[ I wrote it imagining it to be my Ted talk or my autobiography or something similar, please read it in a voice appropriate to that. ]

I was earlier called @AdventurousA, which fit my personality perfectly. My name started with an A and I was fairly adventurous in life, evident by the risks I took while making bad decisions. (rip me)

But, when I returned after my hiatus, I wanted something aesthetic because tumblr had started to grow on me those days. Also, an oxymoron, I thought, was the dopiest thing to ever exist and I really wanted to have one as my username. But then, I had an undying love towards beautiful words that flew off your tongue and made you sound sophisticated and well read because fake it till you make it duh! (so many bad wannabe jokes. I'm already sorry.) 

Anyway, I google-d a lot of lists of oxymorons and researched a lot of words from other languages which would seem aesthetic. I then short-listed three or four usernames and I did what any sane person would do. I sent them to my best friend to approve and help me choose. 

And she was the one who came up with the exciting reason why we should go with calmstorms. So, this is all her brains. Essentially, I am a very calm and composed person so much so that the kid who was in charge of the yearbook committee added a line to my description which read "anger is a word not known to her". That got my  friends super confused because they know I am a fiery child when I get riled up (#AriesChild), about which the best part is that it's not a frequent occurrence.

So, just the way a storm is supposed to wreak havoc and bring destruction at its will, I'm a person who when vexed is not a pretty sight. But I guess, people remember me by my peaceful and tranquil persona more often. So, keeping in mind these two contradicting facts and my love for oxymorons, calmstorms- was born. 

NOTE: the hyphen is just for aesthetic purposes.

Bonus: The runner-ups in the username race were calmwinds, panacea and redolent.

Now, for the graphic that aptly defines me. *tries to grin while crying internally* 

Yeah, I realized later on that I made it a little too dramatic. pfft. 

I'm not gonna narrate a story cause I don't have one. 

  ✿ It's a girl with a book. The first word (or one of the first words) which people describe me with is either a voracious reader or a bookworm. Books, to me, are an integral part of my identity and have been instrumental in shaping up my personality. Also, if not for books, I wouldn't have been on this site and met so many great people on here.

  ✿ The backdrop is of a forest. I actually am really fond of nature. I have a pretty big garden at my home (courtesy:  my grandfather and aunt) and it's the most beautiful part of the house, according to me. I just feel more at peace and much better when I'm sitting there or as I call it, sitting in the lap of nature. When I was a kid, I was often sitting in the lawn, reading something (which is why here, it's not impractical for her to have three piles of books in the forest XD)

✿ There are paper flying around/falling down, depending on your perspective. It's just a very simple ode to my love for fantasy and all sorts of things mystical and magical.

I feel that I can still fix the graphic to some level so I'm gonna do that later, if I can because I'm a procrastinator lol. but I did make it so yay!
