This is the first of two requests made by Djheat100.

This one being another one shot chapter, this time with Bronya so hope y'all enjoy.

It was a peaceful night at the St. Freya dorms, as dinner had already been prepared by Mei as everyone had gather around the dining room and were eating what was made.

Dinner time went by smoothly with the usual scenario of everyone eating normally while Kiana scarfed down every plate she was given in a matter of seconds.

Eventually everyone finished eating as Mei gathered all the plates and began to wash them.

With dinner being done everyone went off in their separate ways as Himeko and Theresa stepped onto the back patio for a chat, Fu Hua walked upstairs to her room, and Kiana immediately sat on the couch to play some games.

Bronya was going to sit with Kiana and play games alongside her until she had noticed Alex stepping out of the dorms and outdoors.

Normally she wouldn't really question it but she knew that Alex wasn't really one to often step outside, especially st this hour so her curiosity was definitely peaked.

"Hey Bronya come on! Play me! Play me!" Said Kiana in a cheerleader like manner as she wanted to play against her.

"Apologies Kiana Idiotka but The Bronya doesn't feel like winning every game against you tonight." Said the girl in her usual monotone manner.

"H-Huh!? I don't lose to you every game! H-Hey stop walking away and come play me Bratnya!" Shouted Kiana as the Siberian girl walked away and went outdoors.

As she stepped onto the front door patio, she saw Alex just up ahead as she called out to him.

"Subject Alex." She said.

The boy turned around to face her as he responded back.

"Hm? Oh, Bronya. What're you doing out so late?" He asked.

"The Bronya could ask Subject Alex the same thing back." Responded the girl.

The boy chuckled at her response.

"Got me there. Well, I'm heading out. Just felt going on a quick walk around the block." He said.

Bronya responded with a head nod as she kept quiet for a couple of seconds before talking about.

"May The Bronya accompany Subject Alex on his walk?" She asked.

"Uh, sure I don't see why not." He said.

Bronya smiled as she walked down the patio steps and stood next to the boy as the two began their walk along the block of numerous dorms.

For a majority of the walk the two kept quite, just kinda minding their own business and enjoying how calm and peaceful St. Freya was at night.

Eventually they arrived at a shoreline that Valkyries would frequent occasionally whenever they wanted to unwind and just enjoy the sights and sounds of this small beach.

"Wanna sit?" Asked Alex.

Bronya nodded and the two sat down at a nearby bench as the two just stared into the distance, the ocean shining off of the moonlight.

The two kept silent, not really knowing what to say in the moment.

That was until Bronya remembered a conversation she had with Alex when he briefly stated how he too was a part of Cocolia's Orphanage at the same time as Bronya.

Ever since then she had been curious as to how he felt under her care and why she never saw him once during her time there.

"Subject Alex. Permission to ask a question?" Asked the girl.

"Sure. Fire away." He said.

"Remember when Subject Alex had informed The Bronya that he was a part of Матушка Cocolia's Orphanage?" She asked.

"Yeah I remember. What of it?" He asked back.

"How was Subject Alex's time in her care? Why did none of us ever see you once?" She asked.

Alex sighed and took a moment to gather himself before he finally spoke.

"Well, my feelings on her and her orphanage are rather conflicted. On one hand, I'll always feel indebted and grateful for her for taking me in at an extremely young age. On the other hand though, after finding out about her role and purpose for the Orphanage, and then finding out about the aftermath of the experiment she had performed on you and Seele Vollerei, I could never forgive her for doing that." He stated.

"How'd Subject Alex find out about the aftermath?" She asked.

"That night after you had lost the use of your legs and Seele was permanently lost, Матушка could hardly sleep at all that night. She had left the door to her office open when she stepped out to take a break. I walked inside to see why she was more busy than normal. That was when I saw the report on the incident. Even to this day, I still can't fully believe what I had read on that day. That was when I made the decision to escape. I knew I'd be at risk." Explained Alex.

Bronya kept quiet, taking in all the information Alex had told her, now finally knowing how he truly felt about the Orphanage and why he left.

"S-Sorry for dumping all of this on you. I just figured that since you were also apart of the Orphanage that you'd understand somewhat about how I felt." Said the boy.

"No it's okay. The Bronya doesn't mind, though The Bronya is curious as to why you we rarely saw you at the Orphanage." She asked.

"I really don't know why, but Матушка always referred to and called me a special child. A special case, whatever that meant. She always gave me extra attention and care. Whenever I saw you all play and asked if I could join, Матушка always told me that I'd be safer and better off on my own. I've always assumed that was part of why I'm so, indifferent about most things. Being alone so often just kinda made me view things in a different light than most." He said.

Bronya then placed a hand on Alex's hand as she looked him directly in the eyes.

"The Bronya understands. Ever since the experiment, it's been hard to be true to the Bronya's emotions due to Bronya's lack of cognitive emotions. The Bronya also feels the same way about Матушка. Always grateful for her care, but also against her for what she's done. The Bronya was just blind to her true actions until Bronya had defected to St. Freya." Explained Bronya.

Alex didn't know how to respond to that for a while before smiling and holding hands with Bronya.

"Thank you Bronya. It's, nice to have someone to relate with. I, really appreciate it." He said.

Bronya nodded, and what followed next was minutes of awkward silence, with the two not breaking eye contact or uttering a single word.

They just continued to hold each other's hands and look into one another's eyes, gaining slight blushes which darkened a little every passing second.

It got to a point where the two knew what they should do next, however they were unsure if the other was gonna be okay with it.

They gave each other a look, a look that asked the other if they were okay with what was gonna happen next.

After a nod by both people, they closed their eyes and leaned in, their lips finally connecting as they kissed.

The kiss lasted a couple of minutes before the two finally separated, hugging each other afterwards.

"I, I love you Bronya." Said Alex.

Bronya simply smiled and reciprocated back.

"The Bronya also loves Subject Alex." She responded.

After hugging and sharing one more, this time quick kiss, they got up and walked back to their dorm, ending their romantic night.
