Grade 6

Dear Diary,
Yesterday was my first day at grade 6
I was very nervous, scared and I felt like running, but it actually turned out good
The school was filled with nice people and caring teachers, I wouldn't say with the principal, but that's how it goes.. I guess.
I made many friends, their names were Wilma,Ben,Mandy and Pat. We spent recess together and got to know a lot about each other, it was the best my dear diary. Everyone complimented me, saying how fair my skin was, how they loved my blueberry-flower dress and how they wished they looked like me. But I told them they look amazing just the way they are. I'm filled with innocence, and I'm sooo oblivious.. whatever that might mean. After school, mom picked me up, asking how was school, and I said it was great! And I told her about my friends, but she had a wired feeling about them. Emily make some other friends, please. I was upset, the fact that she didn't allow me to have good friends. I told her to stop the car. I got out of the car, my mom was calling for me, but she gave up and drove. I turned on my phone, and opened google maps. I was following the directions until I bumped into some people. As soon as I looked up, there was my good friends. They asked if  I can walk with them and I said yes. We walked together, until we reached my home. I waved goodbye and opened the door. And I saw my mom's disappointed face.
Well I've gotta go now Diary,
