Sarika hung up the phone without informing him.

P: hello, sarika..sarika..

He realised, she hung up. He brought the phone infront of his face and pouted clenching his teeth.

P: Tum chahe jitna mujhse door jao sarika. Main pata laga k rahunga ki tumhare is behaviour ka reason kya hai. Tumhari majburi humare alag hone ki wajah nahi banegi sarika.

As sanyu reached the room lost in her world, she quickly turned herselft towards other side and wiped out all her tears. She turned towards her and pouted.

Sa: bhabhi why are you lost?
S: nothing. Just rd..(but she noticed her red eyes) what happened bacha? Are you okey?

Sa: ha_an mu_jhe kya hoga?(she grinned hiding vision for rescue)
S: tu ro rahi thi?

Sa: nahi bhabhi. Ap so jao.
S: tu mujhe bataa sakti hai bacha.

Sa: bhabhi wo.. wo parth(and she recalled something)
Sa(in mind): nahi main apni wajah se parth ki life waste nahi kar sakti.

S: kya hua bacha?
Sa: wo bhabhi parth ka phone aaya tha. Ap to jaante ho na ki he feels for me, wo ro raha tha to mujhe bhi rona aa gaya. I..(shied out)..I dont love him bhabhi par wo achha hai. Isliye.

S: zyada mat soch. If you dont feel, its ok.(she hugged her and messaged her back as well as hairs)
Sa(in mind): kya kahun bhabhi I feel but cant show. I am sorry parth, tumhare aansuon ka sole reason main hun.

They both slept. At mid night, sanyu woke up caughing. She searched for water but the jug was empty.

S(mumbled): uff ye laxmi bhi na pani rakhna bhul gayi shaayad.

She headed towards kitchen to bring water. She opened the tap and filled the jug, then closed the tap. She was returning, just then she heard the water tapping again. She went and paused it again. She again headed to closed it. She stepped slowly in a state of terror. At the very moment, the ghost appeared showing her terrible red teeth and extra white orbs. She expanded her signature terrifying laugh. Sanyu widened her eyes and stepped back.

V: haa haa haa haa.. Kaha tha na maine tu kuch nahi kar sakti. Rd sirf mera hai.

Some came into sense hearing her voice.

S: tum jitna pressure daal k kaho, jhut sach me nahi badalne waala. I challenge you agle ek hafte me rd mere saath hoga.
V: haa haa haa haa.. Aisa kabhi nahi hoga aur ho bhi gaya to wo tab tak hoga jab tak main uske saath kuch na kar dun. Haa haa haa haa...

S: wo to time hi batayega ki ek patni jithti hai ya ek rakhel(ladies who keep affairs with married men).
V: yaaah..(she got irritated)

A knife came flying and slid in sanyu's left arm. She got terribly injured and blood started flowing continuously.

S: aaahh(she winched). Hahahaha(she grinned evily). Chu chu chubh gayi baat. Bahat shauk tha na tumhe marne se pehle ki tum mere husband ki baahon me ek raat bitao, to ek shauk aur paalo, agar main tumhari hi aankhon k saamne apne pati ki baahon me rehkar unhe kiss nahi kiya na to mera bhi naam "Sanyukta RSS" nahi.(she stretched her name)

The ghost got more ittitated and again signalled a utensil. It came and straightly hit sanyu's mouth. Her lip cornors dug into her canons and again blood streamed out.

V: haa haa haa haa.. Yahi hoga tera mere rd ko haath lagane se pehle.

Sanyu stared at her with strands hairs on face and then the ghost disappeared. Whe sanyu's sight fell on the running tap, it was automatically blocked.

S: main mar bhi gayi na vid, mere rd ko tumse chhudakar marungi. Chahe jo bhi ho jaaye is ek hafte me main mere rd ko har jail ze nikaal kar rahungi. Aaaah(she said chutching her arm and clenching her teeth)

Sarika came running and found the whole area dark. She switched on ths light and found sanyu bleeding.

Sa: bhabhi. Ye kya hua apko. Firse? Ab to main use chhodungi nahi.
S: sarika rehne de, wo ek soul hai hum uska kuch nahi bigaad sakte.

Sa: par bhabhi apki condition.
S: main thik hun bacha. Abhi ise first aid kar deti hun subah hospital me stitches le lungi. Tu zara ye jug le le.

Sa: par bhabhi jug full tha ap niche kyun aaye?
S: nahi bacha jug khali tha aur glass bhi.

Sa: bhabhi maine khud dekha tha raat ko.
S: please bacha chal room me. Mera haath bahat pain ho raha hai.

Next Morning...

Sanyu woke up and found her hand still bleeding. She winched in pain and clutched her arm. Sarika woke up hearing her voice.

Sa: bhabhi bleeding abhi bhi ho rahi hai. Ap jaldi se fresh ho jao hum pehle hospital chalenge. Stitches lagne zaruri hein.

As sanyu went for bath, sarika found her feet wet.

Sa: ye kya hai? Paani. Jug se gir gaya hoga. Tabhi bhabhi keh rahi thi.ki jug khali tha. Par agar jug gir gaya tha to mujhe sunai kyun nahi diya. Itni gehri nind me to nahi thi main. Uff. Jo bhi ho abhi bhabhi ko hospital le jaana zyada imp hai. Laxmi.(she called out maid) ye paani saaf karo.

Both got fresh n up and reached hospital. There sanyu's arms were stitched.

Dr: Mrs. Shekhawat, take a glass of juice apka bahat blood waste ho chuka hai.

Sarika made her drink it. Meanwhile sanyu's phone buzzed.

S: sarika please check kar zara.
Sa: bhabhi parth.

S: speaker pe daal.(she followed her) haan parth.
P: sanyukta kya tum mere saath frazer town chal sakti ho?

S: frazer town? Matlab vd sir k paas?
P: nahi nahi. Ek school hai wahaan. Kuch evidence collect karna hai.

S: actually parth, main hospital me hun.
P: kya hua? Is everything okey?

S: haan bas wo mera haath kal door pe lag gaya to kat gaya. Cut deep tha to stitched lene pade.
P: you should take care sanyukta.

S: yeah I will. Tum jiggy ya parth ko kyun nahi le jaate?
P: actually maine unhe wo sahil k paas bheja hai wo vid k kuch special contacts aur uski meeting spots k baare me pataa lagane. Koi baat nahi I will manage.

S: tum sarika ko saath le jao.
Sa: bhabhi main?

S: rd k liye bacha and parth k saath tum safe rahogi.
Sa: bhabhi aise apko chhod k.

S: I will be fine bacha. Its okey. Is waqt rd zyada imp hai. Parth will need your help.
P: sanyukta, tum mere ghar pe chali jao. Maa hein wahaan.

S: tumhare ghar?
P: haan. Mere ghar. Main maa se baat kar leta hun. Aur koi argument nahi karogi tum. Sarika tum sanyukta ko mere ghar leke pahuncho. I will be there in few minutes.
Sa: okey.

As per plan, sarika dropped sanyu at parth's house. Parth's mom greeted both and they touched her feet.(banta hai yar saas hai :p ). She concerned for sanyu. Both took a seat.

S: sorry bacha. I know tere kiye difficult hai par kya karun abhi is chiz ko ignore karna padega. Main jaanti hun thodi selfish ho rahi hoon lekin. . .
Sa: bhabhi wo mere bhi bhai hein. Is waqt meri feelings se zyada unki life important hai. I will take care dont worry.

Meamwhile parth came and his orbs stuck on sarika. They gazed each other intensely, which was unhidden by sanyu. She squeezed her shoulder and their eyes got detatched. She blinked her consilingly, nodded her head and rubbed her back. She too blicked and clutched her hand.

P: aaa...bb maa sanyu ko stitches lage hein. Uski medicines de dijiyega please.
Mom: tu chinta mat kar beta main iska dhyaan rakhungi.

Sa: thank you aunty. Hum chalte hein.
P(in mind): bahut jald ye tumhari bhi maa hongi sarika, I promise.

Parika left waving a bye to sanyu.

Sa: parth, jaane se pehle ye bata hun ki hum sirf kaam k baare me baat karenge, humare baare me nahi.
P: dont worry, main dhyaan rakhunga har tarah se I promise.

And again their eyes got latched for a long eyelock.

As she found both thrir eyes well up to be flown at any moment, she broke the eyelock.

Sa: aaa..chalen?
P: hmm..

They both headed towards frazer town.

During the whole journey, parika did not exchange a single word. Finally they reached their destination, St. Germain high School. Both entered the principal room.

Sa: hello mam.
PR: yes..

Sa: mam, kya hum R. Laxmi Venkatraman se mil sakte hein.
PR: ap kaun?

P: g hum bachi me mama mami hein.(sarika stared him furiously)
Sa: actually wo apni notebook humare ghar bhul gayi thi to humne socha ki hum use return kar den.

PR: ap unke ghar bhi to jaa sakte the.
P: haan mam par hum yahaan nahi rehte. Socha school time hai usse mil k chale jaayenge.

PR: par wo to do saal pehle hi school chhod k chali gayi.
Sa: chali gayi.. Kyun? Aaa.. I mean ki bhabhi ne hume bataya nahi usne school change kar diya. Warna hum yahaan aate hi nahi.
P: haan. Sorry for inconvinience.

Both stepped out of the cabin.

P: uske school na sahi ghar to jaa hi sakte hein.
Sa: lekin uske liye address bhi to chahiye. Par address milega kahan se?

P: school k purane record se.
Sa: aur wo hai principal cabin me lekin jab tak ye yahaan rahegi hum dhundenge kaise?

P: isko yahaan se nikaalna to padega.
Sa: par kaise?

P: hmm(he hummed rubbing his chin through hid index finger)heyy suno.(to a peon)

He handed him a 1000/- note and signalled something.

Sa: kya kaha tumne usse?
P: chup chap chhup jao.(hidding in a class room)

There the peon reached. As it was lunch time, children were playing. The peon hit one of the childs head. He confusingly glared here n there only another child was playing there. He ignored. Once again he hit and again he ignored. When it was for third time, they started fighting. The peon went and called the principal to solve this.

When she stepped out, parika entered and found the address. When they were tearing the sheet, they heard some footsteps. As soon as possible, they stepped out of the window and shied a relief.

Somehow they took an exit from school and reached there. When they headed towards the house, they found it locked.

P: shit, ye to band hai. Itni mehnat bekar ho gayi.
Sa: 1 min. Aunty ap janti hein ye kahan gaye hein(to a woman)

W: ye to chale gaye do saal pehle.
Sa: chale gaye? Par kahan?

W: chennai?
Sa: kya ap unka phone no de sakti hein.

W: phone no to nahi hai.
Sa: ap unki neighbour hein na. Kuch to pata hoga apko?

W: umm.. Haan address hai shaayad. Mere bete k dost hein wo to ek bar diya tha. Main leke aati hun.

She drove into the house and parth reached sarika.

P: kya hua?
Sa: chennai gaye hein wo log. Wo aunty address lene gayi hai.

P: mil bhi gaya to kya kar lenge.
Sa: jaayenge.

P: what? Tumhe pata hai na kal hearing hai.
W: ye lo beta.(giving the address)

P: ab kya? Matlab kal tak kuch nahi hone waala.
Sa: ek chiz ho sakti hai. Wo vd sir k assistant se puchho ki processing kya hai.
P: ye sahi rahega.

He called yoyo.

P: yoyo kuch pataa chala?
Y: ji paji char logon se frequent meetings thi iski. Baaki sab se hum mil chuke hein, kuch khas pata nahi chala. Is iyer naam k bande se milne to aaye hein par abhi tak mila nahi. Agar isse bhi kuch nahi pataa chala to us sahil se meeting ki jagah pataa karenge.

P: thik hai mujhe batate rahna.(hung up) kuch nahi hua.
Sa: to vd sir se phone karo aur kaho ki dates extend karen.

He followed her and informed about their tour. Here sarika called sanyu.

Sa: bhabhi. Hume chennai jaana pad raha hai. Aj main ghar nahi aa paungi.
S: koi baat nahi bacha. Main laxmi ko ghar bulwa lungi.

P: kya keh rahi hai?
Sa: yahi ki laxmi ko bulwa lengi.

P: yahaan do. Hello sanyukta. Tum kahin nahi jaogi. Wahin rahogi.
S: par parth main kaise yahaan.

P: no question sanyukta. Tum wahaan akele safe nahi ho. Waise bhi maa akele rahengi. Tum zid nahi karogi. Maa ko phone do.
P(to mom): maa aj hum ghar nahi aa payenge. Sanyukta apke saath rahegi. Jaane ki zid karegi lekin ap usko jaane nahi dengi.

Mom: main to use aise bhi jaane nahi dena chahti. Tu to ghar me rehta nahi main bor ho jaati hun. Mujhe meri company mil gayi aur tujhe teri.
P: kya matlab?

Mom: sarika wahi hai na jiski wajah se tu kal kuch chhupa raha tha.
P: maa apko.

Mom: Main teri hi nahi baba bhi hun. Waise mujhe sanyukta ne bataya. Ek waada karega beta.
P: jo ap bolo maa.

Mom: meri bahu le aa na.
P: ye bhi koi kehne ki baat hai. Main promise karta hun. Achha ab main rakhta hun.

He hung up the phone.

Sa: kya hua?
P: maan gayi sanyukta.

Sa: aur kya promise kiya tumne tumhari maa se.
P: jo zaruri tha. Chalo. 6 ghante ka raasta hai aur already 4 baj chuke hein.

Sa: kapde nahi hein. Pehle shopping karni padegi.
P: purani aadat gayi nahi. Chalo.

Sa(in mind): kitni strong hai iski memory. Chacha chaudhary hona chahiye tha huh.

They went to shopping mall but she got nothing of choice.

P: chalo.
Sa: mujhe pasand nahi aa raha kuch.

P: maine le liya.
Sa: par maine to nahi liya.

P: maine dono k liye liya hai.
Sa: show me. Wow its beautiful

It was a white kurti having sky blue print work in it with silk edges at its sleeves and neck.

Sa: tumhe meri pasand yaad hai. Mujhe ye bahat pasand hai. Tum..(she said in excitement ans stopped)
P: its ok. Chalo(understanding the situation)

He made his way after payment ans she was continuously staring him. A tear drop escaped from her eyes and she stopped walking.

Sa(in mind): sab samajhte ho. Sab jaante ho. Meri khushi ka khayaal rakhte ho. Kyun mujhse itna pyar karte ho parth main laayak nahi hun tumhare. You desserve better.

Suddenly he realised she was not coming and he turned around. She quicky turned her face and wiped her tears giving a face smile.

Both landed at their respective seats. He realised she was crying.

P(in mind): tumse waada hai mera sarika. Ye aansu zyada time tak tumhari aankhon se behne nahi dunga. Tumhari har majburi ko mita dunga main. Tum meri ho sarika aur in aansuon ko main tumhara nahi hone dunga. I promise.

He did not utter a single word during the journey as he knew dhe was stubborn and she may drop down anytime. At midway he stopped infront of a punjabi dhaba. They got into the dhaba and took a bed to sit.

Sardarji: tussi kya loge paji?
P: gobi ka paratha, aalu beingan ki sabzi aur lassi.
Sa(in mind): ise ye bhi yaad hai. Har bar mera mu band rakhne ki kasam khai hui hai isne.

Both had their dinner silently. After dinner.

P: aur kuch?
Sa: (shook her head in no) aaa.. Wo yoyo ka phone aaya?

P: hmm.. Usne kaha us aadmi se mila to par usne kuch ugla nahi. Aur wo us jagah par bhi gaya tha. Vid ne aksar us jagah booking li hai wo bhi sirf gents associates k saath.
Sa: kahin wo un logon ksaath..

P: true. Par iska proof tabhi milega jab koi strong dhamki milegi.
Sa: aur hume agar wo list mil jaaye un bookings ki to un logon ka muh khulwaya jaa sakta hai. Un logon k khilaf strong proof hoga na ki wo itna frequently kyun milte the usse. Ek bar ye proof ho jaaye ki bookings un logon k saath thi to case strong ho sakta hai. Automatically strong ho jaayega.

P: correct tumhe to detective banna chahiye.
Sa: detective kyun? Main to CID banungi bas exams qualify kar lun.

P: par aisa kuch maine dekha hai. Par kahan? Ummm.. Oh yes jab us nishant k against proof lene gaye the tab uski cupboard me.
Sa: matlab wo sab jaanta hai?

P: nahi. Agar pata hota to ye case kabhi nahi karta. Koi kitna bhi bura ho ye baat to kabhi nahi bolega ki uski biwi rape hui hai.
Sa: hmm. Abhi bol do yoyo se ki kal subah sabse pehle ye dhundne jaaye.

He follwed her words and finally they reached a hotel in chennai. He stopped the jeep and found her sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. He glared her with a lovable smile and adjusted her locks for which her sleep disturbed and she found him smiling at her. She got up with a jerk and foubd him staring her.

Sa: aaa... I am sorry pata nahi main kab so gayi.
P: itna explain karne ki zarurat nahi. Its okey. :) mmm. Chalen?

She hummed and they got into the hotel.

Rec: how may I help you sir.
Sa: two rooms please.
P(in mind): agar alag rahegi to main kaise pata karunga sab.

He gazed the rec and shook his head in a no to make an excuse.

Rec: mam room to ek hi hai. Aur itni raat ko koi aur hotel bhi nahi milega.

Parth secretly thumbs uped him and he smiled back. Sarika gazed him with a "what now" look and he made a "what can I do face"twisting his lips.

Sa: okey ek room hi de dijiye.
Rec: sure mam. Name?
P: mr and mrs kashyap.
Rec: ok mr kashyap signatures please.

With this they were alloted a room.
