"Is Steppenwolf there?" Diana spoke. She startled the rest of us and Victor started to

Make some odd sounds. When he brought the map down to where we all could see it Victor apologized.
"Sorry," Victor apologized. Then, he went right into work mode.

"It's Porzenov, in Northern Russia," Victor spoke, showing where the boxes were on the map.
"The Nuclear Plant had a meltdown 30 years ago," Bruce spoke while walking in. He looked as though he was ready to go, and that was the case for all of us.
"Uh-huh, There have been some attempts to resettle nearby but it looks like really rough sledding," Barry replied to Bruce's statement. He keeps working with the laptops as he continues,
"Who picks this place to put down roots?" Barry questions. His innocence was adorable.
"People that have been kicked out of everywhere else," Arthur replied. The conversation took an even darker turn than before.
"The Earth starts changing, it'll hit them first," Victor spoke. Trying to get the discussion back to where it should be.
"How long have we got?" Bruce questioned.
"A few hours," Victor replied.
"Transport won't fly that fast," Bruce muttered to himself.
"It will for me," Victor spoke, with a smirk on his face.

With that, we were climbing the ship.

"The Unity brings all three boxes together in perfect sync," Victor explains. The plane moves a bit, we all fall sideways, trying to keep our balance.
"Its power builds until it can't be contained. But if I can cause a delay between each box, even for a nanosecond, its energy will cascade. Form a loop," Victor finished.
"They'll feed on each other," Bruce replied. He was clearing his understanding.
"And that's it? We just pull them apart? No fuss, no muss?" Barry questioned. We all were a little hesitant that was just the case.
"Separating the boxes is still gonna cause a massive surge. I have to be there," Victor replied. Diana and I both step forward.
"But you guys should think about getting clear," Victor finished. There was not a chance in hell that I was leaving a teammate behind. No matter what the cost.

"We're with you 'till it's done," Diana and I spoke. Smiling at each other when we realized we spoke the exact same statement at the exact same time.
"Honestly I think we're gonna be dead way before that. And you know what? I don't mind. It's
an honorable end. But we've gotta shut Steppenwolf down. Superman's a no-show," Arthur spoke. I had no clue what had gotten into him, but I did not like it.

"You've got no powers. No offense," he points to Bruce.

"This guy might be working for the enemy. We don't know," he points to Victor.

"You're tripping over your feet, and mine," he points to Barry.

"You always play for both sides and are extremely uptight," he points to Diana. I did not want to hear what horrible things that Arthur had to say about me. I was already looking down in shame, waiting for the horrible word to come out.
"And oof, you're perfect. You are it for me, you are the woman of my dreams, my queen. I don't care if Superman is your brother, I am going to fight for you. I want you to be mine and I love the time that we spent together before all of this started. I would lay down my life for you, and I love you," Arthur finished, he had pointed towards me, and I stood there in shock. He loves me?

"You know what? I don't wanna die. I'm young. There's shit that I wanna do. I just feel like, I didn't really embrace the sea or the land. I've been a loner my whole life. But being part of something bigger, like this. Maybe I'm scared because I'm meant to...," Arthur speaks but Bruce points below Arthur.

Arthur looks under him and see's the Lasso of Truth. With a look of anger on his face, he threw the lasso back at Diana.

"I think that was beautiful. What did you think Autumn?" Diana pointed the question towards me teasingly. I blushed to myself and Arthur looked at me for a moment, and then he started to pull me away. Before we could talk in private, he told Barry,
"You say a word about this, and I'll meet every piranha I know," threatened Arthur. I hit his chest and then Arthur started to drag me away again.
"I honestly didn't hear anything after "'We're all gonna die.'" Barry replied. Making me laugh to myself.

Who knew that what happened next would set my future in stone.
