I stretched and yawned as I turned off my alarm.

'Time for another day at work.' I sigh.

I got ready for the day and went to work. I worked at the Midtown Precinct south.

"Morning Todd!" I said to the person at the desk

"Morning Erica!" He said

I got on my Police Uniform and grabbed my gear and went and signed out a radio.

I got into my police car and I waited for my partner Andrew.

When he got in we started the car and left. Partroling the City of New York.

Our light turned on as we pulled someone over for an expired tags.

"Good morning sir, how are you today?" I asked the gentleman.

"Good." He said

"Can I get your license and registration?" I asked.

He handed it to me. "Thank you sir I'll be right back."

I checked the license and it was clear. I handed it back to the Guy.

"Sir the reason why we pulled you over is because your license is expired." I said

"I know officer. I'm on my way to get a new one right now." He says

"I'll let you off with a warning sir, get it fixed." I said

"Have a good day. You're free to go." I said and walked back to the police car.

We did a few more traffic stops

'Units we have a police chase in progress' the radio said

'Unit 11 responding.' I said. We raced to wear the police chase was happending and eventually the guy jumped out and started running. I ran and tackled him.

I put him in handcuffs. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney, if you can't afford one, one will be provide free of charge." I said and got the man up and put him in the police car.

I drove him down to the station and put him in one of the jail cells. And I did some paperwork

Me and my partner went out for a little bit more then came back because our shift was ending.

I was gonna go out but Todd stoped me

"Hey can you get us some dounts? It's for Bob's retirement." He asks me.

"Sure! See you Tomarrow." I said and started to walk home.
