Let's start off with the intro, shall we? The introduction is strong, with a clear voice as to what's going on within the book. Nothing really all that confusing, easy to read and follow, catching hook. Everything is looking good in the intro.

The overall body is also fine. Good grammar, spacing, pacing, punctuation. Nothing really obvious to me that needs to be corrected. I like the journal entries, those are a nice edition to the story.

Now, one thing I have in terms of suggestions. I like the journal entries following along with Luke. But maybe we could see more of Luke's life in action? I think it would be fun to read about his run that qualified him for the big race. That would be interesting to read about, or his first party. How he talks, his interactions with others. That would fun to see.
