"Well crap. All three invited me for the day." Said Alex as he started to think it over.

Eventually he made his decision as he responded to Mei.

Alex: Sure I don't mind. I'll be on my way.

Mei: Alright. I'll see you soon.

Alex would put his phone away as he stood up and had a quick stretch before leaving the bench and fountain square as he headed back to the school.

Not too long after that he walked up the steps towards the entrance and as he did, he saw Mei standing there.

"Hey. I'm here." He said, calling her attention as the girl turned around to face him as she had changed out from the maid outfit and into a different outfit.

"Nice to see you Alex." She said as the boy remained quiet and just looked at her as Mei noticed this and blushed a little.

"Do you, like it?" She asked in a shy tone.

"Hm? Uh, yeah I guess. Looks nice." He said as Mei nodded.

"Thanks."

"So, what do you wanna do?" Asked Alex as Mei began to think this over.

"Well, why don't we look around first? I'm sure we'll find something that'll catch our interest."

"Alright then. After you."

The two would walk inside the school and began to walk along the hallways.

As they did, they passed by a few pairs and groups of students as they saw the two and began whispering to one another, obviously assuming that the two were hooked up and on a date.

Alex simply paid no attention and ignored it while Mei admittedly was a little embarrassed but kept it to herself as to not make it obvious.

After a bit of walking, the two came across a class that had a lie detector test.

"Hm? The heck kind of class would do something like this? Couldn't this be easily used as a way to pry into someone's privacy?" Asked Alex.

"I think it could be fun. After all I don't really have much to hide anyways. What about you? Got anything to hide Alex?" She asked.

Alex looked at her, feeling a hint of suspicion in her voice as he sighed.

"Alright then we'll do it. I got nothing to hide anyways." He said.

The two would walk in as in the classroom was simply a table with the lie detector machine on it as it was hooked up to a projector showing the results of whenever the machine detected a lie or not.

Next to the machine were a few cards, seemingly prompts to ask questions for whoever is being lie tested.

'Simlple setup but you'd at least think there'd be someone here to make sure the machine ain't broken or something.' Thought Alex as he looked around and saw no one in the classroom aside from them two.

"So, who's gonna go first?" He asked.

"I'll go." Said Mei as she sat at the desk and attached it to her wrist, taking a deep breathe.

"Okay I'm ready. Ask away."

"Alright then here goes."

Alex would grab the flash cards from the table and shuffle them a bit before beginning.

"Alright. Let's start simple. Do you enjoy life here at St. Freya?"

"Absolutely."

Alex looked at the screen and saw no response.

"Okay true. Next, do you enjoy living with your current dorm mates?"

"Definitely."

He looked and again no response.

"True again. Moving on. Is there anything you're stressing over whether it be about school or in your personal life?"

"U-Um, yes."

No response.

"Oh really? Sorry to hear that. Don't worry I won't pry into it."

"Thank you."

"Next. Hm? Ugh. Of course they'd have something like this. I'm skipping this one."

"Go ahead and read it."

"You sure. It's pretty personal."

"Like I said, I have nothing to hide. I don't mind."

"Alright if you say so. Uh, is there anyone you currently have a crush on?"

As soon as he asked that, Mei gained a massive blush as she began to stutter.

"W-W-What!? Who would leave a question like that!?"

"That's why I wanted to skip it. Also calm down you're gonna mess up the detector." He said as Mei began to take deep breathes.

"Look, I'm gonna go ahead and ski-."

"Y-Yes. I do."

"Hm?"  Alex looked and saw no response yet again.

"I appreciate the courage. Next one...............jesus christ."

"What is it now?"

"Apparently whoever wrote these questions were confident no one would say no to the crush question. This one says, is your crush someone on campus or off?"

Mei would just sigh before taking another deep breath.

"On campus." She said as no response was detected.

Alex would move onto the next question and upon reading it would immediately tear the card apart.

"Alright I think that's enough. It's my turn." He said.

Mei nodded as she removed it from her wrist as she got up and shuffled the cards as Alex sat on the desk and attached the machine to his wrist.

Once Mei had finished shuffling the cards, it was time to begin her turn of questioning Alex.

"Are you currently satisfied with where you're at right now?"

"Uh, yeah I guess. Don't really have no regrets." He said as it didn't go off.

"Okay. Do you wish you had better friends than what you currently have?"

"Damn. This person has some issues. Also no I don't. I'm perfectly fine hanging out with you girls."

Again no response from the machine.

"True. Okay."

Mei went to the next question, but instead of reading it she decided to take things into her own hands.

"Do you happen to like anyone at the moment?" She said, asking a question that wasn't on the card.

"Gonna have to be more specific with the word like." Said Alex but seeing how Mei was staring at him, he quickly put two and two together.

"Oh that kind of like. Uh, no not really interested in anyone."

For the first time, the machine began to go off as on the projector the readings began to spike as Mei gasped.

"T-That's the first lie!" She said.

"False reading. Move on." Bluntly said Alex, not wanting to dwell on it any longer.

Mei would move onto the next question and again pretend to read what was on the card.

"Is the person you like someone in school or out?"

"Out."

The machine went off as before Mei could answer a fifth question, Alex immediately took off the machine.

"I think that's enough questions. Come on let's go."

The boy got up and turned to leave as Mei nodded and placed the cards down, following suit.

Before they exited the room however, Mei would grab Alex's arm, spinning him around and pinning him against the wall as she placed an arm besides his head.

Alex naturally was caught off guard by this and immediately was confused.

"Uh w-what're you doing?" He said, staring into Mei's eyes as she had a massive blush on her face.

A part of her couldn't believe she was doing this but for some reason, she really wanted to know.

"Tell me." She said.

"Tell you what?"

"Who you like in this school. Tell me." Said Mei as Alex now blushed a ton.

"W-What!? No way that's extremely personal! Nothing against you obviously b-but I can't say!"

"Please Alex..............I promise I won't tell anyone. I just, really want to know." Pleaded Mei.

Alex was really conflicted on what to do since he was really adamant on not speaking, though the look he saw on Mei's face clearly showed that she was more adamant than he was.

Figuring that he really had no choice and that Mei was probably the most trust worthy person he knew, he decided that he might as well tell her.

"F-Fine I'll talk....." He said as Mei nodded and kept quiet, awaiting his answer which would soon come.

".....................I-It's you.....Mei......." He said quietly.

Mei heard and for a moment was a little shocked and in disbelief.

"W-What........?"

"The person I like..........is you....M-Mei......."

The girl almost didn't know how to react, standing there in complete shock as Alex figured that now the cat was out of the bag, that he'd make a move.

He moved off of the wall, stepping forward and embracing Mei into a hug as this broke her trance, returning the hug back.

The two would hug one another for a while before separating but keeping their hands on one another.

They'd then lean in close and give one another a kiss that felt like it lasted a lifetime.
