CHAPTER 26
Chapter 26: Lonely Boys Pt. 2
"Don't worry. We can... then we can maybe talk about us?" You asked, and he couldn't help to smile widely. He hugs you tightly before stroking your hair.
"I'm sorry, we had never had the chance to talk about ourselves. Maybe after all of this is finished, we can talk about ourselves?"
"I like that."
Then, someone could hear a cough as you look at Taehyung, sitting down and Holding out in pain.
"I'm sorry to break it to you two, but if we don't get out of this, we're not going to have anything to talk about," Taehyung said. He stood up before leaving the room. Seokjin looks at you before you walk over to taehyung to catch up.
"Where are you going? You asked Taehyung. He kept walking when you held his shirt. Holding it tightly, he couldn't help but grunt in annoyance.
"Let go. We need to get out of here," He said. He looks back at Seokjin before pointing at him, "Go take your boyfriend with you. We're getting out here."
"What about Yoongi?" You asked.
"I came here to help you take Seokjin back. Any ass back there who wishes to come with us is welcome. But if you refuse to go back with us, it's their problem and not mine."
"But he had agreed to help us! We can't just let him loose!" You argue with a stubborn Taehyung.
"And? I don't see the problem here," Taehyung said, "You need to stop being the hero for once, I'm barely holding on, and your boyfriend is not in a condition to fight. Hoseok is dead, and we will be next if we don't go."
You couldn't help to stay quiet. He was right, you were in no condition to do anything, and you couldn't force them to help you. They have done enough, but the lingering guilt yours couldn't stop gnawing at your mind.
There must be something we can do.
Over the distance, you three heard a sudden crash. As you look ahead, you begin walking to the noise before being stopped by Taehyung.
"Our mission here is to bring back Seokjin," Taehyung said. He stops before pinching the bridge of his nose, "I've lost Hoseok hyung, not you too."
"I need to try Tae..." you told him, "I'm bringing everyone out and finished everything. I need to. The problem is not going to stop if we keep running. You know that."
Loud crashing could be heard; your heads turned to the source of the ruckus. Taehyung had guided you and Seokjin into a yet again control panel room. Peeking through the windows, you were about to scream before Seokjin had to cover your mouth.
"It's easy... all you need to do is let go!" Jungkook's voice called out, "Are you seriously going just to let all her dreams not come through?"
Yoongi was in the distance; he had dropped to the ground and begun hyperventilating. He hasn't had any panic attacks in forever. It started ever since he was bullied, but after, she had stayed by his side. Knowing all his secrets, it begins to subside.
But hearing her voice, it had triggered something inside him. He didn't like how it felt. Something that had long been forgotten couldn't be forever gone.
"Yoongi..." The raging voice could be heard, "Please do what he had said... please...."
"Yoonji?" Yoongi's eyes begin to water. He hated it, and he hated how he had become so weak. The anger inside him was consuming every part of him. He wanted revenge. Something he had longed for was now burning.
"See hyung? Even Yoonji Noona wanted this! How about you... stay behind, and I'll help you!" Jungkook offer his way to Yoongi.
Dark, that is what he was feeling right now. The staggering body was now seeing red. Yoongi was out for blood; not even bloody arson could quench his thirst for revenge.
His body was giving out, and his legs were screaming to stop. But his mind was dragging him to a place his feet were somehow familiar. He had been in this place far too long. He was trying hard to look for clues or even a single light to make him understand.
Yoongi had lost his way. He needed to get back.
Suddenly, he saw a shadow in the darkness lurking from the corner of his eyes. Yoongi then stopped in his track. He held the gun in his belt.
"If it's any of you shitheads trying to drag me back from here, I ain't moving anywhere," Yoongi said, "Anne, if you are with them, please go back. I don't want to hurt you."
Chuckling of a man could be heard in the distance, and knew Yoongi was wrong.
He was looking for him. He took his gun before pointing it at a corner of the halls.
"Get out now. I know you're in there, you little shit." Yoongi wastes no time clicking his gun, turning it into a dangerous weapon that could dispose of its deadly fuse at his will.
"You were always the hardest one to convince," The very familiar sound said, "You were always suspicious with everything I did. Even Seokjin, a damned police officer, couldn't possibly know everything. But you hyung... you know everything."
"Cut your bullshit. I didn't come here to play around," Yoongi talks in a very annoying voice.
"But you are in my playground. You follow me, and I will play the games, right!" Jungkook seethes, "Besides, you are here, trying to find your most prized possession, aren't you, hyung?"
"What do you even know about it."
"Hyung... do you ever wonder how your shoes are one of the reasons you were brought into a certain place?" Jungkook asked, making Yoongi stay quiet, "I bet that's why you never took your shoes off."
"What are you talking –"
"I saw you that night, crying silently because I had ruined your favourite shoes. So, you had done what not even a good human being would do," Jungkook laughs, "You took the sole of the shoes and stitched them to your new ones. You were the idiot who had to believe those norms."
"You're stalling your true intentions," Yoongi ignore. Jungkook rambles. So what if he had believed those norms? Yoonji had given those shoes before she had left him. He had thought if he had worn the shoes long enough, he would find his way back to her.
"I thought the pathetic girl begging for her life was bluffing," Jungkook snickered, "she told me those norms. Of course, I don't believe in those things."
"And what do we have here!" A happy voice resonance in the whole room. Typically, people would have trembled in fear. But Yoongi was used to this kind of environment. He had gone through worse than being trapped.
He knew it was trapped, and he was ready to face it with his own bare hands. Willing to even die to see the truth of the house.
"The person Yoonji Noona had hoped for arrived in the mansion one day. You didn't think I would notice you lurking around every corner, would you? I mean, this is my house. I know everything that you don't. Every little secret Noona likes to say."
"And how do you know about that?" Yoongi asked his younger brother, gleaming delightfully, "She's dead. Dead for a long time now. What do you have that not even I can find?"
"Who do you think killed her?" Jungkook smirks, "Who do you think she begs every night not to be killed?"
"Who do you think, she fears every night of coming into her cell, that she wishes she rather dies?" Jungkook emerges from the shadows, laughing in happiness.
Finally, to manifest the proper form of a monster, you need to hit its wounded heart. That's how monsters are created.
