Is that too late to say?
I know I have put you down many times
I couldn't even know there was something, along the lines.

I expected you to understand me
When I couldn't even see you
I was supposed to support you in your difficult phase,
While I was busy setting stupid frays.

Still I left you,
Like a loser that I am
I know I ain't helping
All that I can do is write such poems which will never reach you.

But I've already said sorry a thousand times in my heart,
hoping that you would hear me,
I just don't want you to hate me ,
Although my deeds will only drift you apart.

And please stay strong,
You deserve so much more,
You'll eventually gain all those things you hope for,
And I'll be there to see that, of course from a far off.

Just know you had, has and will always have that special place in my heart which belongs to you alone.
