Percy woke up to  a high pitched scream. He shot out of bed and immeaditley ran to the Athena cabin to check on Annabeth. She was huddled in the corner of the cabin, shaking back and forth. "Annabeth, what's wrong?" Percy crouched down next to her. "S-ssspider!!" She shouted pointing at the creature roaming her dresser. "It's okay, I got it." Percy ran to the dresser and smashed it with his fist. He then washed his hands and the arachnid was gone. "Is it dead?" Annabeth shook. "Yes, it's dead." Percy laughed sitting next to her. "You're seriously that afraid of spiders?" Percy laughed. "At least I'm not afraid of floaties!" Annabeth laughed. "THEY'RE SCAREY!" Percy shouted. "Aweee is little Percy scared of children swim aides?" Annabeth smiled. Percy noded glumly. "Come here." Annabeth kissed his cheek.
