pretty good with Alex and Keisha. Clearly, her three were going to stay together. Well, it wasn't about... Chances were Asada would stay with her sister even if she and Yuna didn't really get along. In any case, they may be friends, but Seka knew she was far from being her first choice.
Then she thought of Siphyn. Siphyn would probably stay with Riku. Seka might join them, but— It would be death assured. It was selfish, but she didn't see anyone of that naive surviving. Siphyn was the angel of their group, but in a murder story... The redhead knew it was horrible what she was thinking, but who could blame her? Of course, she wanted it all to be a hoax and everyone to get away with it. But who can blame her for wanting to live?
