"Hello Annabeth." Arachne's cold voice rang through her mind. "Funny seeing you here." The spider gestured around her. "Where am I?" Annabeth spoke sternly trying to loose the shake in her voice. "My new home." Arachne twirled around her home. "Why am I here?" Annabeth felt for her sword. "To watch this." Archane spoke as she turned into a beautiful young girl. "W-what...how?" Annabeth stared. "Your mom, Aphrodite and I came to a deal." Arachne smiled sheepishly. "What sort of deal?" Annabeth's eyes filled with concern. "I regain my human form, if I steal your boyfriend's heart from you." Arachne snapped as Percy appeared behind her. "Your l-ying my m-mom would never do that. Neither would Aphrodite." She spoke unsure of herself. "Oh really?" Arachne laughed before turning to kiss Percy.

Annabeth shot out of bed. She was covered in a cold sweat. Images of Arachne filled her head. She got up and ran to Percy's cabin, while knocking on the doors she fainted to be caught by strong arms. She again awoke, this time to Percy's sea green eyes. "Aa-rachne." She stutterd helplessly. "It's okay babe." He spoke kissing Annabeth lightly. Then everything was all right.
