A week after foiling the kidnapping, Jake takes a few days off. Claire visits Ryan in prison. After going home, his wife Amber who's now 3 months pregnant has put on her short White dress and white sandals to suprise her husband Jake. Jake and Amber share a kiss and a slow dance. 24 hours later as Claire walks around the school, a hooded person grabs Claire and puts tape on her mouth and ties her hands behind her back and kidnaps her. Jerome tries to stop the hooded figure but is knocked unconscious. Jake finds him and takes him to the hospital and informs sibuna of the situation. 24 hours later Claire wakes up and finds herself on an island. Her hands and feet have been tied up. The hooded person is revealed to be Ryan kievit. He tells her he still loves her. He has also taken her kids Adam and mal and has his crime partner watch em in the basement. Ryan starts kissing Claire while his 2 crime partners stand watch over the island. At the hospital in England, Jerome wakes up and finds Jake there. He tells him "my wife and my kids are kidnapped." Jake is horrified. But he vows to find them no matter what. The doc tells Jerome he's recovered and goes home. The group discusses about a rescue mission. The only problem is they don't have any idea who or what can help. Then Jake says "there's someone that can. I know a few people that have powers and can help. They're in new York which is in the USA. Me and Jerome will go to new York and rescue Claire." Jerome and the others agree. They head for New York an hour later. 24 hours later, Jake and Jerome reach their destination. They find a mansion. As they walk up to the door, the door opens by itself and it closes behind em. They walk around and are stunned when someone tags em from behind. It's jean. Jake tells her him and Jerome need to see the professor and they need their help. Claire has been kidnapped and is believed to be in new York. Wolverine appears and him and Jake hug and greet each other. He asks "you here for a party?" Jake says "its more than that. We need your help. This is Jerome. His wife and kids are missing and are here in new York. We need your help." Logan takes Jake and Jerome to the professor in a classroom. Professor knew Jake was coming over. Jake tells professor x about his and Jerome's situation. The professor says "you've come to the right place. This is what xmen can do around here. Logan and the professor take Jake and Jerome out back and introduces them to the team. They go to a basement floor and see cerebro. As the professor, rogue, kitty, and Logan give Jake and Jerome a tour, Jake becomes dehydrated and falls to the floor. Logan a.k.a. wolverine places Jake on a table as the team treats him. When Jake wakes, he meets jean, storm, iceman and colossus. Jean tells Jake she treated him with a special syringe to get rid of his dehydration. As the team goes to get Jake one of his preferred signature drinks, jean and kitty and rogue watch a light bulb fall on Jake clocking him in the face. They remove it from him but are amazed when his injuries heal fast exactly like Logan's healing power. They discover Jake has gained healing power like Logan's. Jake is amazed by this. Then Logan and the others return with vanilla cola and peach tea and notice he now gained the same power as Logan's. Everyone is amazed by it. Jake and Logan take time to hang out. Then the professor comes in and tells them he knows where Claire and the kids are. Liberty island. They go to a room under the mansion. Jake and Jerome team with Logan, storm, rogue, kitty, jean and some of the other xmen and head for liberty island. When they reach it, Logan and Jake sense "theres multiple bad people here." The team splits up. Jake goes with Logan,kitty, rogue and iceman while Jerome goes with the others. Then 3 of the bad people attack. Jake defeats one of the culprits while Logan fights the other. The culprits are revealed to be toad,
Pyro, mystique and magneto. As the fight goes on, Jake finds a plastic a plastic gun loaded with syringes that can neutralize mutant powers. He figures he needs xmen whenever he needs them. While mystique beats up wolverine and has him in a headlock, Jake appears and shoots mystique when they get outside on a platform 90 feet from the ground. Then Logan and Jake tag team and throw her off the platform and the other throw toad and pyro off and Jake uses the gun and shoots pyro and toad neautralizingntheir powers as they fall. The culprits fall to their doom when they crash through a boat. They don't survive it. Jake, Jerome and the xmen make it to to the head of liberty.  Magneto out of nowhere uses metal items and traps the team but Jake gets out of the way and uses a railing to hang on. When magneto talks about a deadly plan he and his partner plan to use Claire to turn the city into a ghost town, Jake attacks as he's flying up to the torch. As Jake fights to hang on to magneto and subdue him while 200 feet in the air, he digs out a syringe from his back pocket and sticks it to magneto taking his powers away for good. They fall. Before Jake hits the head of the liberty, hjean uses her power to slow him down. The team is back inside. They see Claire. Jean uses her power to get Jake up there. It's successful. Jake battles Ryan. As Jake delivers blows to ryan, Ryan doesn't stop revealing he has durability and Jake will need more than that. Before Ryan can finish off Jake, Jake pulls out an extra syringe and puts it in Ryan's chest. Ryan's durability is neutralized and Jake says to Ryan "yippie ki yay" and throws Ryan off the torch and into the downed boat 300 feet down. He frees Claire and the team comes in with their jet and picks them up and takes them to their mansion. They get treated. And everyone hangs out in the mansion knowing they saved each other and the world.
