LILA SOLO WATCHED AS REY WAS CARRIED ONTO THE FIRST ORDER SHIP BY KYLO REN. It was one of the worst things she could possibly see happen.

From the short time she knew Rey, they seemed to get along pretty well, so to see her get taken away by her monster-like brother, it made her feel sick.

The First Order ship just took off and retreated as if nothing had happened.

Lila and Finn ran over to Han.

"He took her! Did you see that? He took her, she's gone!" Finn exclaimed.

Han, with his head down, walked past Finn, "Yeah, yeah—I know."

Lila swiftly followed behind them.

A Resistance transporter landed over the debris of Maz's castle and the ramp opened up.

Lila could tell her father was tense, knowing that Leia was on the other side.

Leia and C-3PO were standing there and Leia was completely stunned.

The last thing she'd expect to see was her daughter and husband standing right next to each other after six years.

Everyone was silent, eyeing the couple and waiting for their next move.

Thank goodness, for once, C-3PO spoke at the right time.

"Goodness! Han Solo! It is I, C-3PO. You probably don't recognise me because of the red arm."

C-3PO looked at Han then back at Leia and immediately felt awkward, "Ah, Miss Solo, how was the mission—" With that C-3PO and BB-8 scurried off.

Lila eyed from the side her parents conversation and when they spoke about Ben— her heart shattered.

Ben Solo was Lila's best friend, partner in crime, her brother.

But he still threw it all away for the First Order.

Lila cleared her throat and walked onto the Falcon, preparing it to take off.

When they arrived back on D'Qar, everyone was excited. What Lila was most excited for, was seeing Poe.

After she had got off the Falcon, she saw Poe reuniting with BB-8 giving the small droid a hug.

His eyes then averted upwards, to the Generals daughter who was getting off the Millennium Falcon.

"Lil'!" Poe exclaimed literally at the top of his lungs, sprinting over to her.

"Poe!" Lila ran also, meeting him in the middle.

The moment she was in arms reach Poe wrapped his arms around her torso and picked her up, swinging her around.

Lila let out a laugh, her arms wrapped around his neck.

"Poe, we thought you were dead."

He furrowed his eyebrows, "Dead? I thought you were dead!"

Lila felt a pair of eyes burning into the back of her head and whipped her head around, to see her father looking over at them curiously, with a raised eyebrow.

Han and Leia were awkwardly stood next to each other.

"Leia— who's that pilot that's currently with our daughter?"

"That's Commander Poe Dameron. They've been close since Lila arrived here."

Han looked him up and down, "How old is this guy? I mean Lila's what, twenty?"

Leia just chuckled, "I don't know Han. Ask him yourself if it bothers you that exceedingly much."

"Oh I certainly will. That guys got stud written all over him—"

"Poe's a great person— and an amazing pilot too, don't go over their and rip into him."

Han crossed his arms, "Hmph."

Poe smiled as he watched Lila pull away, his eyes glinting with joy.

"So what happened— I got thrown from the crash, woke up at night, no you, no Finn, no nothing. BB-8 told me you saved him."

Lila sighed, "Well first we end up going into Jakku and seeing BB-8 with this scavenger Rey, who actually stuck around with us until she got kidnapped by my brother. And then— we were being chased by the First Order and we hopped onto the Millennium Falcon that we found and got away. Then my Dad showed up—"

"Hold on, your dad. As in Han Solo?"

"Yes Poe. He's literally right behind me."

Poe gulped as he saw Han glaring daggers at him.

"Right, carry on."

"Then a bunch of gangs came that we had to fight off, then we went to Maz's castle and she told me this really weird thing which I'll tell you about later, then she gave me a lightsaber and I took out a bunch of Stormtroopers—"

"Wait— you used a lightsaber?"

Lila nodded.

Poe just grinned even wider.

"Then— you guys showed up and now we are here. But now we need to find Rey, Ren took her."

Poe let out a breath and nodded.

Lila smiled again at her best friend and Poe seemed to take it in a bit more then usual.

Lila was, really beautiful.

Why was Poe thinking this now? He's always thought she was gorgeous.

These feelings had been whirring around non stop since the night before they went to Jakku. But the thought of Lila dying, it scared him so much. And he figured that might've been the reason for him not being able to brush them off.

For the last year Poe has just been able to forget about the feelings he had for Lila.

Things had clearly changed.

Poe attempted to shrug it off and Lila grabbed his hand and pulled him along with her, "We need help to save Rey now so let's go speak to my mom. Finn you coming?"

Finn perked up at saving Rey and nodded.

They moved fast within the Resistance base and Poe found General Organa stood speaking quietly to Han.

"General Organa, sorry to interrupt—this is Finn, he needs to talk to you—"

Leia took his hand, "And I need to talk to you. That was incredibly brave, what you did. Renouncing the First Order, saving my daughter and this mans life."

Finn looked a little taken aback. But even though the attention was entirely on Finn, Poe still couldn't keep his eyes of Lila.

Ever since he thought he she was dead, something just switched in him. And he wanted, no, needed, to know what it was.

Leia could see Poe's eyes on her daughter for the whole conversation and smirked, knowing exactly what was happening.

They had a thorough conversation about everything Finn knew about the First Order, about their base, their plans ext.

Once the conversation had ended, Han approached Poe.

"Hello."

Poe, for the first time that she had ever seen, awkwardly, stood there, "Hello, Mr Solo."

Han eyed him up and down again, then saw his daughters look, telling him to stop whatever he was planning before it happened.

Han cleared his throat and just nodded at Poe, before returning back to Leia.

"I am so so sorry." Lila said quickly.

"It's okay." He brushed a stray strand of her hair out of her face. "God I'm so happy your alive."

Lila looked into his deep brown eyes, "I am too."

Poe felt his heart skip a beat.

What the hell was happening to him?

"C'mon, lets go back to my room. It's boring out here."

Poe nodded and followed her.

She opened the door to her room and threw herself on her bed.

Poe followed her and sat on it, watching her fiddle with the bear she always had next to her. That he knew Luke Skywalker had gifted her when she was born and she had kept it ever since.

"I can't believe your dad is here." Poe rolled down and lay next to her.

"I know right? It's crazy. I haven't seen him in so long."

Poe nodded and the two lay in a comfortable silence.

Lila sighed, "You really scared me Poe."

"I'm sorry."

He turned to face her and in that moment, he didn't know what the heck he was doing.

Lila didn't know what he was doing either.

So when he leaned in and kissed her.

She was absolutely shocked.

For the first few seconds, she kissed back. His lips were soft and fitted perfectly with hers, but then she quickly pulled away and ran out the room as fast as she could.

"Oh shit— Lila Wait! I'm sorry!"

Lila ignored him and kept walking down the corridors.

Poe just kissed her.

Where did it even come from?

She hadn't expected it in the slightest.

Poe just kissed her.

Lila was freaking out.
