"Ava I can explain," Ava's dad began but April shook her head no again as she looked at her dad. "That's not what I asked!" Ava called out, making her dad sigh as he nodded.

"Yeah it's April I'm guessing you met her," Ava's dad told her, making Ava completely lose it as she was about to go off when Evie stood up not being able to just sit by and let Ava do all the talking.

"She's my dance teacher! My dance teacher is my secret sister!" Evie cried out in shock making her dad feel guilty as he tried to explain himself again.

"I'm sorry we couldn't handle two babies at the same time. We were struggling so we asked my father in law and mother in law to take in our other baby and they agreed but completely cut contact with us after that," Ava's dad told the others as he didn't know that April was there as well and could hear everything he was saying.

"SO MY DAD IS MY GRANDPA!" April exclaimed as she was trying to not get involved but she couldn't just ignore what her apparent dad said. "April!" The dead beat dad screamed out in shock as he had been too distracted to have noticed that April was standing right in that very room.

Ava just nodded as she stood by April and put her arm around her and Evie and Carlos joined. "That's right we're all here and reunited now you need to go! We don't need you anymore and you're just making things worse!" Ava told her dad, making him look at the siblings who were all standing together to show they were all united.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that things had to turn out like this," the father told his children who just shook their heads as they didn't want to see him anymore. "Just go before Dana comes back, she's the head of security at BHU which is only a few minutes from here and she will arrest you if she finds you!" Ava told her father as she pushed him out the door.

Once their dad left April just sat down on the couch as she looked at Ava. "I guess we're siblings," April told Ava who just sighed as she sat down by April and nodded. "Yeah I guess we are. I can't believe they did this to us again," Ava told April as she just got up and sat down by Mal to check up on her, causing April to get up as well.

"I should probably go now. I guess we can talk more about this later. I don't want to intrude," April told Ava and the others as she felt weird being in the hospital room for a child she barely even knew that was apparently her sister.

"Nonsense your family now! You deserve to be here as well. Plus I think you should get to know Mal," Evie told April as she knew what it felt like to feel like an outsider with her own family and she wanted April to feel like she belonged. April just smiled a little as she sat back down and just enjoyed her time getting to know her family.

"No few goo!" Mal cried out a few days later once she was back home from the hospital and while Carlos and Evie were just working on homework making April not even hesitate as she quickly ran to the toddler in panic as unlike Ava, Evie, and Carlos she still wasn't too used to seeing the young girl like this and it was scaring her.

"Oh my god! Is she okay! Should we do something?" April began but Evie just placed the back of her hand to Mal's forehead then shook her head no as she could feel no fever.

"No, she's not running a fever. It's just a side effect that happened last time and they said it was normal as long as she's not spiking a fever," Evie told April as she knew that watching Mal like this was hard, but they couldn't really do anything other than try to manage her pain as long as Mal wasn't showing any serious signs of problems and wasn't running a fever then everything was fine.

April just looked at Evie in complete shock as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "This is normal?" April asked in shock as she was just finding it so hard to wrap her brain around the fact that something like this was just completely normal.

The young girl was sobbing uncontrollably, screaming out in pain, and she was shaking like crazy. April didn't get how any of this could just be normal. And if this really was normal for the young girl, that was just heartbreaking.

"Unfortunately it is yes. And oh great! Alright Mal it's time for your medication," Ava told April and then Mal as her phone's timer started to go off altering her that it was time to give Mal her medicine.

"I thought you said she already did chemo today," April told Ava who just rolled her eyes as she pulled out a bag that was full of all of Mal's medications as she started sorting through it.

"She did this is other medication and the hospital told us that she has to take her medications everyday," Carlos told April who just looked over as she watched Ava pull out all the medications as Ava looked for the ones she needed.

"She has to take all that? How can her body handle all that?" April asked in shock as she got a look at all the bottles and medication that Ava had been looking through and she couldn't believe a small toddler could really handle putting that many medications in her tiny body.

Evie just sighed as she got up and sat down by her baby sister as she pulled her close to her in comfort as she couldn't take anymore of Mal's crying out of pain. "Why do you think she gets side effects," Evie told her sister, making April look at Evie and the young girl as she filled with sadness.

"Oh my gosh that must be torture," April said out loud as she was feeling horrible for her poor baby sister. She didn't really know much about her, but just hearing everything she has to go through was hurting so much.

Evie just nodded as she started to cry. She had been trying so hard to keep it in to not upset and scare Mal, but just holding Mal close to her was making it too hard to do that as she just let it all out.

"Sorry I just I think I need a minute," Evie told the others as she quickly ran out of the room causing April to run after Evie as she pulled her into a hug. "Hey you okay," April asked her little sister, making Evie nod as she didn't want to let out how she really felt.

"Evie you're lying. I can always tell when you're lying. It's okay I'm your big sister now apparently. You can tell me anything I want to help," April told Evie who just squeezed tighter onto April as she broke down sobbing.

"This is torture. Especially when she begs you not to make her go through the pain and you want to just say okay but you know you can't! She has to even though it's making her suffer because without this she dies! This hurts so much! I want to be able to just be happy and focused and relax, but I can't! I'm just always worrying about her! Why couldn't she just be healthy! She's the cutest and sweetest little thing ever! I don't want to lose her!" Evie cried out, releasing all her tears as she just couldn't hold them back anymore.

April just sadly nodded as she felt the tears start to flow down her face as well as she could see how much Evie was hurting and she honestly felt the same way that Evie did about this whole thing.

"I know Evie but it's going to be okay. We just have to stay positive and do our best as Mal's big sisters to just be there for her," April told Evie who just nodded before she started to cry harder.

"I know but it's so hard! She's so full of happiness and love and I just don't get it! She cries everyday in pain and I can't stop it and I hate that! I want to be a good big sister, but I can't even take away her pain! And... and... and," Evie sobbed out as she started gasping for air causing April to quickly let go of Evie as she looked at her in the eyes knowing Evie was having a panic attack.

"Evie it's okay. Take deep breaths in and out," April told Evie who just started crying more when she tried to follow April but couldn't, causing her to get scared.

"I...I...I...ca...ca...ca...can...can," Evie gasped out not being able to get all her words. April just cut Evie off as she tried to stay calm and not panic but she was starting to as she couldn't seem to be able to calm Evie down.

"Okay um watch me and just copy me okay," April told her little sister who just nodded as she copied April who just kept taking deep breaths in and out until Evie finally seemed to calm down making April smile as she had managed to calm Evie down.

"There we go. Are you okay now," April asked Evie in her gentle voice, making Evie smile a little as she nodded. "Yeah um thanks for that. I just sometimes it gets too much. I'm really sorry for making you do that," Evie told her big sister, making April shake her head as she looked at Evie.

"You didn't make me do anything. You're my little sister and I care about you. I may not have known you were my sister until now, but I've always held a special place in my heart for you because I always knew you were different from the rest," April told Evie, making Evie smile as she hugged April again.

"Aw you really mean that! Thanks April! I'm glad you're my big sister," Evie told April, making April smile as she released the hug. "And I'm glad you're my little sister. So you think you ready to go back in there," April asked Evie who was about to respond when Carlos came running out.

"She's fighting it again. I held her down last time it's your turn," Carlos called out as he ran over to Evie making April look at the two in confusion as she didn't get what was going on, but Evie seemed to as she just slowly nodded.

"Wait what's going on," April asked hoping to get some more information about what was happening, making Evie sigh as she knew she needed to go back into the room now as Mal needed her.

"Ava needs help getting Mal to take the medicine because she kicks and cries and freaks out hurting herself more. So Carlos and I switch off and unfortunately it's my turn. Guess I'm going back in now," Evie told April who was going to protest, but Evie had already walked back in. April just looked at Carlos who just shrugged as the two of them entered the room following after Evie.

As soon as Evie entered the room she was met with the horrible sight of Mal screaming and trying to run away while Ava was trying to get her to take the medicine. "NO MEWEN! NO MOW! NO MOW!" The young toddler cried out as she tried to run away.

"Mal you need it! Please!" Ava called out making the small girl cry more as she tried to run again, but Evie was faster as she quickly grabbed the young toddler and picked her up then held down her arms.

This just caused the young girl to completely lose it as she started thrashing and crying out as loudly as she could that anyone that heard would probably think someone was trying to murder her. "WE GO! WE GO! WE GO! WE GO! WE GO! NO WAN ID! NO WAN ID! NO WAN ID!" Mal cried out, making Evie start crying again as she started to try and calm her baby sister.

"Shh Mal I know! I know you don't like it, I know. But you need it. It's gonna help you," Evie cooed out to the toddler as she continued to just try and calm her down. "Mal please open," Ava told the young girl who shook her head no as she started sobbing louder finally giving Ava her opening as she quickly shoved the medicine in Mal's mouth.

Ava started to get frustrated though when she could see that Mal wasn't swallowing the medicine and it looked like she was going to get rid of it. "Swallow! Mal do not spit it out! Swallow it!" Ava told the toddler in her stern voice as she didn't like being stern with the young girl, but Mal needed her medicine. It wasn't a joke.

Mal just started sobbing more as she started gagging, making Ava groan as quickly grabbed a bucket. "Ugh not again! Come on Mal please not again," Ava cried out but it was no use as the young girl just grabbed the bucket from Ava and threw up causing her to start sobbing more.

April just watched the whole thing in complete shock as she just couldn't accept that this was all normal. Something else had to be going on. "Are you sure she's okay? She looks really pale, is that normal?" April asked in concern, making Ava roll her eyes as she washed the bucket off in the sink.

"She's always pale," Ava told April who just got up as she walked over to Mal making Ava a little nervous as she didn't really know April too much yet and even though she was her sister and Mal's it still worried her sometimes.

"What are you doing," Ava asked April who just sat down by Mal who was still sobbing and leaning on Evie who was trying to calm her down. "I'm checking for a fever," April told Ava who just rolled her eyes as she didn't get why April couldn't just trust her.

Ava was the one in charge, not April. "I told you she's fine," Ava began but was interrupted when April placed the back of her hand to Mal's forehead and was immediately met with a warm touch.

"Okay no! She's burning up!" April called out, making Ava quickly run over in panic as a fever was dangerous.
