Hannah's Point of View

It's been about a month since I caught Al cheating. The first few days I was miserable. I didnt even get out of bed let alone take a shower. But gradually over the weeks, I was able to get up with the help of Jules. I'm still feeling like shit though.

I was sitting on the couch eating a bowl of cereal and watching old episodes of criminal minds when my phone rang. I looked down at the username and saw it was Jules os I picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hey girl, how are you"

"You just saw me this morning, we live together, and I just got cheated on, but yeah I'm just peachy"

"Oh right sorry, what are you doing?"

"The same thing I've been doing for the past month, crying, sleeping, and watching criminal minds, you already know that″

"Okay sorry″

"Jules, what's up, what do you want?"

"Okay look, don't say no alright?"

"Jules, what is it?"

"I and David wanna take you somewhere"

"You talking to David again?"

"Yeah, we finally started talking again and I told him I liked him, and guess what? he liked me back, can you believe it?"

"Oh wow, so surprising, now what do you mean you and him want to take me somewhere?"

"Well, we wanted you to go outside you know, get some fresh air. Were worried about you girly"

"First, don't ever call me girly again, and second I don't want to bye"

"Nooo, Hannah, come on, you've been cooped up in the house for a month, we're not asking you to run a marathon, just come with us for a little while.″

"I do go outside"

"Dumping the trash doesn't count"

"Where is this place anyway?"

"Its a surprise"

"Hell no"

"Please"

"You know I hate surprises"

"I know but please Hannah, for me, I promise your gonna like it"

"Fine"

"Yayyyy, well be there in about thirty minutes byeee," she said hanging up the phone

I didn't get ready until after ten minutes. I just decided to throw on a big hoodie, my hair down, and some air forces.

"Hannah, you in there woman?"

I heard David yell downstairs as I was grabbing my bag. As much as I hated his best friend right now, I still missed David.

″Coming"

I said running downstairs to hug him. When he saw me he picked me up and hugged.

"I missed you small fry, how you been, you know besides crying your eyes out?"

"I'm fine, now come on before I change my mind about going″

"Okay, let's go, Jules is in the car already"

"Where are we going anyway?"

"Like I would tell you"

I locked the door and went out to the car with Jules and David

"Hey Hannah"

Jules said hugging me as I was getting in the car.

"Hey, Jules, where the fuck are we going?"

"Just wait″

Jules had the kind of car where I couldn't see anything from inside, so that didnt help

The whole ride there all I did was listen to Jules and David talk about what they were doing tomorrow. They were going to some weddings with some people they know. I was not in the mood to talk or listen to relationships so I asked them to turn the radio on.

It took about thirty to forty minutes for us to arrive.

"Okay were here"

as soon as she said that I immediately got out of the car. I was shocked when I saw where we were

"The movie theater?"

"yep, SURPRISE!!!!!!. you like?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm just surprised. why are we going to the movie theater in the middle of the day?"

"cant I just bring my best friend to watch a movie?"

"I guess"

"Okay ladies, I got our tickets, what do you want to watch, "Fatman", "Come Away", The Climb".or "The War With Grandpa"

David said coming back from getting our tickets. I didnt want to watch anything. So I just chose randomly,

"Um how about The Climb that sounds interesting"

"The Climb it is″

We walked into the movie theater and each got some snacks. Then we went into the room that was playing our movie. When I was about to sit down I saw the second person I hated in the world right now. Al Fucking Capone.

"Ahh hell Nah what the fuck is he doing here, get his ass out of here. Is this a fucking set up? I don't want to be around a dude that chooses plastic over real a...."

"Hannah please, there are people here, we don't want to get kicked out. Just one movie okay, please just one?" Jules said looking at me pleadingly. I was glad Al didnt look at me. I don't know whether I would have attacked or cried.

"Fine"

I sat down as the movie started playing.

All while the movie was playing I wasn't paying attention at all. My mind was just focused on literally anything else.Al ,Selena ,Food,painting ,Al. Eventually, I wore myself out and found myself dozing off.

By the time I woke up the movie was showing the credits and everyone was clapping and laughing. I'm guessing it was a comedy because the crowd was laughing their asses off. Then the crowd starting getting up. Eventually, they all left and it was just us four in the movie theater.

"So uh thank you, Hannah, for taking me outside I enjoyed it, bye,"

I said taking my purse and trying to walk out as soon as possible. Just as I was about to walk out the door I heard something playing on the screen,

"Don't you want it? don't you want to feel it, baby?"

I knew whose voice that was from a mile away. I turned around and saw Selena And Al larger than life on the screen.

"What the hell is this?"

"It's the footage of Selena and Al from that day with their meeting. Selena wanted to press charges over you for what you did. So I became your lawyer, and I had to check the footage for evidence. While I was watching it I decided to play it back from the beginning,″

Jules said looking at me, still from her seat

I stayed where I was next to the door while the video played

"No Selena, stop, I came here to discuss the investment, but you had other plans so I'm gonna go."

"Oh come on we both know that's not why you're here," she said walking behind his chair

"Yes, I came here wanting to invest. Not come to satisfy a whore. So I thought wrong, this meeting is over, and ill have my ambassador talk to you. "

he said getting his coffee and walking to the door. When he was about to open the door, Selena walked over and pushed him to close the door, causing the coffee to spill all over his shirt and tie.

"FUCK, you psycho, you just fucking burned me"

Then he pulled the tie of him and unbuttoned some of his buttons before it caused a burn

″Come on baby, what's stopping you, that ugly ass woman you call a girlfriend, pl..." he cut her off

"Look little bitch, I usually try to keep my manners and remain a gentleman when it comes to women. But that all stops when you talk about my fucking girlfriend. Your plastic ass can never even come close to her. Don't even put her name in a sentence with yours. "

Then the door handle started moving and she took the chance to jump on him which made him fall back on the chair, making it look as she was in his lap. Then the video went blank.

I was crying now. Standing next to the door with tears coming down my eyes. All four of them were looking at me, waiting for me to say something. But I couldn't.
