Rayden is, and always will be, the timid, imaginative boy. He was always witty, humorous and positive. He would try to brighten up anyone's day and make sure rainbows appear after the rain disappears. He is an idealist and loves to help people even if it isn't necessary. He is also welcoming and kind with a big heart. Although a habit of Rayden's include drifting off into his own world during the middle of a conversation. This causes him to be a bit distant at times and not so interactive. Rarely though, he can be careless and ignorant if he's about to snap, or in other cases, if his temper breaks. Otherwise, he panics easily and is kind of clumsy. Most of the time he's tranquil and openly shows concern to others when he's worried about them. Rayden is also as courageous as a lion, and doesn't mind taking risks. He may be shy and timid, but he secretly loves going on adventures.

ALWAYS PROVIDING A SHOULDER TO CRY ON — as mentioned earlier, rayden is an empathetic person. whenever you feel like you need a shoulder to cry on, he will always be there for you

POSITIVITY — he is one of the only people within the group who has a positive mindset. he rarely gets into negative situations despite his mental illnesses.

IMAGINATIVE — as mentioned previously, he is an idealist with an extremely high imaginative mind, even heaven can't be the limit for his imagination. rayden much prefers to see a lot of things from different point of views.

weaknesses

TIREDNESS — he has insomnia, so most of the time, he gets extremely tired and often has bags under his eyes. him being tired most of the time is a weakness for it causes his brain to lack the ability to function much and it also means that he lacks the willpower to do things.

INATTENTIVE — despite him being a great listener, rayden can be a tad inattentive at times. this is because whenever he often drifts off into his own world, he doesn't become aware of his surroundings (thus also making him aloof) and also doesn't happen to listen to any important conversations or such. this causes him to become an inattentive guy who might also be clueless because of the necessary things he didn't quite hear.

NAÏVE — rayden is certainly naïve at times. wether it be not listening to something important or a dead serious situation, he can't really tell what's going on. this is considered a weakness because it causes him to be, as mentioned previously, clueless and perhaps a tad gullible at times.

Rayden is able to create illusions that are able to trick the naked human eye, but the more powerful the illusion is, the more migraines he will get later on. It is because of this consequence that Rayden does not use his powers often.

He is also able to make people lose a bit of their sanity by whispering fears into their mind. This is also another part of his illusionary ability and no consequences are caused. Although since Rayden is amiable, he also dislikes using this ability.

backstory

When Rayden was around seventeen, he had soon developed undiagnosed schizophrenia which was unusual, considering for someone who was still a young adult. His parents were concerned for him when they had found out so they sent him to therapy. However, that didn't work out as well as they thought, for Rayden had refused to be fixed and thought that he was fine; that everything was normal. It wasn't. He wasn't fine. The doctors even mentioned that he had insomnia when he said that he couldn't help but stay awake during his the nights. Even before he had developed powers relating to dreams and illusions, he still had mental illnesses that involved those.

Nevertheless, there was more. Rayden soon caught the new epidemic called the Medusa Affect and wanted to forget what happened before he was frozen, before he entered the capsule for healing. He wanted to forget the promise he made to his parents. He wanted to forgive himself for not saving them, but he couldn't. He regrets promising his parents that they'll survive even though he very well knew that they wouldn't. He didn't want to be selfish at that time. He tried to convince the determined scientist to put his parents in a capsule when he heard about what the scientists were doing to help cure the infected, but the scientist refused, saying that they are only a limited amount of capsules. The scientist also informed Rayden that he was infected by the Medusa Affect as well and offered him the last spot in the capsule. He didn't accept, neither did he refuse. He had told the scientist that he'd think about it.

When Rayden went home to tell his parents the unfortunate news, he found them dead on the couch. Apparently, the Medusa Affect had already killed them. Without a choice and with nowhere to go, Rayden went back to the scientist and accepted the request.

His final thought was an apology to his now deceased parents.
