Currently Alex was completely baffled at the situation he found himself.

Here he thought what Pardo had handed him was just a simple box for him to return to the lobby but instead it was far from that as now this green haired lady just accused him of stealing something despite it clearly not being his fault.

"Does the thief have any words for the crime he just committed against me~?" She asked in a foreboding voice.

"Uh, yeah I have some words. This isn't my damn fault lady. Don't immediately jump to conclusions." He retorted back, clearly being upset to having been accused as a thief as the girl had a small look of shock.

"Oh my, a feisty one as well. No one ever usually talks back to me like that. Either you're more than what you seem, or you're just asking for a death wish~."

The girl slowly made her way to Alex, slowly circling around him, seemingly inspected him much to the boy's uneasiness as he tried to back away.

"Hmm...............you certainly are interesting. Here I thought the Herrscher girl would be an excellent lab rat, but it seems fate has blessed me with a second one as well. You, boy. Come with me." She said.

"What the? You just falsely accused me of stealing and now you just expect me to follow you?" He asked.

"Oh no I don't expect you to......" She trained before slowly tracing her clawed fingers right under his chin. "I 'demand' you to~."

'Here I thought the nun was off putting. This girl is a freaking maniac.' Thought Alex.

"Alex, go with her." Said Mei.

"Huh? You're joking."

"She won't change her mind so just go through with it."

The boy just sighed but knew Mei's judgment was likely trustworthy.

"Alright alright fine, I'll go."

"Thanks lab rat~." Said the girl before Mei gave her a serious look.

"Mobius. If you try anything with him, then just be warned that you'd better avoid me at ALL costs. Understood?" She warned, also inadvertently revealing the girl's name.

"Yeah yeah. Whatever you say lab rat." Said Mobius, nonchalantly agreeing to listen before motioning Alex to follow her as she walked away.

The boy, having no other choice, followed the snake lady as she led him to a hallway on the other side of the lobby as this one was far darker and dimly lit than the other one.

The walk lasted for a few minutes before they approached the end of the hall as there stood a single lone door which had a sign on it that read, "The Snake's Den: Access Forbidden".

Mobius would place her hand on a scanner nearby, immediately unlocking the door as she then spoke to someone inside.

"I'm coming in." She said, opening the door as the two followed in.

What Alex was greeted with was a fairly spacious lab with numerous items and tools sprawled across the place as one side had a chair and desk with numerous informational screens/holograms and the other side had what looked like a surgical table with one single light illuminating above it.

"Welcome back." Said a new voice that Alex heard as he looked ahead to see a figure approaching Mobius.

It was a very short female figure as she had similar colored eyes to Mobius as they were also a pink-greenish combination minus the snake like iris' as her right eye was covered by an eyepatch. The girl also had green wavy hair, some of which fell below her face reaching her shoulder as part of her hair also stood up and curled in a unique way.

On her head she had a horn-like headpiece which held itself in place along with a short, round tail that trailed behind her.

She wore a white, baggy lab coat with green highlights as on top of the lab coat was an additional piece of cloth, seemingly held in place by the triple-layered collar attachment found around her neck.

She also had a sash around her chest, adorned with a snake eye decoration that helps carry and hold her book as lastly, floating behind her was a strange double helix-shaped syringe.

"Thanks for waiting for me Klein." Said Mobius as the short girl nodded before looking at Alex.

"May I ask who this boy is doctor?" She asked.

"Hm? Oh, he's a new lab rat that I came across. He happens to be friends with the Herrscher girl. By the way boy, what's your name?" Asked Mobius.

"It's Alex."

"I see. Hmm...........I think calling you two lab rat will get rather combersome. I'll refer to you as my little guinea pig then."

"Just use my actual name!"

"Hush now guinea pig. Anyways, go place the box over on the table. Afterwards we'll have a little chat."

Mobius would walk over and sit at the desk as Alex sighed before walking over to the surgical table and placing the box down before walking back to the doctor.

"Alright done. What do you wanna talk about?" He asked.

"No not yet. Get on your knees and kneel underneath the desk. I recquire a stool while I'm working."

"WHAT!?"

"Did I stutter?"

"No but if this is some kind of punishment for the box then I already told you that I didn't steal it! I'm innocent!"

"Oh that isn't why. I already know it wasn't you?"

".............huh?"

"I'm already well aware of Felis' antics. I knew she nabbed some of my materials make a quick buck. I just figured she'd eventually get bored and hand it back with her tail tucked between her legs. Gotta say though, this outcome though unexpected was very worthwhile."

"If it isn't because of the box then why?"

"You saw the sign didn't you? Access is strictly forbidden here. You gotta pay the price for illegal entry."

"You brought me here!"

"Spare me the details and get down already."

Alex sighed but he knew better than to go against her word.

He'd begrudgingly do as told, getting down and crawling underneath the desk as he felt Mobius place her legs over his back as she gave a relaxed sigh.

"That's better. Alright, now we can talk." She said, beginning to type away at the computer. "When that Herrscher girl first appeared, I was very intrigued. A Herrscher who wasn't controlled by the Honkai's will and actively rebelled against their wishes was truly interesting but you however were felt different. I can sense Honkai energy emitting from you by two different points. First is your sword, and second is your body itself. Care to fill me in?" Asked Mobius.

"The sword was recently found in my time. Little is known aside from it being able to store and weaponize Honkai energy in the form of flames. Just now, I was told by Vill-V that I'm also able to utilize other forms of energy by having encountered other Herrschers."

"Ohh. You've fought Herrschers huh? Quiete impressive. What about your body? The energy it gives off reminds of that one cloaked girl who's always near Elysia."

"You mean Akame? That's because my condition is the same as hers. When I first utilized the sword's Honkai energy, it infected my left arm."

"I see. I figured that girl's condition was a rare one as most people infected during this time immediately turned into beasts. To think this could happen again................you really are an interesting specimen, my little guinea pig~." Said Mobius in her usual sinister tone, even adding a slightly teasing laugh to it.

"Please don't say it like that." Said the boy.

"Oh well. I've heard that you're trying to catch up to my lab rat correct? I'm intrigued to see you two's progress in the coming days. I hope I won't be disappointed."

Mobius would remove her legs off of Alex's back as the boy finally got back up and stretched.

"Is that all? Can I go now?" Asked Alex.

"Forgot to say please." She said.

".......................can I PLEASE go now?" Reiterated Alex, clearly having his patience worn thin.

"Hmm............sure, but you gotta do one last thing to apologize for your rudeness just now."

"And that is?"

Mobius' smirk widened as she playfully raised her leg up to him.

"Be a good guinea pig and kiss my foot~." She asked.

Alex immediately left without a word as he stormed out of the lab, as Mobius simply chuckled to herself before turning back to her desk.

'What a fun one he is. I can't wait for our next encounter~.'
