The shadow that looms

After an hour, our protagonists were finally approaching the facilities. A snowy blizzard had begun when the young couple had climbed up.

Aloy: It's cold -said the redhead as she hugged herself to warm up. Allam took a fur coat from his backpack and put it on his jacket.

Aloy: You won't be cold? -The redhead asked, worried that the soldier might catch a cold.

Allam: Don't worry, I'll be fine Aloy -the soldier replied.

They walked for a bit until they heard a loud shriek. They both turned in the direction the scream came from and saw a gigantic metal eagle, known as Stormbird, a fighting machine.

Aloy: A Stormbird! -The redhead exclaimed as she unfurled her precise bow.

Allam: A what?! It has to be a fucking joke, even the fucking national bird is a robot! -said the soldier to unfurl his bow and charge him with an iron arrow.

The great machine spread its wings and took flight. Aloy shot the left wing with an anti-shield arrow, destroying some kind of sound cannons that were below it.

Allam fired at what appeared to be the center of the machine. The great machine charged said center and released a ball of energy that hit Allam directly.

Aloy: Al! -said the huntress worried, but she saw how the man was still standing as if nothing had happened.

His armor gave off electricity and was brighter thanks to the electricity.

Allam: Haha fucking, you don't do shit to me! -Said the ancient soldier with a confident smile on his face, but it wouldn't last long since the machine sent him a sound attack that sent him flying a few meters.

Allam: Ok, I deserved that one for screwing around -said the soldier as he stood up and switched to the light machine gun.

Allam activated his electromagnetic shield and began firing at the great aerial machine. Aloy followed, firing armor-piercing arrows at the Stormbird.

Aloy: Damn -she cursed as she dodged an electrical attack from the machine.

The Stormbird began to fly until we lost sight of it.

Allam: Where did that bird go? -Asked the ancient soldier rhetorically while he was looking for the machine.

Aloy already knew what attack the machine was planning to make, so he approached Allam and started pushing him out of the way.

Just then, the machine plummeted toward the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust, snow, and dirt. Both protagonists fell to the ground due to the tremor of the ground.

The great machine was on the ground and Aloy unfurled her hunting bow and began firing several iron arrows at the same time at the machine.

The Stormbird swung its tail to hit them.

Aloy: Watch out! -The redhead yelled as she crouched down, managing to avoid the attack.

Allam: With wh-? -The soldier tried to ask, but he received the backlash squarely, sending him flying several meters backwards again.

Aloy looked over to where her boyfriend fell to make sure he was okay, but the machine wasn't going to give her a break, so she kept shooting arrows at the Stormbird.

Allam got up and was furious.

Allam: That damn robotic chicken - said the furious soldier.

Allam saw that his light machine gun was under the Stormbird. The ancient soldier started running in the direction of the machine so he could take the weapon from it. When he got close enough, Allam slid under the legs and grabbed the machine gun from him. Emerging from below, Allam rose quickly and began to fill the lead machine.

Allam: Eat lead, you retarded ass chicken! -exclaimed the soldier as he destroyed the Stormbird's defenses.

Allam noticed that there was a kind of hole in the mouth of the machine, if he could get a bomb in there it would be a success.

Allam: Aloy, don't let it take flight, I have a plan -instructed the soldier to his girlfriend, who nodded.

Allam dropped the machine gun and reloaded his grenade launcher with a firebomb. He unfurled his blade, which was now electrified thanks to the Tesla coils.

Allam climbed onto the face of the machine with a double jump and began to attack the jaw of the machine, to keep it open.

Allam: Come on, open wide, here comes the choo choo train -said the soldier as he broke the lower jaw of the machine.

Allam grabbed his grenade launcher and aimed it at the center of the Avempest's mouth.

Allam: I want a bucket from KFC, and your stupid feathered ass is going to be in it -said the soldier as he pressed the trigger, launching the firebomb inside the machine.

An explosion was heard, and the huge machine caught fire from the inside, finally destroying it.

They both released a sigh that they had well kept.

Aloy: I think that's the last one -said the huntress as she retracted her bow.

Allam: I hope so -said the ancient soldier as he stretched his back.

The young couple continued walking until they reached the GAIA Prime facilities, or rather what was left of them.

Allam Pov

Holy shit...is this GAIA PRIME? It's a fucking crater, they gave the mountain a new asshole...quite literally.

Aloy: GAIA PRIME... GAIA's last sacrifice was to split a mountain like an egg? -Said the redhead as if she already knew about this.

Me: What are you talking about? -I asked my girlfriend confused and she looked at me, as if she had forgotten something.

Aloy: I knew I was forgetting something... when I entered the nursery and saw the message GAIA left for me, she told me that she had self-destructed to prevent HADES from taking control of the terraforming system. I forgot to mention that to you -the girl replied while she put the palm of her hand on her face.

Me: Don't worry about it, it happens to anyone -I told her and we started walking, seeing that there was a kind of path already made for us.

Sylens? Most likely.

Sylens: Hurry up. I prepared the way for them -said the voice of the dark man somewhat hurriedly.

Speaking of the devil.

Aloy: Sylens you are a bastard, you told me that Allam was dead -the redhead insulted her furiously, surprising me a little.

Me: W-Wait, what? -I said quite confused.

Aloy: That bald headed asshole told me that you were dead -she replied annoyed as she insulted the man with another of my insults... I taught her well... too well I would say.

Sylens: And we continue with calling me bald -said the man irritated by the insult.

Me: Shut up you stupid cocksucker, let's see, why did you say that I was dead? -I asked the dark-skinned man, quite annoyed.

Sylens: I wish you were. Go to the entrance and I'll explain everything to you -said the man and then closed the call.

Aloy: That guy drives me crazy -the redhead snorted as she threw a little tantrum.

Me: You're not the only one who feels this way. That son of a bitch owes me an explanation -I told her as I put my hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

We both kept climbing until we reached the entrance of the facility. The place looked like some kind of makeshift workshop and upon arrival, Sylens made a holographic appearance.

Me: You've been here before, haven't you? I told him while I looked around the place.

Sylens: What gave me away, Sherlock? -said the man, which earned my surprise, it seemed that he knew who Sherlock Holmes was... How?

Aloy: You've been here before but leave us an army of machines to deal with? the young woman reproached the dark-skinned man.

Sylens: It's not that they were a problem for you -said the man in his typical monotonous and unsympathetic tone.

Me: Okay, start talking motherfucker. Why did you tell Aloy that I was dead? I asked the man and he simply sighed tiredly.

Sylens: Simple, if Aloy thought you were dead, she wouldn't have lost focus on her mission and maybe she would have finished with HADES faster, instead of wasting time with you -replied the man looking at me with some suspicion.

Me: And you thought to leave her suffering? That she was alone and that she had no one left? -I asked him annoyed, this damned man was crazier than a goat.

Sylens: Yes. It's not that she needs you Old One, it's not that you're someone indispensable for this mission. You are a distraction for her; Aloy knows very well that relationships are just unnecessary sentimental ties that distract you from your ultimate goal -said the man with antipathy and suspicion in his voice.

Me: There's no denying that you're a sociopath...I don't even know why I waste my time arguing with you -I replied with venom and hatred in my voice.

Sylens: You and I will have time to talk about whatever we want Allam -said the man challengingly, but I take it for a bit of surprise because he called me by my name.

Me: You don't know how much I want to break your face -I said to turn around and ignore him.

Aloy: You're a bastard... but I need answers too, so I hope you start talking -said the huntress as she addressed Sylens.

General Pov

Allam and Aloy were walking through the destroyed ancient ruins of GAIA Prime. Aloy discovered one of Allam's fears, heights.

When it was their turn to cross the destroyed bridge, Allam refused and decided to take the longest route to cross, as he did not want to fall or knock down the bridge.

The two walked through the destroyed facility for a while longer until they reached Elizabeth Sobeck's room.

Aloy: Elizabeth's room... she didn't even have time to unpack it -said the redhead as she looked at the abandoned room. She saw that there were several audio devices on the desk.

She scanned them and realized it was Elizabeth Sobeck's diary, but most of the data was corrupted.

Aloy: It's Elizabeth's diary, but...there are some that are corrupted. Allam, can my focus fix the data? -The redhead hopefully asked her boyfriend, to which he thought a bit before giving her answer.

Allam: Well... your focus should restore the data, it can take hours, days, months or even years. It all depends on how damaged the files are -explained the ancient soldier to the woman.

They both kept walking and arrived at a large meeting room, on the boardroom table there was a large hologram, with roses and lavender flowers surrounding two photos, on the left was that of Elizabeth Sobeck and on the right was that of Lenora Blake.

Aloy saw that there was a pad and when she touched it, the voice of a man named Charles Ronson, he began to speak.

Charles: A little over 6 hours ago, after we arrived at GAIA PRIME and activated GAIA...there was a malfunction of the access doors, leaving a 10-millimeter gap...instead of 2-millimeters, as indicated by the process...said opening was large enough for an energy signal to go out and alert the horde of our position...this is the recording of the events.

The hologram went from being an altar to a reconstruction of the footage, showing all the Alphas arguing over who should go to the gate. Until suddenly two female figures wearing Ultrawave armor made their appearance in the center of the table. They were Elizabeth and Lenora.

Both had gone out to seal the door manually. Elizabeth and Lenora said their goodbyes to the Alphas, but before closing the call, Elizabeth said something to Lenora.

Elizabeth: Let's go home Leni -said the woman with a tired tone, to which the other nodded with a small laugh.

The recording cut off, leaving Charles speaking again.

Charles: Dr. Sobeck and Lenora sacrificed themselves, but not only for us, but also for the future of the planet and humanity. We owe the future to the two of them -the man finished, so that the recording would stop.

Aloy felt sad hearing about Elizabeth's death, she already knew that she was dead, but she felt as if a part of her hurt to hear it from someone else's mouth.

Allam just stood there silently, keeping his feelings to himself, knowing that this was not the time to cry... not in front of Aloy and certainly not in front of Sylens.

The redhead had no idea how the young soldier was feeling right now. She saw that Allam was quiet and just looked at both photos in silence. Although she somewhat viewed Elizabeth Sobeck as her mother, she did not have as strong a bond with her as Allam had with her mother.

Aloy Pov

Maybe he is bottling up his feelings or he just doesn't want to talk about it right now, this must hurt.

Me: I'm here for you Al, you don't have to suffer alone -she told him while she hugged him. I stood on tiptoe and kissed his helmet to comfort him.

Allam placed a hand on me and pulled me close to him, keeping me close in his embrace.

Me: She really left -I said, still trying to wrap my thoughts about Elizabeth Sobeck's death.

Sylens: And what did you expect Aloy? It was impossible for her to survive... but her achievements were... exceptional -said the man making her presence recognizable.

Aloy: You really are incapable of feeling empathy for someone, aren't you Sylens? -said the hunter with annoyance towards the man, he simply shrugged.

Sylens: While her people argued, she took the initiative into her own hands. That shows that she was better than them -said the dark-skinned man as if that were the most obvious thing in the world.

What? Elizabeth never saw herself above anyone! She always appreciated life and she was always humble.

Me: Elizabeth didn't feel that way -I replied annoyed

Sylens: But she was; and you shouldn't feel bad about admitting it -the man told me trying to make me understand his point of view.

Me: You think she's better because she was smarter than the others, because she designed Zero Dawn, but really that wasn't what made her great...what made her so exceptional was the fact that she didn't hesitate to sacrifice for others. She sacrificed herself for them and for those who came after -I replied while I pointed my finger at him annoyed.

Sylens: No, she couldn't let her creation fail. You're confusing her will with sentimentality, Aloy -the man replied.

Me: You're wrong, it wasn't enough for GAIA to think, she taught her to feel. So that life would matter to her, so that she would sacrifice herself for it and not fall into despair. If it wasn't for that "sentimentality" neither you nor I would be here, what's more, everyone wouldn't be here -I said annoyed, I really don't understand. Why is it like this?

Allam calls him a "sociopath" but I have absolutely no idea what that word means. I know he's unfriendly and immoral, but I don't know what "sociopath" means.

Sylens: I'm sorry for your loss -said the man somewhat curtly, as if it hurt him to say those words. I was simply shocked, he had been courteous and human...for the first time.

General Pov

As Aloy tried to process what Sylens just told her, Sylens shifted his gaze from Aloy to the ancient man, who had his back to him. It was strange to the man that he hadn't insulted him or said anything. It wasn't normal for him to be so quiet.

Sylens: You're very quiet, Blake... Don't you have anything to say?... Not even a stupid insult or anything like that? -The man asked something curious, the man continued to ignore him.

Aloy: Leave him alone Sylens, be a little more human and leave him alone... he's thinking about his family -said the hunter to the man, hoping he would leave him alone, but Sylens ignored her and used the information in his favor

Sylens: You already knew they were dead, why do you act hurt? - the man said again, seeing that the soldier didn't answer him for anything in the world. He planned to use this unique opportunity to fuck him up as much as he can.

Allam turned to look at the man and the dark-skinned man saw the murderous look that the ancient soldier was giving him. If someone could kill with their eyes, Sylens would be dead long ago. Allam gave off a murderous aura against the bald man, which he knew very well that he had hit a nerve.

Although it pained Sylens to admit it, Allam intimidated him a bit with that look, he could see the anger and pain coming off them.

Allam: Shut the hell up -the ancient soldier threatened angrily, but Sylens knew that for now he wouldn't do anything to him.

Sylens: Don't be macho now, Blake -replied the man, trying to annoy the old soldier even more.

Allam: If you invoke the devil, don't be surprised when he appears -answered the ancient soldier to start walking to the exit of the room.

Sylens dropped the call and Aloy followed his boyfriend.

Aloy: Don't pay any attention to him...that bastard doesn't know what he's talking about -said the redhead to the soldier, but he just let out a tired sigh.

Allam: I'm not going to listen to him...he's just a sociopath trying to get into my head...let's finish this and go back to Meridian -said the soldier.

They went back outside and continued to scale the ruins of the old facility. These led to a door, which looked intact and relatively functional, unlike the entire facility.

Allam put his hand on the door panel and when he opened it, the air began to rush into the room, almost knocking them both down.

Both entered and saw human corpses sitting on chairs, lying on the floor or dead on the table.

Aloy: What happened here? Are these the Alphas? -Asked the redhead as she looked at the corpses.

Allam walked over to the table and scanned the security footage of the room with his spotlight. It was the recording that was on the record.

The hologram began to play, and the Alphas were seen wondering where Faro was, then a hologram appeared in the center of the table and it was seen to be a call from Ted Faro. He began to think a lot about what he wanted to say, until Charles forced him to say it.

Allam Pov

Ted: I... I purged Apollo -the man said, but it sounded like he was insane.

Ted: Knowledge is a curse...are we going to create a new world and teach those innocents about our mistakes?...no...this will be a new chapter where no one knows about what happened to us or what we caused -said the delirious man, trying to convince others and himself of what he was saying.

Faro did what?! That son of a bitch purged Apollo?! What the hell was he thinking?!

Aloy and I watched as the Alphas cursed that damn narcissistic bastard.

Ted: I know you all have different opinions...and I hope...you'll forgive me -said the man, so that Faro commanded the installation and took the air out of the Alpha chamber, killing them all, suffocating them.

After seeing that recording, Aloy and I were shocked. I looked up at the green-eyed girl and I swear I could see a million thoughts going through her mind trying to process what they had seen moments ago.

I couldn't believe it...Ted Faro really killed humanity. Physically and culturally... it is his fault that this world lives in ignorance and superstition. That bastard...that narcissistic bastard...was more concerned with his fucking image than the greater good...all the work...for nothing.

I need to go out...I need...I don't even know what I need. All this anger and rage...so much helplessness...that bastard...fucked us all twice.

I turned and walked out of the room and let out a scream from the rooftops. A scream full of rage, hatred and impotence.

Me: I HOPE YOU'LL ROT IN HELL'S DEEPEST HOLE, YOU SON OF A BITCH AND FUCK THE WHORE THAT BIRTHED YOU! -I yelled from the rooftops with a mishmash of negative feelings in my heart.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw that it was Aloy, who had the master control module in her hands. I put a hand around her waist while I looked at the horizon...reflecting on what I just learned...Apollo was destroyed and the world will live in ignorance...there is nothing I can do and I must accept it .

Ted Faro was dead already...being upset and sorry for what he did wouldn't change anything...I just hope that bastard died in the worst possible way.

We started down the mountain, back to Sylens's workshop. We entered the place and there he was... the bald fag that has been my biggest headache since I woke up.

He was just standing there looking at us with those damn calculating eyes. I unfolded my blade without a second thought, that bastard is going to die right now.

I began to slowly close in on the man, who was gripping his spear tightly and giving me a defiant look as he exchanged glances with me and my blade. Aloy stepped between them, shaking her head in denial, which surprised me.

Me: Aloy... Why do you defend him? -I asked as I didn't take my eyes off Sylens.

Aloy: Allam, I need information on him. He told me a little about what happened between him and the Eclipse... I need to know the truth -she told me and I saw how she looked at me determined to pay attention to her.

Me: Wait. He and the Eclipse were together? No wonder you have such a wide ass, you were their personal bitch -I replied, not looking away from the dark-skinned man.

Sylens: And you continue with your retrograde insults. I don't even know what Aloy sees in you. You are wilder than Nora themselves. What's more, you can't do anything to me, because you only know how to speak and do nothing -the man insulted me.

Me: You know very well that I can easily rip both of your arms off, right? And with that same damn happiness I can put them to the bottom of your miserable ass you -I threatened him back but Aloy covered my mouth so I would stop talking.

Aloy: Okay, stop fighting. You are behaving like small children -said the huntress as she stepped between the two men.

Aloy: Allam please...I ask you to listen to him first, then we'll see what we do with him -the red-haired girl asked me, using those doggy eyes that she loved making me...I'm starting to regret that Janet have taught her.

Ultimately, I had to follow Aloy's request. I trust her and her judgment.

Me: Okay, but any suspicious move that bastard tries to make... I'll rip his testicles off and sell them to someone in Meridian -I told them hands as he retracted my blade and crossed my arms.

Sylens: Thank you... a while ago I admitted to you that I was involved with them... but I never explained to you to what extent -the man said to my girlfriend, who was looking at him attentively.

Sylens: I was there from the beginning...I found HADES buried deep in the jungle and served him, in exchange for knowledge. Unimaginable knowledge that he gave me -explained the dark-skinned man.

This asshole blindly followed a machine out of fucking knowledge? Top 10 biggest bullshit in the universe.

Aloy: In exchange for? -she asked the man suspiciously, although we already knew the answer.

Sylens: An army that was at his beck and call, that followed him blindly... a cult. From there, the Eclipse was born -Sylens explained to us.

Aloy: But why are you telling us this now? -she asked him, incredulous at the story.

Me: I knew you were stupid but you exceeded my expectations -I said while I put the palm of my hand on my face.

The man just ignored the ancient soldier's dismissive comment in annoyance.

Sylens: Because you can only beat HADES with what you know. When I found it, the first thing HADES wanted to know was about the Spire. Not about Merdidan, about the Spire. Now, who created the Spire? -Explained the man, is he talking about the big giant antenna that is near Meridian?

Aloy: The Spire was created by GAIA. Well, MINERVA to stop the Faro Plague with the deactivation codes -replied the redhead.

Wait...if MINERVA was the one to disable the plague, she needed a giant comm antenna to broadcast the shutdown code...HADES can use the antenna to reanimate ancient machines.

Me: HADES plans to use MINERVA's antenna to reactivate the Faro Plague, right? -I said to the dark-haired man and he nodded.

Sylens: Exactly. First time you use your brain -said the man mockingly.

This guy's nerve, you'll see when I get my hands on him.

Aloy: Allam -my girlfriend called, and she gave me a serious look, which sent a little shiver down my spine.

Aloy: So, the Eclipses will help him capture the Spire and then he'll end the world -said the redhead realizing the Eclipse's plan.

Sylens: That was the same conclusion I came to. Unless you stop him -the man commented.

Me: Sounds easier said than done -I replied sarcastically, thinking of the large number of machines and soldiers that HADES may have in his power.

Sylens: If you stop complaining, you may have more chances to win -the man answered me.

It was very obvious that we are both trying to screw each other over. This guy drives me nuts.

Me: Shut your mouth, thanks for telling us how to end HADES, you can go now, don't make me regret it -I told him, I want him out of my sight.

Aloy: Wait Al, I want to know everything first, about HADES, the Eclipse and how all this started -the hunter asked with an authoritative voice.

General Pov

Sylens: It's a long story Aloy -said the man trying to dissuade the young woman, but he himself knew that this was something impossible.

Aloy: Well, start talking -she ordered.

Sylens just sighed and began to tell how he met Hades, how he helped him found the Eclipse, what he told him about The Needle and what the Carjas had to do with the whole drama.

Allam: So you're saying you were stupid enough to serve him but not trust him? Really? -said the incredulous soldier without being able to believe it.

Aloy: So, where did I end up in all this? How did you find out about my existence? How did "our paths" cross? -asked the redhead, emphasizing the latter.

Sylens: While I was running from the Eclipse, an alert that said "System Threat Detected" caught my attention. At first I wondered why HADES would bother with a savage Nora who had nothing to do with his plans, until I saw that said savage had a focus and a great resemblance to a scientist from the ancient world -said the dark-skinned man without taking his eyes off both young people.

Sylens: I thought HELIS killed you, but I detected your focus signal inside the mountain and I knew you were alive. I began to observe you and the more I observed you, the more I noticed your exceptional nature and your possible usefulness to me; help me unearth the secrets of the Earth. The rest, as they said before, is history -explained the man in his usual neutral and emotionless tone.

Sylens: When you and the Old One reached Maker's End and spoke to HADES for the first time, he sent out another alert but one higher in rank than yours. Still, it was more detailed and very specific -explained the man, picking up the ancient soldier's curiosity.

Allam: What do you mean by that? -the man asked the brunette.

Sylens: Yours said "Critical Threat Detected" followed by very clear instructions. It said "Retrieve Alpha dead or alive, extreme precautions. Dangerous subject." But after learning about nuclear weapons, I understood why HADES also targeted you -the man replied to Allam, who was surprised.

As Allam and Sylens were talking, Aloy didn't know what to think about what he had heard. Even though Sylens tried to make her win, that didn't excuse the fact that he had caused all this trouble in the first place.

Aloy: The things you've done for Sylens knowledge... that's the most stupid, irresponsible and reckless thing you've ever done in your life- said the hunter Nora, annoyed.

Allam: Your ambition for knowledge caused you to bring the world to the brink of extinction. Good fucking job Sylens -he said quite annoyed to the bald man.

Sylens: Hey, this isn't a confession so you're judging me -the man replied, but he just snorted and shook his head in denial.

Sylens heaved a tired sigh, grabbed his spear, which had some designs around it.

Sylens: Take my spear and attach the master control module to it. With it you can kill HADES -said the man as he passed the spear to the redhead.

Aloy: So, I just have to stick this in HADES's head? -asked the hunter to which the dark-haired man only nodded, but Allam looked at her not very sure.

The man turned to start to leave, but the ancient soldier called out to him.

Allam: Sylens! -he called him and the man turned around.

Allam: Where are you going now? -asked the ancient soldier curiously.

Sylens: To another place, but at the same time I will be everywhere Allam. There is so much I must learn about the world before it ends... I wish we had met under other circumstances, perhaps we could have benefited from a less... hostile alliance -said the man with some grace.

Allam: For the next time, don't get in my spotlight and put Aloy in the line of fire -the man replied with some humor to the dark-skinned man.

Aloy: And this place? -the redhead asked curiously.

Sylens: It's yours... all this has always belonged to you two... I was just... trespassing -the man told them, to turn around and continue on his way to the exit.

Sylens went out and left the young couple alone. They both sighed somewhat tired and relieved, they would no longer have to see Sylens in their lives, his help was already more than enough, it's time to end this.

Aloy grabbed the spear and began to modify it. Allam looked at her in surprise, seeing how agile she was in cocking the weapon. When he finished, the spear began to glow in a blue hue.

Allam: We'd better go back to Meridian, Avad must know where the Eclipses are really going to attack -said the ancient soldier, to which the redhead nodded.

The two left Sylens' workshop and began their descent down the mountain to return to Merdian.

Somewhere else...

After several attempts, the Eclipse troopers opened the gates to the ancient facility behind the palace.

A platoon of Eclipse troopers entered behind Helis, the latter being led by HADES. They came to a large room, which had rusty metal machines, some covered in limestone, and very few still active for very basic functions. That room had a large glass in front, which let see whatever is there.

The little lighting of the place came from a small cavern that allowed to see what was behind the glass, which left those present shocked. It was a large metal cylinder, somewhat rusty and threadbare. Said cylinder had letters inscribed on its side. The most striking thing was the symbol that was there.

A symbol of red, blue and white colors, with white stars placed in an organized way.

Helis: Great Shadow, what is that? -Asked the man to the assassin AI while he saw the large metallic cylinder.

HADES: It's a power with which we can destroy our enemies...but for that...I need the Alpha -said the demonic voice.

Helis: Is that why you want the Old One? -Helis asked the AI, he nodded.

Helis already knew that Allam was alive, the survivors of the attack against the Nora told him that he came bringing death and destruction to them.

HADES: Walk...to that pod -the voice said and showed Helis a pod that was locked. He approached and HADES hacked into it, pulling out of it an Ultrawave Mk6.7 armor with a bulletproof shield.

HADES: With this... you can defeat... Alpha Prime... and bring him to me -the AI said as he activated the armor and the power cells turned reddish.

Helis walked over and donned his exo and armor. This outlined a machiavellian and sinister smile.

Helis: Prepare my new armor... Avad's fall begins now! -the man yelled, causing his soldiers to cheer him on.

Helis: I'm after you, wild couple -said the man in a low voice with an evil and disturbed smile.
