The old house was dark and silent. The only sound was the ticking of the grandfather clock in the hallway. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the doorway. 

It was tall and thin, with long, dark hair and glowing red eyes. 

The figure smiled, revealing sharp, pointed teeth.
