Chapter 19 - Darkness...
Everything is dark now, great light was taken from us.

Stevie immediately ran to her dorm and slammed the door. She searched around in her drawers and found the journal and... A letter. She read the whole thing top to bottom and just... Cried. Was there something she could've done to stop this?

Ash walked somberly into her room, blinking in all her memories of Kirari.
"I should've known not to get attached to someone in a place where we literally have to kill people!" She thought bitterly.
Still watching Ash, Kirari's heart twisted. It hurt her to see her so upset. As Ash plopped down on the bed, she spotted something. A piece of paper. She got up and walked over to Kirari's desk, picking up the sheet of paper. There were words written on it, written by Kirari.
'Dear Ash,
I'm going to a classroom, someone asked me to meet them. If it's been a long time and I'm still not back, I may be dead. Keep sparkling, Petal.
~ Kirari'
Ash grasped the letter tightly, rereading the words over and over again. She felt like she was in a bottomless pit, falling down, down, down but the words that Kirari wrote were promising to save her. Tears sparkled in her eyes as she read the phrase 'Keep sparkling, Petal!'. Ash held the letter close to her as she collapsed on her bed and in that moment, she almost felt Kirari's presence with her. That was because Kirari was there, looking somberly at Ash and wishing she could embrace her, but alas... The living and the dead cannot mix.

Jay was in their room again, sitting on their bed and not really doing anything. There was a knock at their door. A similar knock to Terishi's but... Not the same.
"Come in." Jay mumbled.
"Hey.." Daiko walked in slowly.
"Hi." Jay was curled in the fetal position.
"You were, uh, close... With my sister, right?" He fiddled with his sleeve.
"Close, heh. You could say that." They rested their head on their knees.
Daiko looked down and sighed,"She really liked you."
Jay fiddled with their fingers,"I really liked her."
Daiko held out some papers,"I found these in her room."
"Hm?" Jay took the papers.
"Poetry, about you." Daiko told them.
"What?" Jay blinked.
"She wrote poetry sometimes, when she wasn't on stage and... I guess you inspired her." Daiko explained.
"... I'm not anything special." Jay's voice shook.
"You were to her." Daiko sat on the floor.
"... I..." Jay just stared at the poetry and began to tear up again.
"Sorry.." Daiko looked away.
"No, I..." Jay blinked away a tear and looked down at Daiko,"Thank you."
"Heh, you're welcome." He hummed as the rabbit hopped over.
Jay pulled the poetry close to them and closed their eyes as Daiko gently stroked the rabbit, only to get bitten.
Jay chuckled,"It bit Teri, too."
"That hurt." He held his finger.
Jay sighed,"That rabbit's a bitch. At least you don't have to live with it. One day it's gonna kill me in my sleep, I can tell."
"You've got me there." Daiko chuckled.
Jay smiled and stared at the poetry again,"I hope you don't mind but I think I need alone time right now."
"Oh, sure, I'll go.." Daiko nodded slowly, leaving Jay's dorm and clasp the door behind him.
Jay closed their eyes and held the poetry close to their chest. A mixture of sad and happy tears pouring down their face. Jay sighed and looked up at the ceiling.
"Teri? If you can hear me right now, I... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for pushing you away when I think we both needed it most. Maybe if I didn't... You'd still be here." They sighed and looked down at the poetry again,"I miss you."
The rabbit hopped past them, under the bed as Jay fiddled with their fingers.
"I'm really glad I got to inspire you. I'm surprised, too... I mean, I'm not anything special... I'm just... Me." Jay sighed, letting their shoulders fall,"And me isn't much."

"-And I never got to finish me 'Oh no, my table, it's broken' line." Kirari complained to Terishi.
Ray froze in place when he saw them, chuckling nervously,"Oh... H-hey, guys! It's been a... Bit."
"Ray." Terishi turned sharply.
"Missed me?" He asked.
Terishi clenched her fists and dove at Ray,"You bastard!"
Ray didn't dodge, he just let the pain inflict him.
"So, how did your 'Kirari is the main character' theory go? It's obviously not me, the main character hardly ever dies!" She spoke with a creepy grin.
"H-hey, get off him!" Mew rushed over and grabbed Terishi.
"Oooo, the first interesting thing that has happened here!"
"Lemme at him!" Terishi struggled.
"I needed a bullshit excuse to kill you, Kira. If I'm being honest, I wanted to give myself a reason to kill you. Now I realize the real reason I wanted to kill you both was to cause Despair!" Ray explained.
"Whatever, Walmart Lucifer." Kirari rolled her eyes.
"Hey, at least I'm cool. You're a fucking jewellery maker that did their job- what, twice?" Ray tossed back.
Crystal sighed and walked over,"Guys, we all have to get along now."
"Whatever." Kirari hummed,"I'mma go watch Ash now."
"Ah, the broken one who couldn't last two seconds without attacking another character." Ray hissed, looking at Crystal.
"Ray, shut up or I'll make Teri duct tape your mouth shut. I think she'd be more willing." Kirari shook her head.
"Yeah, Ray. Stop talking." Terishi pointed.
"Make me, Drama Queen. Get it? 'Cuz you're the Ultimate... Clown? No... Circus! The Ultimate Circus! Or was that your baby ass brother?" Ray taunted her.
"That's it!" Terishi grabbed his collar.
"Fight me, asshole! You won't." Ray grinned, shoving her.
"I will!" Terishi shook her head.
Ray rolled up his sleeves and threw his fedora as Terishi tossed her mask aside and raised her fists. Ray waited for her to make the first move. Terishi sighed before she lunged at him. Ray failed to dodge but got up off the ground as fast as he fell to Terishi's blow. Terishi shook the hair out of her face as she glared at Ray.
"I'm not gonna hit you, if that's what you're wondering." Ray chuckled.
"Like I trust that." Terishi spat.
"Fair enough. But do you think I'd really be that much of an asshole to beat you up after I murder you? The answer is yes. I won't do it though because it's hilarious to watch you attack me. Probably my only amusement until more people die. At least nobody's flirting up here." Ray hummed, walking over.
Terishi put her hands down,"I'm not doing this for your amusement, Ray."
"I thought you were an actress. Isn't amusing people your job?" Ray asked.
"No, lying is my job." She pointed."Amusing people is Dai's job."
"Wait, lying is also my job! We can be friends!" Ray remarked sarcastically.
"I know that's sarcasm but still, I have to decline." Terishi shook her head.
"Damn, hearts been broken so many times." He chuckled.
"I mean, if you didn't kill Kira and I then you could still have your girlfriend." Terishi shrugged.
"May I remind you, she hates me now. I killed one of her best friends a few hours ago." Ray rolled his eyes.
"Go look at her through the mirror, go see if she hates you." Terishi pointed.
"Fine then, I will." Ray flipped her off as he walked towards the mirror.
"Rude." Terishi scoffed.
Ray looked through the mirror, searching for Stevie. Soon enough, he found her, clutching the letter and sobbing.
"Damn, maybe I fucked up... Just a little.." Ray bit his lip.
"Understatement of the century!" Terishi pointed.
"Shut up, no one likes you!" Ray snapped,"Is Dimitri up here, by the way? I wanted to talk to him..."
"We actually have to talk to you about that..." Terishi trailed off,"He's not here."
"I was right... The Imposter! He's the Mastermind! The Traitor! The guy who runs this joint! Goddamnit!" Ray cursed.
"Why do you think I tried to kill him?" Scorpius questioned.
"You didn't try, you did." Ray stated.
"No, I killed a fake. The real Dimitri is still alive!" Scorpius pointed.
"... Oh, shit." Ray murmured.
"Exactly." She sighed.
"Let's hope Jeff and Stevie do something." Ray shook his head.
"We'll just have to wait and see.." Terishi sighed.
Ray backed away from the mirror,"I'm off to find Hell, I don't wanna be stuck in this godforsaken limbo forever."
"No, you're not!" Mew grabbed onto him.
"But why not?" Ray groaned in annoyance.
"Because I said so." They pointed.
