Backstory:
Willow Shackley was born in Snowkeep to Balinn and Lyra Shackley. She was their only daughter and eldest child. Despite her being female, it was decided that Willow would succeed Balinn as the head of House Shackley. This was done because Gawain was a very sickly child and was on death's doorstep many times before even turning five. From a young age, Willow exceeded at politics proofing she was a born leader. Together with Gawain, Willow suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Balinn.
