Above pic is Petrov. The song is Mr. Brightside by the killers.

***Makar***

After meeting with a friend of his, he felt his back itching like someone was watching him. Not wanting to turn around and give himself up to whoever was following him, he kept walking but kept himself on guard. He turned a corner and suddenly came face to face with a group of men, he would have loved to kill if there wasn't so many of them.

"Makar." A familiar voice that he despised more than anyone's except Solokov's that is, spoke.

"Mr. Gold." He turned to look at the man, allowing his voice to be filled with the hated and contempt that he felt towards him.

The man continued, "Its been so long since I have seen you-"

"What do you want?" He interrupted him.

He just gave him a cursory glance before continuing. "There's a certain girl that I am looking forward to finding and I have reason to believe that you know her whereabouts."

He shook his head, "Why do you think, I would be here, if I knew where she was?" He snapped.

The man nodded, "Assuming this, I decided to make a deal. The boy for the girl its that simple as long as I get the hard drive."

He looked at him, astounded. He knew that he would pick Snow over Solokov no matter the situation, so it was a pretty easy decision. The only thing that puzzled him was why did Solokov save Snow in the first place? It wasn't like she held anything valuable after all he had the hard drive. He nodded. It wasn't like he would leave without making a decision.

"Good, Makar. I hope you will uphold deal in future? For your and Snow's sake." He clasped his back, whispering in the last sentence before disappearing with his men.

Sighing in relief, he reached for his phone but thought better of it so instead he came out of the alley and started walking down the street, looking for a store to buy a phone from.

***Solokov***

They had sent him to a safe house which he quickly became bored of. Staying there for a month made people think about things so he thought and thought.  His thoughts eventually led him to Snow. He had learned of Raegan and even met him. He hated that man with a passion. His name just made him itch to punch something. He knew what Raegan attempted to do, it was quite obvious with how he looked at Snow with something akin to lust in his eyes. Raegan wanted Snow and Cole was just an obstacle in his way. He knew that he didn't know what Raegan's plan was and what the heavy feeling that came from his stomach was but one thing he knew for sure was that he would not let Snow go without a fight.

He swung his fist at the wall and leaned his forehead against it, angrily. Sighing he was about to punch it again when a vibration in his jacket pocket stopped him. Reaching down, he pulled out his phone and looked at the bright little screen. Taking a deep breath, he decided to answer it, "Hello."

"Why aren't you at the team meeting?" An angry voice belonging to the Chief police sounded.

He frowned, "what meeting? I was never made aware of one."

A mumble on the other side of the phone made him focus more until he could pick out one word, 'Raegan'.

Growling, he was about to shut the phone but instead took a deep breath and asked one word, "Where?"

***

After receiving the location, he hurriedly got into the car and drove. His mind on nothing but finding different ways to kill Raegan.Turning into his destination, he angrily slammed his door shut before he proceeded to finding either Snow or Raegan. He couldn't decide which one he wanted to find more.

Walking into the grey, plain building before him, he was immediately greeted with darkness. He patiently waited for his eyes to adjust before he followed the voices he had heard when he first came in. When the owner of the voices came into view, two familiar faces stood out among them, eliminated by the light coming from a window a short distance away; Raegan and Snow. He clenched his fist in an effort to calm himself down and keep him from going in there.Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to just watch and listen.

Raegan was the first to talk. "Snow would you like to do the honors as leader?"

'Leader? Since when did she become the leader?'

She nodded, nervously before talking. "Everyone has been told their parts so let us skip ahead to the plan." She looked towards Raegan and he nodded before he laid out a piece of paper. "Here is the building that are target will be in. Just to make sure everyone knows who the target is I will go over him again. Our target is Henry Gold who most know for his status as leader of the Russian Mafia. Now I assume that everyone has the sense to remain cautious around him so let us look at the first step of the plan..."

After she was a done, explaining the plan I put my hands together and stepped out of the shadows.

Her eyes showed a quick hint of surprise for just a moment before she frowned. "I thought you told Raegan that you would not be here?" She asked, frowning.

I glared at Raegan. "Well he was wrong. In fact I had no idea there was a meeting today."

She glared at Raegan and waited until everyone had left before she spoke. "You guys really need to end this. I cant have two of my best members at each others' throats all the time. I'll give you guys one chance to end this before I end this. Got it." She said and I was surprised at how quickly she had taken the role of lead.

Maybe the boss was actually right about putting her as leader.

"I'll leave you two to figure this out." She said and walked out without a second glance.

I gave Raegan a hard glare before I chased after her. Grabbing her wrist, I turned her around to face me. "Snow...I'm sorry for everything. Its best if I explain everything somewhere private." I had no idea what came over me to say these things but as soon as I said it I knew that they were the right words as she seemed to think for a second before she nodded.

"I'll meet you at the café at one. No sooner or later. Now can you please let go."

I had completely forgot about my hand on her wrist and quickly let it go. "Sorry." I mumbled.

If she had heard me, I would never know because as soon as I let her go, she turned her back on me and left.

I heard footsteps behind me, not bothering to even look at Raegan, I turned and left. Hoping, just hoping that I would say the right words to get her on my good side. It seemed like it took forever before finally I headed towards the café. As soon as I entered, my eyes were quickly drawn to a familiar brown haired and brown eyed beauty. I quickly looked down at my watch, seeing if I was late but no I was right on time. Frowning I walked towards her and took a seat right across from her.

"What did you want to talk to me about Cole?" She asked, quickly beginning the conversation.

"I wanted to make amends for what I did and explain to you why I did it?" I took a deep breath before I told her everything while she listened to me quietly with no interruptions. As soon as the words were out it was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I felt happy but only for a moment.

"I already know why you did it, Cole and I respect you for that but that is not what I am mad at you about."

I frowned. "Then what are you mad at me for?"

"For never once telling me what had happened, where you were or even if you were going to..." she stopped and I could see the hurt in her eyes even as she tried to hide it by turning her head away from me. "Come back for me or not?"

"Snow-"

"Xander told me what happened but I wanted to hear it from you, yourself. The only thing I don't understand is why you didn't tell me. It was a month, Cole. A month. You had a little bit less then a month to tell me and did you, no. You left me, there. Every day, I was looked at with suspicious eyes, it got better with time but its as if everyone is watching your every move and waiting for you to make a mistake. The only way I got through this was with the help of Xander and strangely the chief. They both helped me through this and because of them, I actually am thinking of staying in the force." She looked up at me.

I shook my head. "Snow." I hissed. "The force isn't going to protect you from Gold-"

"So what you are? Why are you even protecting me anyways?"

I waited a moment to collect myself before I looked at her with hardened eyes. "Your father."

Her eyes widened.

"Your father asked that we, me and my father protect you...and your family. We accepted but by the time we got to your family. They were already dead. My father-" I looked around at the café making sure no one was listening before I pulled out an old newspaper from in my brief case and handed it to her. The front page depicted the deaths of her parents, sister and her. I could see the struggle in her as she tried to not cry. "Published this so that they wouldn't go after you too. I am sorry, Snow. We should have stopped Gold-"

She looked up with a mixture of shock and anger. "Gold did this?"

Oops.

"Snow, I know what you are thinking? If you do anything than catch Gold, I will get the chief to take you off this case."

"He already knows. Why do you think he let me in on the case because he knew that I would do anything to catch Gold and that if anyone can find him, its me. I've done it before." She said all of this while standing up.

"Snow. "

She wasn't listening. Collecting the newspaper and putting it in her purse, she begin to head for the exit when I stepped in front of her.

"Don't do it, Snow. You are going to regret this."

"Cole get out of way."

"Snow."

"Cole." Her eyes reflected determination and hope that I just couldn't diminish. Swallowing, I allowed her to past, knowing that I would regret it. Waiting until she had left the café, I flipped open my phone and headed towards the exit. Searching through my contacts, I pushed the one I needed and pressed call.

An answer sounded from the other line almost instantly.

"Yes, sir?"

"Follow her." Was the only two words he needed before the phone call ended, the phone was closed and stuffed in my pocket. Pushing open the doors, I walked into the warm night air only to be shoved hard against a wall by a black curly haired boy with light blue eyes. I smiled my biggest smile which only seemed to infuriate him before speaking. "I was wondering when I would see you Makar."

His eyes only hardened not the least surprised.

"Have you come back to ask Snow for forgiveness for not protecting her well enough?"

I heard the punch before I saw it and as his fist made impact, I smiled.
