Piper sat on her couch cuddling her hot cocoa. A winter blizzard kept her inside her tiny apartment. She took slow sips at the hot drink when she heard a commotion outside. She set her drink down and rushed over to her small icy window. Rubbing her sleeve against the foggy window, Piper saw two cars. One was flipped on it's side, and the other was upside down. The scarey part was that Piper recognized the upside down car. The bright red car was Jason's. Piper opened her window which led to her fire escape. She scrambled down the slippery steps and ran to the cars. She smashed her fist against the car window, nothing happened, so she picked up a nearby rock and harshly snacked the car window. It shattered, and she slipped her small frame into the car. Jason was strapped in his car unconscious with a bloody streak down his forehead. Piper unfastened his seatbelt and dragged him out of his seat. She kicked the car door open, and pulled Jason out of the car. Struggling to lift him, Piper did something she was the best at. She placed Jason on the floor and spoke two words. "Wake up." Her melodic voice tickled Jason's ears. She repeated this action until a nod escaped Jason and he sat up. "Piper?" He spoke confused as he clutched his bloddy forhead. The police came, followed by an ambulance which took Jason and the other car's passengers to the emergency room. Jason was rushed in by confused doctors and nurses. "Doctor, how is he alive? That blow was an inescapabable death!" A young nurse questioned as she cautiously placed something on Jason's head. "I don't know. A young girl pulled him out, then he miracously awoke." The doctor examined Jason. "It looks like he is only injured. No brain damage and know major problems." The doctor chatted with the nurse. After a minute or so of cleaning Jason's wound he was free to go. He confronted Piper who was in the waiting room. "You saved my life." Jason stared at her with wonderful awe. "You risked yours to visit me." Piper stared back. "I don't mind risking my life for you." Jason kissed her nose lightly. "I don't mind risking my hot cocoa to save you." Piper smiled and kissed him back.
