Percy ran around his apartment at 11:20 a.m searching for the gift. He tore up his room until he realized the big red box was under his bed. He reached in to grab it then ran to Annabeth's apartment. Percy climbed up her fire escape and stared into the foggy window. He wiped the fog with his sleeve and saw a sound asleep Annabeth. It was now 11:50. Percy opened the window and crept into Annabeth's room. He flicked her lights on and stood in front of her bed with the gift. 11:59. "Hey wise girl." Percy called. Annabeth woke with a start. "Why in the Hades are you in my room at 12:00 a.m?" Annabeth yawned through an annoyed expression. "I wanted to spend Valentine's Day with my girl!" Percy placed the box on her lap. Annabeth handed him in return a big blue box resting on her nightstand. "You open first." Annabeth smiled at the box. She had obviously taken time into picking Percy out the perfect gift. Percy happily unwrapped the blue box to reveal a statue of a wave. It was a light blue wave with a small black button. He gingerly pressed it and a voice recording came off. "I love you!" Annabeth's voice rang out reapeditvely from the wave statue. "Thank you so much!" Percy kissed Annabeth. "Now open yours!" Annabeth gingerly opened the big box to find a laptop. "P-percy! You got me the laptop I wanted!?!" Annabeth shouted and ran to embrace Percy. They hugged and kissed and Percy ended up leaving at 6 a.m. When he got home he pressed his wave statue and a different message popped up. "Hey Perce! It's me!" Annabeth spoke through the wave statue. "Annabeth?" Percy questioned the statue. "Ya! I programmed this as communication device for us!" Annabeth cheered on the other end. "That's perfect because now I can talk to my favorite girl everyday!" Percy closed his eyes and fell back into his bed. "Best Valentine's Day ever!" Percy spoke into his pillow before falling asleep.
