Chapter 12

I could hear knocking against the door as both Arthur and I were waking up. I didn't want to leave the comfort of his arms, that would mean that both of us are out of our little bubble of happiness. Facing the world ending problems once again. When the knocking got even more insistent, I got out of bed and put on a t-shirt that I found on the floor. When I opened the door, I saw that it was Diana who was knocking.

At first, she looked confused. Then she brought her eyes down to what I was wearing, and her eyes widened in shock. When she looked inside, her eyes looked as though they were going to pop out of her skull. She looked down and she mumbled to me,

"Can you come downstairs? We are making a decision and it involves you," she spoke. She spoke and left so fast that she would but Barry to shame. With a shrug of my shoulders, I closed the door and looked down at the t-shirt I picked up.

I blushed when I realized that this was Arthur's. I looked towards the couch and saw that Arthur was awake, I looked down and started blushing, recalling the events that occurred mere hours ago. I started to play with the hem of the shirt and I heard him start to get up and walk towards me.

I still kept my head downwards.

I felt his hands on my waist and lifted me up, and I started laughing in shock. He had a small smile on his face, and when we made eye contact, the world once again had paused for a moment.

"Hi," I spoke up. He started to smirk in my direction and I was going to ask what he was doing. Until I felt him fall back on the couch, making me shout in surprise. When he had finally landed he replied to what I said.

"Hello gorgeous," he replied once again with his permanent smirk. I smiled to myself at the nickname, and he nuzzled his head to my neck. I laughed out loud and he kept nuzzling into my neck, make me laugh since I was ticklish.

"Arthus, what are we going to do?" I spoke up. He didn't' look too worried about what I had said, and that made me even more worried.

"Baby, I am in love with you. You told me hours ago that you love me back. There is absolutely nothing to worry about, I just have a question to ask you," He finished. I Was worried that he just wants me for my body, or that he needed time away from me before we started dating. It has been that way for most of my life, so I was used to it.

"Will You be my girlfriend gorgeous?" Arthur finally spoke up. I looked up with my eyes open in shock, and he was smiling at me, his eyes showing nervousness. My mind was not reacting to what my body was doing, I could not speak to save my life.

I decided to just nod to what he asked me he had a mindblowing smile. He grabbed my face and kissed me, pouring his love once again. Though this time, it all felt real, it didn't feel like a dream anymore. I knew that Arthur and I were going to be happy together, and I was excited about our future.

If only I had known that in the next couple hours, my life would change drastically again, and for the better once again.
