Last Chapter
Catra could barely focus at work, her mind kept going back to what Glimmer said.
"I'm sorry,"
Sorry for what? She wondered. As far as she knew, Glimmer hadn't done anything that would make her apologize except maybe looking through her phone.
When work ended she sat down in her car. Why can't I stop thinking about what she said? It doesn't make any sense, it was just about the phone.
"Knock it off Catra," She pulled out her phone and texted Glimmer.
Catra:
On my way home
Glimmer:
Can you pick up groceries first? We're running low, I can send you the list.
Catra:
Yeah sure
Glimmer:

Catra:
Thanks, love ya
Catra waited a bit but Glimmer didn't respond. She didn't mind though, Glimmer sometimes fell asleep while texting and she even tested her theory a few weeks ago. However, before she could drive off her phone buzzed again.
Princess:
Hey Kitten I'm back
Kitten:
Hey Princess, you busy rn?
Princess:
Nope!
Kitten:
Coming over
Catra turned her phone off, not even waiting for a response. She knew Adora's address so she drove off in the direction of Adora's house. I wonder where she works, that's a typical friend question right? Who am I kidding, we probably aren't even friends. Friends don't fuck, even if it was once. Wait that's how relationships are made.
"Dumbass," Catra mumbled tapping her fingers against the wheel for concentration and to stop her train of thought. Wait where was I going? Oh right home. She shook her head in disapproval herself before paying attention to the road. I wonder what Glimmer's doing right now. Probably watching TV again, there's not much she can do. I am such a boring person.
Catra pulled up outside their house and went to leave her car but saw another car parked outside. Did she order delivery? Eh, probably. She ignored it and left her car, bringing her belongings with her. She took her keys out and unlocked the front door. But where is the delivery person? Catra felt her hands begin to shake as she slowly pushed open the front door.
Her heart dropped when she saw Glimmer on the couch with another man. The two were watching some stupid movie that Glimmer claimed she hated. They were way too close for Catra's liking. Catra felt herself freeze, she couldn't move and because of that, she watched as Glimmer kissed the man.
"Glimmer?" She choked out causing both of them to turn around.
"Catra! I-I told you to get groceries," Glimmer said and Catra finally understood. She was supposed to stay out longer so the two can spend more time together.
"Glimmer why did you- wait." Catra stopped herself as she pushed her hair back.
"That's not my child is it," Glimmer shook her head. Catra felt her entire world crumble. She spent months taking care of her for that child but it wasn't even hers. She didn't even notice she was crying but Glimmer did and the man immediately averted eye contact.
"Catra I wanted to tell you but-"
"But what Glimmer? You could've at least told me when you got pregnant. I SPENT MONTHS TAKING CARE OF YOU AND THIS CHILD ISN'T EVEN MINE!!" Catra yelled, her hands balling her and her tail swaying around aggressively. Glimmer flinched and looked down, ashamed of herself. Catra sighed as she wiped her eyes.
"Pack your shit and leave my house. We're done." Catra said before looking back over at the man on the couch.
"And leave your ring."
Adora didn't know what was taking so long. She didn't mind waiting but it was taking way too long. The only problem was that she didn't know Catra's address so she couldn't go searching for her.
"I hope she's ok," Adora muttered before hearing a knock on the door. Her mood instantly brightened, she knew it was Catra. She stood up and went over to the door before opening it.
"Hey, Catra!" She said happily. However, her smile fell when she saw Catra was crying.
"W-What happened?" Adora asked crouching down and hugging her friend.
"Glimmer cheated on me!" Catra cried gripping Adora's back. At the mention of Glimmer, Adora froze.
"That's who Bow was talking about," She whispered to herself. Catra's ears perked up and she lifted her head.
"Who's Bow?"
"A friend of mine talks about someone named Glimmer all the time," Adora said before looking down and seeing how heartbroken Catra was. She forced a smile and lifted Catra. She carried her to the couch and laid her down.
"She cheated on me," Catra mumbled burying her face in her hands.
"I'm so sorry Catra," Adora said trying her best to comfort her crying friend. Catra glanced up at Adora before leaning on her shoulder.
"Thank you for being here, I had no one else," Catra muttered wiping her eyes. Adora nodded and moved closer to her friend.
"I'll always be there for you Catra, even if we just met," Adora said pulling Catra onto her lap. Catra looked down at her and smiled a bit.
"Your promise?" Catra asked. She didn't want to be a child but she didn't want to lose anyone else. Adora didn't seem to mind her request and nodded.
"I promise,"
Adora kept her promise, even as years went by. About a month or so after Catra left Glimmer the two started dating. Adora decided to cut off her relationship with Bow, just to make Catra feel better since she no longer associated herself with Glimmer.
Catra appreciated everything Adora did for her. However, she felt that she barely did anything for Adora so she decided to change that.
Catra was watching Adora sleep on her couch. The blonde was fast asleep. Catra smiled and carefully stood up before going into her bedroom. She dug through her closet and grinned when she found the new suit she just bought.
She turned to the door, to check for any noise. When there was none she changed out of her clothes and into her suit. Nice. Catra thought after examining herself in the mirror. She let out a nervous sigh before going downstairs.
"Good luck me," She muttered as she put her hand on Adora's shoulder, shaking her. Lazily, Adora turned around.
"Hm?"
"Hey, wake up Princess," Catra whispered while Adora rubbed her eyes. She squinted towards Catra but her eyes fully opened when she saw her dressed up. Her face turned red as she struggled to come up with an answer.
"Calm down Princess, get dressed we're heading out," Catra said after noticing how flustered Adora got on such short notice. Adora blushed harder and quickly ran upstairs to change. Catra chuckled at her speed as she fiddled with her phone in her pocket. I'm so grateful for her, she loves me so much and I love her. We're... perfect.
Suddenly, Adora's phone dinged. Catra turned her head towards the sound and curiously she peeked at the notification.
Huntara:
Come over later, tell me how it went
Any regular person would've brushed this off but it's Catra and she's been hurt before. Catra's ears dropped as she heard footsteps from the stairs.
"Hey, Catra! I got dressed and-"
"What is this? Who's Huntara?" Catra snapped shoving Adora's phone in her face. Adora's eyes widened when she realized what Catra was feeling, scared.
"Catra I promise I'm not cheating on you. She's a friend and-"
"Tell me how it went? How what went? What is she talking about?" Catra shouted. Adora sighed, the plan was to do this later today.
"I didn't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice," Adora said causing Catra's ears to drop.
"W-Wait no I'm sorry I overreacted j-just please don't leave me!" Catra begged, holding both her hands together, dropping to her knees. Then she heard Adora giggle.
"Stand up Kitten," Catra lifted her head and noticed Adora on one knee.
"Ok," Catra mumbled standing up. She sighed and looked down at her girlfriend.
"Wait-"
"Kitten you ruined the surprise, will you marry-"
"HELL YES!" Catra yelled tackling Adora to the ground. Adora chuckled as she wrapped her arms around Catra's back.
"I can't believe this," Catra mumbled resting her head on Adora's shoulder.
"You better Kitten," Adora whispered, stroking the back of Catra's head.
"I know I just... I wanted to take you out, do something special for you." Catra said as Adora helped Catra stand up. Catra smoothed her suit jacket down before looking up at Adora.
"I feel like I haven't done anything for you." Adora's expression softened as she crouched down to Catra's level.
"Catra, don't worry about it. I love you and I know you love me, that's what matters. Besides, I have a surprise for you." Adora said causing Catra's ear to flick. She was listening.
"So uh, you know how this place has magic right?" Catra nodded.
"And, well you know I'm lesbian," Catra nodded.
"W-Well..." Adora reached in her pocket and handed Catra a pregnancy test. Positive.
"Holy shit,"
"Yeah uh turns out that magic is real cause I haven't been seeing anyone and I'm fully into girls," Adora said as her face turned red. Catra's gaze didn't change and her expression stayed the same which began to worry, Adora.
"Catra? A-Are you ok?" Adora whispered nervously. Finally, Catra lifted her head and she smiled.
"It's mine right?" Adora nodded. Catra hugged Adora tightly as tears fell from her eyes.
"I'm going to be a mom!" She cried as tears fell from Adora's eyes.
"We're going to be moms." Adora corrected before Catra jumped up and kissed her fiance. Adora kissed her back before Catra got down on her own feet.
"I love you so much."
"Aw, I love you too Catra! Actually, I already have a name for them!" Adora said as Catra crossed her eyes still smiling.
"What is it?"
"Adora the second!"
"Adora no,"
