I'm pretty sure you must've heard of the series 'The Haunting of Hill House' and this is just a little modified excerpt from it, because it is such a beautiful scene and dialogue. All credits to them.

The woman describes how she sees her dead husband on the ceiling, his face blue and purplish, water dripping from him just like he died.
The man chalks it up to her imagination.
"Why would I like to see my husband in such a horrible condition" she says.
"Because it would still be better than never seeing him again" The man explains.
