Today, we went to the library. I didn't know before that you liked being here until we dropped by almost every other day.
You were staring blankly in space as I wrote down something on my pad. I asked you what was going on by raising my brows slightly.
"Let's exchange pins," you suddenly suggested, or more like demanded — though in a nice way — because you were already taking yours off.
School pins held no importance to me. I actually had always wondered why we had to wear a plain gold pin on our uniform's collar when the initials of our name were at the back anyway.
But today, I figured their worth.
I smiled, feeling my chest cave inwardly and a tickling sensation swarmed my stomach.
You placed my pin securely on your collar.
