Sam Uley:

You and your brother are both back home in your dad's house, wincing in a lot of pain because you both have saved your friend Amanda and your very own principal Mr. Alexander from being crushed to death which surprised not only Mr. Bernard but also your principal as well since he have never seen you did anything heroic like that. You both are in your room wincing in pain as Archibald came along with Daeron before closing the door.

"Well you two, I got good news and bad news. The good news is your ribs are healed." Daeron said

"Really?" Your brother asked while wincing

"Yeah but the bad news is it is in a very bad shape and out of place." Archibald said

"Ahh... it hurts." You said

"Well... what's the good news?" Your brother asked

"Well the half good news... we have to rebreak your bones. It's the only way for your ribs to heal properly." Daeron said

You and your brother both groaned in agony as Daeron went over to you as Archibald went over to your brother.

"You both are going to feel a lot pain." Archibald warned

"Plus you two are going to scream and it is going to be for a while." Daeron warned

You both whimpered as Archibald and Daeron cracked their knuckles before coming over to the both of you. Meanwhile, outside of the house, Sam is with Emily and the rest of your family as Samuel, Sandra and Jacobson came over by running as the three noticed your family as Mr. Alexander came along with Mr. Bernard, Butch, Brittany and Amanda.

"Hey." Sandra said

Just then screams came from both you and your brother as Emily teared up as Sam rubbed her back as he felt very tensed.

"It's going to be for a while." Brady said

"They are caring them by re-breaking their bones." Quil Ateara V said

"Why did my two Alphas should've butt in like that? We got those ticks down!" Amanda said

"Amanda relax." Mr. Bernard said sternly

"No! This wouldn't have happened if Y/N and Y/B/N didn't join this fight!" Amanda shouted

Amanda walked away in sadness with tears as Brittany looked at Emily and came over to her and gently hugged her.

"Is she going to be ok?" Sandra asked

"She will pull through. She's a tough cookie like Sam is." Collin said

"What about Y/B/N?" Jacobson asked

"He'll pull through. They are taking care of them." Embry said

Daeron and Archibald both got out of the house as they look at Sam, Emily and the rest of your family.

"The worst is over. They will be alright." Archibald said

"We both have set up morphine in their bodies to ease the pain but due to their body temperature, it will not take effect." Daeron said

"So my partner and I set up a drip for them." Archibald said

"If any of you want to see them, go one or two at a time. Don't go all at once." Daeron said

They both leave to go back to the boat to have their long travel to Barrow, Alaska as Embry came over and begin to look at Sam and Emily.

"You two can go first." Embry said

"Ok and Mr. Bernard and Mr. Alexander, you can go next." Sam said

As Emily and Sam came inside the house, the rest of the pack came in as they both went upstairs as Sam smells your scent as he saw you and your brother with bandages on your torsos as Sam came over to the both of you.

"Hey daddy." You said

Your brother tried to sit up as he groaned in pain as Emily came and gently place her hands on his chest and back as you grunted and tried to sit up as Sam came over and gently place his hand on your chest and back.

"Lay down." Sam said

"But daddy and mommy." You and your brother said

"Lay down now." Emily said

You and your brother both slowly lay back down on the bed as Sam sighs softly.

"Why did you both have to do that?" Sam asked

"If we didn't do something then Amanda will get her ribs crushed." Your brother said

"Mr. Alexander is our principal and plus, I don't want to see him with broken ribs. That's why my brother and I got the ribs crushing instead of them." You said

"You had us worried too. You know that?" Emily asked

"Are you going to ground us?" You asked

"No. We are not going to do that.  You both need to heal." Sam said

"I know." You said

"On the plus side is we have no homework." Your brother said

"Oh you will have homework when your teacher comes to give you it." Emily said

You and your brother both make a pout on your faces as Sam chuckled softly.

"You still need your education so maybe your teacher will come and give you the homework needed." Sam said

"Oh alright." You said

You both then noticed your mom about to cry as you gently held her hand.

"Mommy don't cry." You said

"Don't be sad mom." Your brother said

"You got more visitors coming in. I believe your friend Amanda went home." Sam said

"She must be guilty that I saved her life from being crushed." Your brother said

"I don't think that's her fault. After all, you did do the right thing. I get that your friend is a big girl and would like to handle it on her own but you did the right thing. If she was crushed, you would have one girl member down." Mr. Bernard said

You and your brother both turned to see Mr. Bernard with Mr. Alexander as they both came in as Sam look at you and your brother.

"I'll let you be alone with my kids." Sam said

As Sam along with Emily both leave, you tried to sit up as Mr. Bernard nodded no.

"Lay back down Y/N. I know you wanted to sit up but your ribs are too sore." Mr. Bernard said

You lay back down as Mr. Alexander look at you.

"Thank you, Y/N and Y/B/N, for saving my wolf behind. I mean I would give you both a medal as a thank you gift and I shouldn't have put you in this fight." Mr. Alexander said

"No need to apologize sir." You said

"We did what we have to do and got the newborns down. Plus if you or Mr. Bernard was crushed, we would've come and get our ribs crushed no matter what the cost." Your brother said

"You know, maybe you should get a medal for saving our head staff here." Mr. Bernard chuckled

You and your brother both tried to chuckle but you both wince in pain.

"Don't laugh because it will hurt your ribs more. Now since you two are going to be at home for a few days, your friends can come and give you the homework." Mr. Alexander said

"Ok." You said

"Get well soon and also be careful." Mr. Bernard said

You along with your brother both nodded as your friends Jacobson, Butch, Brittany, and Sandra came as they all came inside as Jacobson hugged you gently as Sandra hugged your brother as you both tried to hug back but you both gently grunted a bit.

"Am I hugging you too tight Alpha?" Sandra asked

"No." Your brother said

"It just hurts." You said

"I know. Why did you allow yourselves to get hurt? You know how worried we are." Brittany said

"Guys and girls, if we didn't save Amanda and our principal, they would have been dead or crushed." Your brother said

"Plus do you think we would see our Alpha principal dead from crushing by a newborn? It would break our hearts." You said

"We do understand." Butch said

"Trust me, if we lose Amanda, then I would be crying in my room." Sandra said

"Besides that, both of you get better ok?" Samuel asked

"Sure thing Samuel." Your brother said

As your friends leave, some of your uncles came in which are Collin, Embry, Paul and Jacob as they each tell you and your brother to be better. As Collin, Paul, Embry and Jacob all leave as Jacob went home, Quil Ateara V came inside in his wolf form to which you didn't bother.

"Hey Uncle." You and your brother said

Quil came over to you as he put his wolf head on the top of your chest as you slowly smiled and pet him as Leah also came in her wolf form before nuzzling into your brother's chest.

"Hey auntie Leah." Your brother smiled

"Shouldn't you both be on your nighttime patrol?" You asked

"You shouldn't be hurt. Why? Why did you do that?" Quil Ateara V asked while whimpering

"Quil we have to save our friends." You said

"You know better than being crushed you two! You made us worried!" Leah said while growling

"Auntie Leah do not growl at us. We did what we can." Your brother said

Leah got off of your brother as Quil lick your cheek before they both leave as you look at your brother.

"Guess Leah is bitter about us." You said

"That or worried." Your brother said

Seth came in as he went over to you and your brother and got out a small chair and sit down.

"Leah was very worried. I think you two did the best that you can." Seth said

"Really Uncle Seth?" You asked

"I heard by thought and boy I was mad at those newborns. I wanted to pounce on one and rip his head clean off." Seth said

"So who is going to be with us?" Your brother asked

"Your dad, your mom, your uncle Jared and more importantly me." Seth said

"Shouldn't you be at home with your mommy too Uncle Seth?" You asked

"I told her that I have you two to take care of and she understood that." Seth said

"Well on the plus side is we got two fun uncles who will help us heal." Your brother said

"Hey aren't all of your uncles fun?" Seth chuckled

"Mm maybe." You said

"Anyways you two, your dad is definitely going to be very protective to make sure your ribs aren't broken." Seth chuckled

"So is mom I think." Your brother said

"Don't forget Uncle Jared." You said

After visiting all of your family, you and your brother both slowly begin to fall asleep as you both are going to be off for a few days to heal your bodies to be back to your normal self.

Paul Lahote:

You are in Billy's house wincing in so much pain because you have just protected Martha from a newborn vampire which resulted you getting crushed. Martha was horrified to see you crushed as she notified Jessica and Matilda through the link which caused both girls to be extremely angry at the newborn who crushed your ribs and came over to the house right away. Iris came over along with the other brood member Dawn as both girls look at you.

"Y/N, your ribs have healed but it's in very bad shape and out of place. I have no choice but to re-break your bones with Dawn's help." Iris said

"It's the only way so that way your body can heal properly." Dawn said

"Ok... it hurts." You winced

"You are going to scream a lot." Iris warned

"I know." You hissed

Dawn nodded as Iris cracked her knuckles and is ready to rebreak your bones. Outside of Billy's house, Paul is tensed as Jessica and Matilda came over as Billy looked at them.

"Hello girls." Billy Black said

"Hi." Jessica said

Just then your screams have come out as Paul flinched and teared up as Rachel bit her lower lip and whimpered as Jacob comforted her sister.

"How long is it going to be?" Matilda asked

"A while. They are re-breaking her bones." Embry said

"Y/N shouldn't have butt in like that." Martha muttered

"She saved your life." Collin said softly

"I handled it well! I should have taken the ribs crushing not our third-in-command!" Martha shouted

"Martha calm down." Brady said

"NO! Y/N have her ribs crushed thanks to that parasitic jerk!' Martha cried

"Jessica, take Martha home now. That's an order from me. I think this is way too much for her to handle." Sam said

"Ok. Come Martha." Jessica said

Martha got up with tears as Jessica along with Matilda bring her home as Iris came out along with Dawn as Paul stood up.

"The worst is over. She will pull through." Dawn said

"I have set up morphine to ease the pain but due to her body temperature, it may delay the effect. I just set up the drip." Iris said

Billy came over as Iris ignored the smell of blood as he looked at her.

"Thank you Iris." Billy Black said

"Paul, you can go see her. If anyone else like to go and see Y/N, one at a time or two." Dawn said

As Iris and Dawn went back to the ship to go back to Barrow, Alaska, Paul sniffed and wiped his tears before coming inside. He smell your scent as he saw you with bandages on your torso which is big as you are breathing slowly, looking at the ceiling. Paul went inside and you stared at him.

"H-Hey daddy." You winced

"Hey my third-in-command." Paul said

Paul came inside as you are about to sit up as you groaned as Paul placed his hand on your stomach.

"Lay down." Paul said

You slowly lay back down as Paul got a chair and begin to look at you.

"Why did you do that? Paul asked

"If I didn't do something, Martha would get her neck crushed or worse dead." You said

"I was worried about you. You know that?" Paul asked

"I can imagine. Sorry daddy." You said

"That's alright. You know you did give your friends quite a scare. Martha was crying to see you crushed and Jessica and Matilda wanted to go after the newborn who crushed you as a revenge plan but I told them I took care of that parasite." Paul said

"Yeah I saw. Are you mad at me for doing that?" You asked

"Well Sam was pretty ticked but as for me, no I am not." Paul said

You nodded as you then heard the sound of sniffling as you noticed that your dad is trying to stay strong, but you noticed tears streaming out of his face.

"D-Daddy... are you crying?" You gasped

"No... no I am not." Paul said

"Daddy don't cry." You said

"Sorry it's just... I saw you hurt and I don't want to see you hurt like this." Paul said

You nodded with understanding as Paul gave you a kiss on the forehead.

"Never pull something like that. Understand?" Paul asked

"Ok." You said

As Paul begin to leave, your mom came in neck as she carefully hugged you as you winced out a bit.

"Ooh sorry." Rachel said

"It's ok mommy." You said

"I heard what happened to you. How many days did they say?" Rachel asked

"A few days which means I will miss my days of school." You said

"I get you. Your teachers will give the homework to me." Rachel said

"Ok mom." You said

"Get well for me." Rachel said

You nodded as Jacob came with Billy Black who is in his wheelchair as Jacob look at you.

"You know that was very scary with what you did. You risk your life for a friend. Very brave of you to do that." Billy said

"Thank you grandpa." You said

"You know you made all of us worried there." Jacob said

"I know. Sorry Uncle Jacob." You said

"Also between you and me, you did a heroic thing of saving your best friend. I think you were very brave as a third-in-command." Jacob said

"Well thank you Uncle Jacob." You said

Jessica along with Matilda came in as they both rushed over to you and carefully hugged you as you slowly hugged back.

"Easy on Y/N girls." Billy chuckled

"Do you know how angry we were?" Jessica asked

"Yeah I can hear your thoughts clearly. Dad took care of the parasite for me." You said

"You risked your life for Martha. Why?" Matilda asked

"I don't want her dead." You said

"That's a good point but here's my question. Why would you do something so risky?" Jessica asked

"You see, I don't want my friend hurt. If Martha is crushed, our pack would be one girl down." You said

"She's got a point." Matilda said

"Get well soon my third-in-command and do not do anything stupid like that again otherwise I will kill you." Jessica said

"Hope it is a joke." You said

As Jessica and Martha leave, you see the rest of your uncles and aunts Emily and Leah coming in.

"I shouldn't have put you in this fight Y/N." Sam said

"Uncle Sam it's not your fault. I did all that I can to help my girl pack." You said

"Yeah and you risked your ribs which is crazy." Quil Ateara V said

Paul smacked Quil on the back of his head lightly as Brady look at you.

"So in the next few days, your ribs will be slowly healing." Brady said

"I know that." You said

"Why did you risk yourself in harms way?" Embry asked

"Because I have to save my friend that's why Uncle Embry." You said

"You should have been extra careful. Running after that tick, you could have been killed but you got the ribs broken." Leah said

"Listen Y/N, we love you and now that you got your ribs broken, it's going to be a slow process." Emily said

"I know. I can't be on patrol with my girl pack or you guys this time." You said

"Well that's good because you get to stay here for a few days." Billy said

"I will be bored." You pouted

"Well Rachel is going to stay with you and Paul is also staying with you along with Quil and Embry." Sam said

You let out a soft giggle but you winced as Paul kissed your forehead.

"Don't giggle Y/N." Paul said

"Anyways, get some sleep. Paul, Quil Ateara V and Embry, you got some healing helping to do." Sam said

"Looks like you got two of your fun uncles." Rachel chuckled

"Better than Uncle Bossy here. He would be on me every time." You said

Sam playfully rolls his eyes as Emily chuckled before they all leave as Quil along with Embry stayed with you along with your dad and Rachel which means you are going to have a few days to heal up to be back to your normal self.

Jared Cameron:

You along with your brother A/B/N are in Billy's house while wincing in so much pain because your body have been aching in pain. You both just protected your aunt Leah and your best friend Samson from getting crushed by newborns which resulted in you both getting hurt. Your uncle Jacob wasn't hurt as much as you both are wincing as Marlow came with his other member of the brood Daeron.

"I got some bad news. Your bones have been shattered from the crushing. It's your ribs and it is healed out of line. We have to re break your bones again to make sure it's healed properly." Daeron said

"Ahh... it hurts." Your brother A/B/N winced

"Owie.... It hurts so much." You said

"We know. You both are going to scream a lot. It's going to be a while." Marlow warned

You winced as you look at your brother A/B/N as you both held each other's hand as siblings as Marlow and Daeron came over to the both of you. Outside of the house, Samson came with his parents as your brother Y/B/N is pacing back and forth as Embry looked at them.

"Hey. Are they..." Samson said

Just then screams came out as your brother Y/B/N felt a bit tensed up as Jared started to flinch combined with tearing up.

"It's going to be a while." Your brother Y/B/N muttered

"They are re-breaking their bones to make it heal." Quil Ateara V said

"Why did she have to butt in? I had that tick." Leah said

"She saved you. Just give it a rest!" Paul said

The screams then stopped as Daeron along with Marlow came out of the house as Jared got up as your brother looked at them.

"The worst is over. They will be alright." Daeron said

Jared noticed that you are about to sit yourself up as his father instincts came as he placed his hand on your back and chest.

"Lay down Y/N.... Please." Jared said

Your brother Y/B/N came over and look at you and your brother A/B/N as you lay down and look at both your dad and your brother Y/B/N.

"Are you two, ok?" Your brother Y/B/N asked

"Yeah... just in pain." You said

Jared set up a chair as your brother A/B/N breathed and winced in pain.

"Why.... Why did you have to do that?" Jared asked

"If we didn't do something, Leah and Samson would end up with broken ribs or way worse." Your brother A/B/N said

"You've gotten us worried especially your brother." Jared said

"We can imagine that." You said

"Sorry daddy." Your brother A/B/N said

"You know, you did do something heroic." Your brother Y/B/N said

"Yeah I know. We may be broken for a few days which means you'll be at school by yourself." Your brother A/B/N said

"Y/B/N, go outside please. Sam is going to bring you home ok?" Jared asked

"Ok. Get well soon ok?" Your brother Y/B/N asked

"Thank you." You and your brother A/B/N said

As Sam bring your brother Y/B/N to get some sleep, you and your brother A/B/N both then heard some sniffling as you both saw something that you both have never seen before which is your dad is literally crying. You both have never heard your dad cry which made you both shock.

"Dad..." Your brother A/B/N gasped

"ARE YOU CRYING?!!!!!!" You gasped

"N-No I'm not." Jared said while wiping his tears

"Dad don't cry." You said

"It's just... you both are hurt again." Jared said

"We know." You said

"Never pull something like that. Do you understand?" Jared asked

"We understand dad." You and your brother A/B/N said

As Jared leaves, your mom came along with Samson and his parents as Samson's mom is in her 40s with long silver hair and the same-colored eyes as Samson as Samson's dad is around 37 years old with blue eyes and short black hair as they both wore Native clothes.

"Hey Y/N and A/B/N." Samson said

"Samson." You smiled

"Hey buddy." Your brother A/B/N smiled

"Hey you two. I just want to say thank you for saving me." Samson said

"You know we have to." Your brother A/B/N said

"You two are heroes for saving him. If you didn't save him, who knows what will happen." Samson's dad said

"Thank you." Your brother A/B/N said

"So get well you two." Samson's mom smiled

Kim came over to the both of you as she look at the torso and look at the both of you.

"I heard what happened." Kim said

"Yeah we are crushed." You said

"Plus you did save Leah, Jacob and Samson from being crushed but that's still good." Kim said

"Mom, are you going stay with us?" Your brother A/B/N asked

"Well I have school to do but don't worry, your dad is staying with you." Kim said

"Ok." You and your brother A/B/N said

"Don't pull that stunt again. No children of mine will be hurt." Kim said

You and your brother A/B/N both nodded as Kim kissed both of your heads before leaving as Nicole and Alexa came before coming to you and your brother A/B/N before sitting down on a chair.

"We heard what happened." Nicole said

"You saved Samson. That's bravery right there." Alexa said

"If I haven't saved him, he would be dead on the spot." Your brother A/B/N said

"Yeah we would lose our best spunky friend." Nicole said

"True." You said

"We do wanted to go after those newborns who harmed you Alpha." Alexa said

"Dad along with my uncles take care of that already." You said

"Please get well." Alexa and Nicole said

As your uncles Brady, Paul, and Sam came in, Paul came in with some soup which is tomato as you and your brother both look at him.

"Hey my niece and my nephew A/B/N. I got some tomato soup." Paul said

"Thanks." You and your brother said

As Brady sit close to you, he begin to feed you the soup as you slowly swallowed it as Paul also fed your brother A/B/N since they don't want to see you hungry. Once you are finished eating, they all look at you.

"I shouldn't have put you in the fight." Sam said

"No need to be ashamed Uncle Sam." You said

"Yeah we did what we could have done. If we didn't save our family, then Leah would be crushed along with Uncle Jacob." Your brother A/B/N said

"Get well my little niece and nephew." Brady said

"Thank you Uncle Brady." You and your brother A/B/N said

As Paul and Brady both leave, Sam came over to the both of you and sit in between you two and sighed.

"What's wrong Uncle Sam?" You asked

"You know you two should've been extra careful with the way you both handle the newborns. Risking yourselves instead of your friends and family is a big step but I am a bit shocked with what you did." Sam said

"Uncle Sam is that why you are feeling a bit angry?" Your brother A/B/N asked

"Yes but I am not mad at you. I am mad at the newborns who crushed you. I am a bit disappointed with what the turnout is. So I am going to be with you." Sam said

"Oh no..." You and your brother A/B/N said

You both heard some snickering as you both know that your dad is laughing.

"Dad it's not funny." You whined

"It is funny because you got protective Uncle Alpha here." Jared said

"He's going to boss us around." Your brother A/B/N whined

"No he's not. He's going to keep you both protected and make sure you heal." Billy Black chuckled

"Can we take dad to make us heal instead?" You and your brother A/B/N whined

Sam chuckled a bit before kissing both of your foreheads before leaving as Seth came in along with his sister Leah as you along with your brother A/B/N look at her.

"Hey Auntie Leah and Uncle Seth." You and your brother A/B/N said

"Hey my niece and nephew. Are you both ok?" Seth asked

"We are in pain but we are ok." You said

"Yeah we are good." Your brother A/B/N said

"Y/N I am not mad but I handled that tick." Leah said

"Auntie Leah, I know you got it on your own but don't beat yourself up too much." You said

"Yeah my sister saved your wolf behind from being crushed." Your brother A/B/N said

"Maybe you deserve a medal for doing this." Seth said

"Thanks." You and your brother A/B/N said

After having a nice visit from Quil Ateara V and Embry, Billy Black came with some help from Rachel Black as you along with your brother look at Billy.

"Hey Billy." You and your brother A/B/N said

"Are you both ok?" Billy Black asked

"We are in pain but we are fine." You said

"I can imagine. You know you both are brave." Billy said

"Thanks." Your brother A/B/N said

"No problem. Now Jared is going to be with you along with Sam and Jacob too since he is in the other room." Billy said

"Oh well. At least we have a fun dad and a fun uncle." You said

"You think Jacob is fun huh?" Billy Black chuckled

"He is. All of our uncles are fun except Uncle Sam." Your brother A/B/N said

"Sam does have a tough and protective persona but he is caring." Billy said

"Well he is caring but he is very bossy." You said

"Between you and me, he can be bossy to his friends." Billy chuckled

You and your brother A/B/N tried to giggle but instead you both snickered a bit as Jared chuckled.

"Now get well you two and you better listen to your dad and your uncle Sam." Billy said

"Oh we will." You and your brother A/B/N said

As Rachel pulled Billy Black out of the room, you and your brother A/B/N both slowly fall asleep as you both are going to have a lot of healing to be back to your normal selves.

Embry Call:

You are in Billy's house while wincing in so much pain as your whole entire body hurts so much. You just saved your best friend Benjamin from getting crushed by the newborn which resulted in you being hurt. David and Dwayne came over as you winced more.

"Y/N, your bones have healed out of line. I have to re-break them. Dwayne is going to assist me through it." David said

"I-It hurts." You winced

"Y/N... you are going to feel a lot of pain." Dwayne said

Outside of the house, your dad is there along with the rest of the pack as your friends Scarlett, Benjamin, Johnny and Quintin are outside as their parents came over as Benjamin's mom comforted her son.

"Hey my boy." Benjamin's mom said

Just then, they heard the sound of your painful screams as David along with Dwayne, re-break your bones as Quintin started to gasp as your dad teared up from hearing those painful screams you brought out.

"Dwayne and David are re-breaking her bones. It's going to be a while." Quil Ateara V said

"She shouldn't have saved me. I got that parasite." Benjamin said softly

"Ben she saved you." Benjamin's mom said

"She shouldn't have pulled something to harm herself in the process mom!" Benjamin said

"Ben.... Don't argue with her like that." Scarlett said

Embry tears up as your screams are so loud that it even made some of your uncles breathed slowly and even your aunts flinched. Sam noticed the tears along with Brady and Paul as they came over to your dad and comfort him.

"She couldn't get herself hurt. She couldn't..." Embry said while tearing up

"I know Embry, I know. But she's going to pull through. She's tough, she'll stick it out." Sam said

"We're worried about her too. But it's going to be okay. They're taking care of her." Brady said while rubbing Embry's back

Dwayne and David both came out of the house as they both look at your friends and your family.

"The worst is over. She is going to be alright." David said

"We have set up some morphine to ease the pain but due to her body temperature it won't take effect. So we just up a drip." Dwayne said

David came over along with Dwayne as he look at your dad.

"She's a tough cookie." Dwayne said

"Can I see her?" Embry asked

"Me too." Quintin said

"If you all want to see her, one at a time." Dwayne said

Embry got up and begin to go to the room as he can smell your scent as he noticed you in bandages which are big across your torso and even shirtless. Embry came over inside as he saw a bowl of soup for you which happened to a warm chicken noodle soup. He knows that David made it for you just in case if you are hungry as you look at your dad and tried to sit up and hissed in pain while you're doing it. Embry placed his hands on your chest and back.

"Lay down." Embry said

You slowly lay back down as Embry begin to take the bowl of soup and carefully feed you with it as you take a sip of the yummy soup before he put it on the side before looking at you.

"Why did you have to do that?" Embry asked

"If I haven't done anything, then Ben would've gotten broken ribs, a broken neck or worse." You said

"I'm so sorry my little wolf cub. I should've stopped this." Embry said

"Daddy it's not your fault. I saved Ben and he needs to be saved." You said

"You caused yourself to be hurt Y/N. So I am going to stay with you understand?" Embry asked

"Ok daddy." You said

As Embry kissed your forehead, Quintin came inside as he went over to you and look at you.

"You saved Ben." Quintin said

"I don't want to see him hurt Quintin." You said

"This is all my fault. I should have saved you buddy." Quintin said

"Hey hey hey. It's not your fault. I took the hit for my friend." You said

"Really?" Quintin asked

"Trust me, if he got killed on the spot, then I would be heartbroken along with your friends." You said

Quintin nodded as you tried to sit up as you grunted as Quintin looked at you.

"Maybe it's best for you not to do that Beta." Quintin said

"Ok." You said

"The rest of the pack are coming to see you and Scarlett is very." Quintin said

"Mad?" You asked

"No. Just shocked." Quintin said

You nodded as Quintin is about to give you a kiss on your forehead, but Collin came and placed his head in between as Quintin pulled away and you snickered quietly.

"Aww come on. He's about to kiss my forehead." You said

"No kissing on Y/N here." Collin said

Quintin makes a little pout as you let out a playful pout as Scarlett went inside along with Susie as you slowly smiled at them.

"Alpha and my third in command. Hey." You said

"I heard what happened and why? Why did you have to do that?" Susie asked

"If I haven't saved Ben, then he would be crushed." You said

"You had all of us worried you know?" Scarlett asked

"I can imagine. I am sorry my Alpha." You said

"Hey I'm not mad at you at all. I want to say thanks for saving Ben. Besides we would lose one boy down to make our pack uneven." Scarlett said

"No problem Alpha." You said

"I heard you kick butt with our pack. At least you are ok." Susie said

Scarlett gave you a pat on the head as Susie gave you a gentle hug before leaving as Brady came along with Leah and Paul as you look at them.

"Hey my uncles and auntie Leah." You said

"Hey my little niece. How are you feeling?" Paul asked

"In pain." You said

Brady sits down along with Paul as Leah carefully fed you the rest of the soup as you swallow it carefully.

"This was never supposed to happen." Paul said

"Why Uncle Paul?" You asked

"Y/N, you are a kid and 8 years old. You made us all worried." Paul said

"I know." You said

"I'm so sorry, Y/N." Brady said

"No need to apologize Uncle Brady. I have to save my friend Benjamin from being crushed. Trust me, I will do that over a thousand times if I see my friends or one of you guys crushed." You said

"You do know you have to be off from school right?" Brady asked

"Yeah but daddy may give me the homework along with my friends." You said

As Brady and Paul left, Leah looked at you as she brought the bowl into the kitchen before coming back over to you.

"I should have looked out for you better Y/N." Leah said

"Auntie.." You said

"You are crushed Y/N. Do you know how much we worry to see you hurt by that tick? You got broken ribs caused by that tick." Leah said

"Yeah I know how worried you are Auntie but hey... at least I saved someone. If I was crushed again, I'd bet you would come faster than daddy." You said

Leah chuckled before she kissed your cheek and nose as she patted your head before leaving as Quil Ateara V, Collin, and Jacob Black came inside which made you slowly smile at them.

"There's my little hero. Are you ok?" Quil Ateara V asked

"In pain but I'm alright." You said

"You know, we should have keep you close in this fight." Jacob said

"I know and you are busy. Luckily we kick some vampire butt." You said

"Now you are hurt with broken ribs." Collin said

"I know and the re-breaking process hurts. Every bone they break, it feels like." You said

"Feels like you are being in an accident?" Jacob asked

"Yes Uncle Jacob." You nodded

"Well you have your dad to be here for a few days with you. That's something to be happy about." Collin said

"Yeah and I know daddy will be careful of me." You said

"By the way, your ole friend Johnny is here." Jacob said

"Great. Send him in please." You said

"Get well and Embry will tell you who is staying." Jacob said

You nodded as Johnny came inside and noticed your torso being before leaning down and patted your head.

"You're sweating." Johnny said

"I'm not hot. I'm just in pain." You said

"Luckily the morphine drip is going through you. Listen Y/N, my best beta friend. You got me scared too." Johnny said

"That's alright my beta friend. Get well and also, be careful next time." Johnny said

You nodded with a warm as Johnny gave you a careful fist bump before leaving as the rest of the pack are outside. While the pack is talking, Benjamin came inside as Benjamin's mom know that he is going to see you. As you are taking a deep breath, you winced a bit and grunted in agony as Benjamin came inside.

"Ben, hey." You said

"Hey... how are you feeling?" Benjamin asked

"In pain since I saved your life from being crushed." You said

"Look Y/N, I would never be able to live it down if someone saw me here, but I came because I wanted to say that I'm sorry you got hurt and thank you." Benjamin said

"It's not your fault Ben. If I haven't saved your life, you would have been crushed by the newborn. Don't be guilty." You said

"Get well and Y/N again, thank you for saving me." Benjamin said

"Hey it's what packs do. We look out for each other. Maybe when you are older, you can find someone to protect you." You said

"Pssh, you got your 'boyfriend' Quintin." Benjamin laughed

You let out a little smile because Benjamin is just teasing you for fun.

"Bye Ben and I know you are teasing me." You said

Benjamin chuckled as Sam came inside with Emily as Emily went over to your right arm and carefully lift it as you grunted.

"Ah." You moaned in pain

"Your right arm just needed to be lifted a little bit. My baby girl." Emily said

"Auntie Em thank you for being so concerned." You said

"My poor niece. I shouldn't have let you be in this fight." Sam said

"Uncle Sam, if I haven't been in this fight, then my friends would be crushed or worse." You said

"Scarlett is more skilled just like you." Emily said

"She is smart but she is very nice." You said

"I can see that. Now about the ribs crushing, you." Sam said

"I have to be at here for a few days I know. Daddy is going to give me the homework if I am able to get up that is." You said

"Best for you to lay down. You can answer any question and maybe you can bring your friends to help you." Emily said

"Embry will tell you who is going to stay with you." Sam said

"I hope it's Paul or maybe Collin." You said

Sam let out a little chuckle before leaving with Emily. After with Billy's visit, you begin to breathe slowly as Embry came in as you smiled at him.

"Hey. So guess who is staying with you for a few days. First it's me." Embry said

"I know it's you daddy." You smiled

"Quintin..." Embry said

"Ooh Quintin you got some helping to do." Scarlett cooed

"But he will only come in the afternoon not in the morning." Embry said

"Ehh at least I have him to come over." You said

"He will help you with only your homework delivery. That's it." Embry said

"Ok I get that. Who else?" You asked

"And Sam Uley." Embry chuckled

You started to feel extremely embarrassed as you cover your face with your left hand and groaned.

"Oh dear god. Can I have an uncle who is not too bossy and overprotective?" You whined

"No Y/N. Sam is going to stay with you and you have to deal with it." Embry chuckled

"Ugh!!!" You whined

"As for you Quintin, no kissing my niece and more importantly, only deliver the homework. I don't want you to flirt with her." Sam said

"Bossy bossy bossy! Can I have my aunties instead?" You whined

Embry chuckled as Quintin pouted a bit as you are going to have a few days to be back to your normal self but you are going to be embarrassed to have Sam Uley on your friend Quintin. This is going to be a long few days for you to heal up.

Quil Ateara V:

You and your sister are both in Billy's house wincing in agonizing pain because during the battle, you both saved your two best friends Justin and Lila from being crushed by the newborn vampires which caused you both to be hurt in the process. You both are now whimpering in pain as Daeron came inside with Archibald as Daeron came over to you and Archibald came over to your sister.

"Well girls, I got good news and bad news. The good news is that your ribs are healed." Daeron said

"But the bad news is that it is out of place and out of shape so we have to re-break them to make sure your ribs can be healed properly." Archibald said

"It hurts." You and your sister said

Archibald came over to you as Daeron came over to your sister as they both look at you.

"Now girls... you are going to scream. A lot." Archibald warned

"Plus you are going to be in a lot of pain." Daeron said

Meanwhile outside of the house, Quil Ateara V is outside with your family as Justin and Lila are both still shocked as Britt along with Lucas come over to your family and their packmates.

"Hey." Britt said

"We heard..." Lucas said

Just then screams came from you and your sister as some of your uncles flinched as Quil Ateara V started to shake and tear up.

"They are going to be there for a while." Brady said

"They are rebreaking their bones to make sure it heals." Paul said

"Why did they have to butt in? We had those ticks!" Justin said

"They saved you Justin." Britt said

"NO! If these girls should go on patrol, this would never happen!!! Our two girls are injured because of...." Lila said

"Lila!" Britt said sternly

Lila stayed silent as Sam look at Britt.

"You can take her home Britt. I think this is so much." Sam said

"Understandable. Come Lila and Justin, if you want to go home, you can." Britt said

Justin nodded as the screams have continued as Quil shakes more as Embry comforted him gently.

"It's ok Quil." Embry said

"They couldn't get hurt... they promised." Quil Ateara V said

"Shh shh it's ok. They are tough little girls." Embry said

"We are worried about them as well and they are giving Y/N and Y/S/N the best care possible." Brady said

"They will pull through Quil Ateara V besides, they are tough on the outside but they are still sweet on the inside." Sam said

The screams then stopped as Daeron along with Archibald both come out of the house.

"The worse is over. They will be alright. I have set up some morphine to ease the pain but due to their body temperatures, it won't go into effect." Archibald said

"So Archi and I set up a drip." Daeron said

"So if anyone wanted to go see them, go ahead." Archibald said

Your dad got up as he went inside and begin to smell both of you and your sister's scent as he sees you both in a room with bandages on your torsos, sweating because of the pain. You and your sister both look to see your dad as he came over.

"Daddy." You and your sister smiled

"Don't sit up." Quil Ateara V said

Your dad then got a chair and sit between the two of you as he kissed your head and then your sister's head.

"Girls why? Why did you do that?" Quil Ateara V asked

"If we didn't do something then Lila and Justin can get the broken ribs." You said

"Or even worse." Your sister said

"I was worried about the two of you." Quil Ateara V said

"We are sorry daddy." You and your sister said

"No need to apologize. You girls got a tough yet sweet personality, kinda like me." Quil Ateara V said

You and your sister both slowly smiled until you both heard sniffling as you both see your dad started to cry softly which made you both shock.

"Dad..." You gasped

"A-Are you crying?!!!" Your sister gasped

"I wish... I wish I should have kept you away from those parasites." Quil Ateara V cried

"Don't cry daddy." You said

"We love you. Don't be sad." Your sister said

"I know... I know." Quil Ateara V said

You tried to reach out for a tissue but Billy came in by the wheelchair and gave it to Quil and gently patted his back as Quil Ateara V wiped his tears.

"Please don't pull that again." Quil Ateara V said

"We promise." You and your sister said

As Quil got up to allow the other family members to see you, Justin came along with Britt and Lucas as you both look at them.

"If it isn't our packmates." You said

"Yes and if it isn't our third in command and wolf helper who saved our friend's lives." Britt said

"How are you girls?" Lucas asked

"We are in pain that's for sure." Your sister said

"You scared your daddy to death there but besides that, thank you for saving my life." Justin said

"Anything for a packmate." You said

"Why would you hurt yourself in the process? You made me and Lucas pretty angry. We could've gone after those newborns who crushed you two." Britt said

"Daddy along with my uncles took care of them. No worries." Your sister said

"We want you both to feel better ok? Please don't do that again." Lucas said

"We promise." You and your sister said

Britt came over to you and was about to kiss your forehead as Lucas patted your sister's head while Justin gave her a hug until Brady along with Embry both noticed Britt.

"Oh Y/N, aren't you not supposed to receive a smooch from a boy?" Brady asked

"It's just a forehead kiss Uncle Brady." You said

"Sam is going to smell that from a mile away." Embry chuckled

"It will be quick." Your sister groaned

"Fine but Sam will smell boy kisses from a mile away." Brady said

As Britt kissed your forehead quickly, your friends left as Brady came inside along with Embry and they both look at you and your sister.

"We should have kept you safe from those parasites." Embry said

"It's ok Uncle Embry. We are going to heal slowly." You said

"You both are going to be here for a few days." Brady said

"We know. Can you notify our grandma and grandpa for me?" Your sister asked

"Your dad is talking to them about what happened. As for you two, please do not harm yourselves again." Embry said

After being visited from your auntie Leah and your uncle Seth, Paul came along with Jared as they both have some warm vegetable soup.

"Hello my nieces. We got you some soup." Paul said

"Thank you, Uncle Paul and Uncle Jared." You and your sister said

"You got all of us worried there. Why did you hurt yourselves?" Jared asked

"We have to save our friends Justin and Lila. They were about to be crushed." Your sister said

"Plus, we don't want them to be hurt." You said

"You know, that's very brave with what you did there. Maybe you both need a medal." Paul said

"We wish." Your sister said

"Anyways, are you both hungry?" Jared asked

"Yes." You and your sister nodded

As Jared and Paul feed you both the soup carefully, you both swallow the soup and Paul kissed your cheek as Jared kissed your forehead.

"Your dad will tell who is staying with you." Jared said

As Paul and Jared both leave, Jacob came as he begin to sit in between you and your sister as you both look at Jacob.

"You two are brave." Jacob said

"You really think so?" You asked

"Yes. I mean the way you both risked your own lives to save your friends, that's bravery right there." Jacob said

"Thank you, Uncle Jacob." You and your sister smiled

"No problem. Get well for me." Jacob said

As Emily came with Sam, Emily look at the both of you as you both slowly smile at Emily.

"Hey Auntie Em." You and your sister smiled

Sam felt a bit tensed as Emily sit in between the both of you.

"Girls, you made all of us worried including your dad." Emily said

"We know Auntie and we feel a little guilty about it." You said

"Why did you allow yourselves to do something so risky?" Sam asked

"Uncle Sam... we have done this because we can't allow our friends to be crushed." You said

"If we haven't saved them, they would be worse than crushed." Your sister said

"You two should avoid the risk. As your uncle, I can't allow you both to do something risky as this." Sam said

"Oh and Y/N, did Britt came? He was really worried and scared." Emily said

"Babe." Sam chuckled

"Yes auntie Em, he was worried and he wanted me to get better." You said

"So you both are going to be here for a few days. Your grandparents Old Quil and Joy will visit you one of those days." Emily said

"We know." Your sister said

"Also girls... did I sense the hugging and kissing from boys?" Sam asked

"Oh god..." You and your sister whined

"When Quil Ateara V decides, I will keep an eye on you." Sam said

Emily giggled and gave you and your sister a gentle kiss on the cheek before leaving. You and your sister both breathe slowly while wincing a bit as your dad came back.

"So girls, let me tell you who is going to stay with you. First it's me..." Quil Ateara V said

"Of course, you are staying with us." You said

"You are our dad after all." Your sister said

"Auntie Leah Clearwater." Quil Ateara V said

"Yay... we get our fun auntie." You smiled

"My grandfather and mom." Quil Ateara V said

"Of course our grandparents." Your sister giggled

You also joined the giggling as you both winced again as Quil Ateara V look at you.

"Maybe it's better not to laugh. Now I got two uncles to be with the both of you. One is Uncle Jared." Quil Ateara V said

"Yay. We got one uncle who is awesome." You smiled

"Finally Uncle Sam." Quil Ateara V said

"Oh GOD!!!!!!" You and your sister whined

You and your sister both blushed with embarrassment before looking away as Quil Ateara V let out a chuckle, knowing that you both don't want Sam to be the overly protective uncle that he is and he knows how tough and caring when it comes to you two.

"Can we have one of our friends instead?" You asked

"Yeah like Lila, Britt, Lucas or Justin?" Your sister whined

"Lila will come but she can come in the afternoon for delivering homework and helping you both out." Quil Ateara V said

"Why can't we have our guys to help?" You and your sister whined

"Because I will know if I see any of them giving you two a hug or a kiss. No boys!" Sam said

"Ugh!!!" You and your sister pouted

Quil Ateara V chuckled as you both are going to have a few days to heal but you are also going to be embarrassed that Sam is going to be there to keep a very close eye on you. You both are going to have a long week of healing to do.
