Stevie awoke again, not startled by her new surroundings anymore. How long has it been... Two days? She couldn't even be sure at this point.

Stevie pulled herself out of bed and quickly got dressed, avoiding waking up Monoyagi who was fast asleep on the floor.

She wore a pale yellow dress, down to her knees and pulled a black cardigan over shoulders as she tossed her clothes into the washing pile she'd made up.

"I'll get those sorted later." Stevie shook her head as she walked out of her room only to be greeted by... Ray?

"Oh, Ray, I-"

"Again, apologies for yesterday." He cut her off.

"It's alright, I already forgave you." Stevie assured him as she skipped ahead to the dining hall.

"Always an early riser?" Ray asked her.

"Mhm!" Stevie nodded,"Being in this stupid school can't change that."

"Well then, what do you suggest we make for breakfast?" Ray leaned against the counter.

"You're the Ultimate Chef, why are you asking me?" Stevie sighed.

Ray was taken aback slightly,"Well, yes but-"

Stevie giggled,"I'm kidding! Hehe, can you do sandwiches?"

"Obviously." Ray rolled his eyes as a tray was thrust into his arms.

"Then get on it." Stevie ordered.

Ray stood frozen momentarily before a small smile crept into his face,"Whatever you say, ma chére."

"You better not be insulting me, I don't know much French." Stevie glanced at him as she began slicing bread.

"I wouldn't dream of it." Ray shook his head.

By the time everyone was in the kitchen, the pair had finished their sandwiches with minimal catastrophe!

"You should get me to help next time." Ash chuckled,"I make a great casserole."

"I'll keep that in mind." Stevie nodded.

"Grr- I'm sick of this!" Monoyagi hopped up on the table.

"Eep!" Dawn jumped, nearly dropping their plate.

"Ugh, what do you want?" Crystal rolled her eyes.

"Exactly." Scott nodded,"We were huvin' a nice meal until you showed up."

"Well-"

"Why don't you go back to where you came from, huh?" Scorpius sighed, setting down her tablet.

"Guys, I think we should let her explain." Daiko spoke up.

"Wh-" Jay blinked in surprise.

"I agree with Daiko, maybe it's important." Terishi added.

Jay grumbled and sat back in her chair as Monoyagi cleared her throat.

"Thank you very much, Mr Magorobi." Monoyagi smiled,"Now, I have an important announcement!"

"Couldn't it have waited until after breakfast?" Kirari asked meekly.

"Nah, I don't want you throwing up your breakfast in excitement. That would just be silly!" Monoyagi laughed,"The announcement is... A motive!"

"A motive?" Akira cocked her head to the side,"A motive for what?"

"Well, Miss Satoshi, there's been no murder whatsoever! None at all!" Monoyagi put her hooves on her hips,"But Miss Hendrix informed me that the reason you haven't killed was because there was no motive!"

All eyes in the room suddenly landed on Stevie who shuffled uncomfortably in her seat.

"I'm s-sorry, I just-"

"Don't apologize." Ray stopped her,"Go on, ya piece of shit. What's our 'motive'?"

"I'm glad you asked, Mr Luciano!" Monoyagi clapped her hooves and suddenly, Dimitri was grabbed by a large metal chain.

"E-excuse me, Headmistress. What's g-going on?" Dimitri questioned, the concern clear in his demeanor.

"Well, for every six hours that a murder is not committed, a student will be taken away and trapped in my secret room!" Monoyagi winked,"Once a majority of you are taken by me, you will all die!"

Dimitri paled and he was yanked backwards by the chains,"H-help!"

"Dimitri!" Jeff reached out to him but... Jeff was gone.

"As you folks can see, Mr Suzuki was my first victim. Hehe, don't worry, I'll keep him all nice for you!" Monoyagi cackled before disappearing.

"D-did that... Did that just happen?" Sancia gasped as Dawn rubbed her back.

"Y-yeah..." She nodded.

"This all has to be a bluff." Jeff shook their head,"She's not gonna kill us all, where's the fun in that?"

"I'm sure some sicko would enjoy it." Jay muttered.

"Well-"

"Ugh, if you two start arguing one more time I'll set you both on fire!" Akira slammed her hands down on the table.

The room went silent.

"I-I wouldn't actually!" Akira quickly shook her head but the room began to quietly disperse.

Once they were alone, Stevie patted her back,"I believe you, don't worry."

"Thanks Stevie." Akira smiled up at her.
