LILA WOKE UP WITH A STIR, a shot of pain flowing through her head. She winced and realised she was in a holding cell. The First Order's holding cell.

She quickly recollected the events that had happened just hours before and huffed. Lila couldn't believe they had been captured.

Lila bought her fingers to her lip and realised it was bleeding, god knows what happened while she was being dragged in here. Opposite, in another cell, she was surprised to see that Poe was absent. This caused an instant rush of anxiety set in, wondering where he was and what had happened to him.

Then she heard a grunt and watched as Poe was dragged in by Kylo Ren, beaten and bruised. Blood was dripping down his face and it was all spread therefore she couldn't tell where it was coming from. His lip was completely bust and he already had a black eye.

"Poe!" The brunette exclaimed, practically throwing herself at the bars in front of her. Well, attempting, the shackles around her wrists meant she couldn't really move anyway.

Kylo turned to her, "Do you know him?"

She swallowed a lump that was forming in her throat, "Barely." Lila lied, trying not to let him get hurt.

"He can't seem to say what he did with the map." Kylo Ren said, eyeing Poe slowly, "So, if he won't say it, I guess we'll have to get it out of him a different way."

Lila shook her head, "You don't know what your doing Ben."

"Kylo Ren." He corrected, making Lila snicker.

"But I am impressed, that no one has been able to get anything out of you." He directed at Poe.

Why hadn't anyone asked Lila anything?

She brushed the thought off, letting it sit in the back of her mind.

"You might wanna rethink your technique." Poe remarked, even beaten to a pulp, that guy can still be a smug as can be.

Kylo Ren just lifted his hand and as soon as Lila saw, she knew what he was doing.

It was something she had learnt about with Luke when they were around 14. To search through people's minds.

That was exactly what he was doing to Poe.

All Lila could do was watch with pain in her eyes.

Poe let out a few screams and Lila couldn't handle it much longer.

"Please stop! Please!" Lila exclaimed.

Kylo Ren just turned for her, "You really care for this cocky resistance pilot?"

She stayed silent.

"It's in a droid." Kylo Ren said finally, before walking away without saying another word.

The moment he had walked out of the room, Lila tugged on the chains, "Poe I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry."

"It's okay Lil', it's okay." He breathed out, sluggish. It was clear he was about to pass out.

Lila felt a guilt that was slowly filling her up as she watched Poe slowly fall into sleep.

Lila had woken from a slumber she didn't even know she had fell in by the sound of a Stormtrooper.

"Ren wants the prisoners." His voice was muffled, because of the mask over his head.

Poe glanced at Lila uneasily as the Stormtrooper unshackled Lila and grabbed Poe.

Poe is still handcuffed and Lila is tripping over her own feet as the Stormtrooper leads them through the confusing halls. "Turn here." The Stormtrooper ordered, which they both obliged, knowing it wasn't the time to be challenging anyone.

Lila wondered what her brother wanted. He got what he wanted. He knows the map is in a droid.

"Listen carefully." The Stormtrooper ordered, "You do exactly as I say, I can get you out of here." He took of his Stormtrooper mask.

Lila widened her eyes, "What—"

"If—" Poe stuttered.

"This is a rescue. I'm helping you escape. Can any of you fly a TIE fighter?" The Stormtrooper asked, Poe and Lila still taken aback.

Poe furrowed his eyebrows, "You with the Resistance?"

He quickly shook his head, "No. I'm breaking you out. Can any of you fly a TIE fighter?"

"I can fly anything." Poe retorted, then stopped and thought for a moment, "Why are you helping us."

The Stormtrooper looked down to the ground, then back up again, "Because it's the right thing to do."

Lila suddenly realised, "You need a pilot."

The Stormtrooper gulped, "I need a pilot."

Lila realised he meant well and smiled, "We're gonna do this."

"Yeah?" The Stormtrooper replied, clearly on edge about the whole thing.

The Stormtrooper put his mask back on as the three entered the hanger. Poe and Lila kept that heads down, to make it seem more convincing that they were being escorted somewhere.

"Okay, stay calm, stay calm." The Stormtrooper repeated.

"We are calm." Poe answered.

"I'm talking to myself."

The Stormtrooper lead them up besides the wall and approached at TIE fighter which was sat unattended.

Poe and Lila got into the back of the ship whilst the Stormtrooper got into the front.

"Are you okay?" Poe quickly asked as they were buckling up.

"Yes, are you?"

Poe nodded and smiled, even though you could tell he was slightly wincing at every move.

Poe swiftly takes off his jacket and cuffs, while the mystery Stormtrooper took off his mask.

"I've always wanted to fly one of these." Poe said in excitement.

"Can you shoot?" Lila asked.

"Blasters I can!"

"Okay, same principal!" Poe shouted, "Use the toggle on the left to switch between missiles, cannons and a mag pulse. Use the site on the right to aim, triggers to fire!" Poe explained.

The Stormtrooper seemed to be freaking out, a lot. "This is very complicated!"

The TIE fighter suddenly lurched forward and Poe quickly put a protective arm around Lila. Almost as an act of instinct. Lila just smiled awkwardly and nodded towards him and he smiled back.

Poe cleared his throat and then regained his posture and shouted, "I can fix this!"

The TIE fighter slowly begins to rise in the air and then the three realised the cables were still attached to the ship. It jarred slightly then lifted off, ripping the charging cables. Stormtroopers approach at a rapid pace, firing mega blasters towards the ship. Then Poe picked up the speed and flew out of the bay, trying his hardest to get out of the Star Destroyer while The Stormtrooper behind them was firing at the Stormtroopers below.

After one final push, the TIE fighter escaped the Star Destroyer and the three were successfully out.

"We did it!" Lila cheered.

"Yeah right we did." Poe agreed, flicking a few controls, "Wow, this thing really moves! But no we've gotta take out as much canons as we can or we're not getting very far." Lila responded by switching a few controls so it made the aim easier for the Stormtrooper in the back who still hadn't told them his name.

"All right!" The Stormtrooper seemed like he was enjoying the adrenaline rush.

Poe was clearly focused, "I'm gonna get us in position, just stay sharp."

The TIE Fighter arched back and dives through the ship, turning left and right to avoid shots but also to get in line with the canons.

"Up ahead! You see it? I've got us dead centred. It's a clear shot." Poe communicated.

The Stormtrooper nodded, "Okay, got it."

Lasers began blasting towards the canons, successfully hitting them and causing them to explode. Poe directed the ship and it slices through the debris and the Stormtrooper just cheered in excitement.

"Yes! Did you guys see that!"

Poe chuckled, "Yeah, we saw that! Hey, what's your name?"

"FN-2187!" He answered.

"FN-what?" Poe looked confused.

"That's the only name they ever gave me!"

"Well I ain't using it! FN huh? Finn. I'm gonna call you Finn! That all right?" Poe asked.

"Finn. Yeah, 'Finn', I like that!"

Poe introduced himself, "I'm Poe. Poe Dameron."

"Good to meet you Poe!" Finn replied, clearly even more excited then he was two minutes ago, if that was possible.

"And I'm Lila Solo! Nice to meet you Finn."

"It's nice to meet you too!"

After the introductions, Poe began to focus more on piloting the ship and did a sharp turn, heading back to Jakku.

"Where are you going?" Finn asked, concerned.

"We're going to Jakku, that's where."

Finn jumped so hard in his seat you could feel the TIE Fighter begin to shake.

"No! No! No! We can't go back to Jakku! We need to get outta this system!" Finn challenged.

"I gotta get back to my droid before The First Order does." Poe argued.

"What— a droid?"

"That's right! He's a BB unit! Orange and white— one of a kind." Poe described.

"I don't care what colour he is! No droid can be that important." Finn said.

"This one is, Finn." Lila replied.

"We need to get as far away from the First Order as we can! We go back to Jakku, we die!"

Lila turned around to try and speak more clearly to Finn, "That droid has a map that leads straight to Luke Skywalker!"

"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" He whined.

Unexpectedly, the TIE Fighter was hit and Lila felt a thud and could smell smoke. Then, she began to feel the ship go down.

"Poe!"

"Lila!"

I DONT THINK I HAVE EVER USED THE PHRASE "THE STORMTROOPER" THAT MUCH EVER. IM SO SORRY THAT IS SUCH A CURSED WORD IN THIS CHAPTER!
