PERSONALITY;

Marinette is a sweet, outgoing, joyful, a bit awkward and clumsy girl. She loves art as she is highly creative and imaginative, always thinking outside the box, thinking quick on her feet and finding easy solutions to a problem by finding a will to a way. She's certainly not the type to give up easily, she also might as well be the most stubbornest person on earth! Despite her outgoing and empathetic personality, Marinette struggles with self-confidence and self-esteem: in any awkward situation, she becomes very nervous, anxious, and quick to panic. She's very helpful and is willing to help those who have insecurities. She's also caring, thoughtful and supportive of others. However, opposed to that strength, she herself loses her own confidence and tends to overthink things ever so easily. Marinette cares deeply for other people, usually putting their feelings and interests even before her own, thus making her extremely selfless.

Marinette can act impulsively and irrationally at times, sometimes assuming the worst. She may be open-minded and amiable, although she does (can become) surprisingly jealous easily, though aside from that, she tends to learn from her mistakes and become a more open-minded, understanding person. Although she is absent-minded and acts before thinking at times, Marinette is clever and intelligent as well as resourceful. Marinette also has a pure heart of gold, even if she may not see so herself, she has a pretty good sense of humour. She is also a great listener and that one person who always lends you a free shoulder to cry on.

FLAWS;

IMPULSIVE & STUBBORN :: as mentioned earlier, Marinette tends to act before she things sometimes and that can be a problem. She's also quite stubborn as heck and refuses to be anyone's to tame. She's certainly a force to be reckon with.

SOCIALLY AWKWARD :: Marinette can not talk to people, or strangers, or people. Usually if she does, she ends up becoming the queen of clumsy as well as a stuttering mess. Marinette especially hates this flaw of hers because it makes her look like an idiot, in her opinion.

LOW SELF-ESTEEM :: all she needs is someone who believes in her. Marinette is not confident in herself at all, which is sort of ironic considering that she is able to support others and make them believe the best in themselves. The problem with Marinette is that she's way too selfless and affable to be in this world. She's so kind-hearted and she deserves so much more than just the stars.

BACKSTORY;

Marinette had an average backstory, supposedly. She was extremely close to her dear father, who was always there for her and always showed her something fascinating and interesting. She loved him so much. Sadly, her heart was torn into pieces when her parents had divorced, apparently because her mother found her father cheating on her. At this news, Marinette was astonished. How could he? After everything? She pretty much lost hope in her father after that and attempted to move on, forgetting the past and trying to fit in with the new. She's had an average life since then, frankly.
