I could tell dad was talking towards us. I knew he was coming to wake El up knowing I would be awake since I am always up early.

"Rise and shine. (He pauses) So that's it, huh? You're still not talking? All right. I guess I'm just gonna have to, uh... enjoy this triple-decker Eggo extravaganza on my own." Dad starts. El's eyes widen] [cut to El and Hopper at the table, Hopper is cutting the "triple-decker Eggo extravaganza" in half.

"[grunts happily as he licks the knife] Mmm! Mmm! Good, right? Know the great thing about it? It's only 8,000 calories. [sniffles] You visited them again last night?" Dad asked.

"He says he needs me." El answers dad looks at me,

"Well Lucas didn't say that but Erica misses me his mum isn't making my favourite breakfast for them knowing they will be upset." I answered.

"Want me to go check on them? [we shake our heads] I know that you miss them, all right? But it's too dangerous. You're the last thing they needs right now. You're gonna see them. Soon. And not just in that head of yours. You're gonna see him in real life. I feel like I'm making progress with these people." Dad tries.

"Friends don't lie." I say looking at him.

"What?" Dad asked.

"You say "soon" on day 21. You say "soon" on day 205. You now say "soon" on day 326? –" Me and El try's.

"What is this? You're counting the days now like you're some kind of prisoner?" Dad asked.

"When is "soon"?" El asked.

""Soon" is when... it's not dangerous anymore." Dad answered,

"When?" I decide to ask.

"I don't know." He answers.

"On day 500?" El asked.

"I don't know." Dad answered.

"On day 600?" I asked again.

"I don't know." He answers.

"Day 700? On day 800?" Me and El ask together.

"No!" He answers.

"We need to see them." I state.

"I said I-" Dad tries.

"Tell us!" I yell. I fling the plate I was using with my powers and it gets all over his uniform.

"Oh! Shit! Shit!" Dad panics.

"Friends don't lie!" Me and El yell we storm off to our room and El slams the door with her powers. I heard dad kicks the table in anger.

I put the blindfold on hoping to see Jonathan this time. I tune into where he was. I saw him in a cupboard in the high school with a walkie talkie he borrowed of Will to hopefully get to me.

"It's day 356 Alex. I miss you so much. So does everyone really. Nancy isn't what she used to be without you here. Even Steve Herrington was affected even though you both never met. We have a new kid called Billy Hargrrove. Heard he had a little sister your age. He is messing around with Steve. I know that has nothing to do with you but I knew how much you disliked Steve so I thought if you could hear me that might cheer you up. Mom has been down since you left us. But hey she got someone better then Larry his name is Bob. He is alright but he has no clue who you are whenever your mentioned at the dinner table and he is there. I still have that picture I took of you and Will on his 5th birthday. You both looked so young and so cute and innocent to what was happening in 7 or so years." Jonathan said I didn't hear the rest because I pulled the blindfold off and I saw El leaving so I raced after her. 

We already broke three rules when we left the house. First one was opening the curtains dad wanted them closed then the second was going outside alone and don't ever go out in daylight.

"Not stupid." El said to me. We smiled and walked to the middle school.

We walked towards a woman and her daughter. They were by the swings the daughter was on the swings and the mom was pushing her. I knew El got flash backs of her and Hopper's time together. I didn't care since it was for El to be happy. The woman saw us but before she could say anything I used my powers to distract them. 

El was trying to get to the school I attended so I was planning on taking her there myself. I knew every way to the school you could possibly go. I took every ruite to school to see which was the shortest time when I was in a hurry to get there. 

Me and El arrive at the school and I saw Mike's bike. I guessed so did El because she touches the handlebars and gets emotional. I saw Lucas's bike and I tried not to cry since it had been over 350 days since I last saw him face to face contact. I checked up on him every other day to see how his was. I saw Mike with a ginger hair girl before El could she was searching the school without me and we would of met up outside the school soon. I listened to their conversation. I stayed out of plain sight because I attended this school so people knew my face and I knew the school spoke about me.

"Why do you hate me so much?" The girl asked.

"I don't hate you. How can I hate you? I don't know you." Mike answered I smiled slightly.

"But you don't want me in your party." She carried on. That wasn't like Mike he wanted El in the party when we met her.

"Correct." Mike replied. I liked how much he had changed.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because you're annoying. Also, we don't need another party member. I'm our paladin, Will's our cleric, Dustin's our bard, Lucas is our ranger, Alex is our princess, and El is our mage." Mike answered. I smiled wide knowing he didn't forget us.

"El and Alex? Who's El and Alex?" She asked. She did ask tons of question.

"Two people. No one." Mike answered.

"Two people or no one?" She asked.

"They was in our party a long time ago. They moved away, okay?" Mike answered.

"They was a mage and a princess? Well, what could they do? Like, magic tricks or something? Well, I could be your zoomer." She tried.

"That's not even a real thing." Mike answered.

"It could be. [she gets on her skateboard and skates around him] See? Zoomer." She carried on.

"Mind-blowing."  Mike answered sarcastically.

"Come on, you know you're impressed." She tried again. El is walking through the halls and she hears Mike's voice, she goes to the gym and sees Mike and Max through the door next to me.

"I don't see any tricks. You're just going around in a circle." Mike answers.

"If it's so easy, you try it." She stated.

"No." Mike answers.

"Why not?" She asked.

"I don't know how." Mike answered.

"So, then you admit it's kind of impressive." She carried on.

"I think if I spent, like, all day practicing, I could do that." Mike carried on.

"I would give you a million bucks if you could." She tried.

"Okay, you're making me dizzy. Please just stop." Mike tried.

"I'll stop when I join your party." She continues.

"Come on, just stop." Mike begged again.

"It's a simple question. Am I in or out?" She asks. El smiled at Mike once she knew it was him. I noticed the weird ginger hair girl was smiling at Mike so before El could see I used my powers to push her off her board. She grunts and I could tell El was smiling wide.

"Jesus! Are you all right?" Mike asked.

"Yeah, yeah. I think so." She answered.

"What happened?" Mike asks. Mike helps her up and El sees them touching hands, because El has a lack in social skills and next to no understanding of emotional control she tears up and leaves before Mike can see her. I just stand there watching.

"I don't know. It was like a magnet or something pulling on my board. I know that sounds crazy." She answered. Mike runs out of the gym, obviously realising it seemed like El or me was there and we used our powers but he sees nothing I had already started running down the hall to the entrance before he noticed me.
