Author Theory regarding Judgment of Shamsh: At the Time I didn't know what Kevin was talking about when he Referred to Shamash as an Old friend, but when I read the Manga which explained the Downfall of the Old Civilization and the Old Civilization Himeko who worked with Kevin who later became the Herrscher of Fire, and after her "Death" Her Herrscher Core was Extracted to create the Wrath of Shamash God Key, and that she wasn't really dead her physical body may have been killed but the Herrscher core was what kept her alive.

And as Such I believe that the God Keys are more then Just mere weapons and Tools of the Old Civilization in their war Against the Honkai, they are more then just mere Simple objects they are Alive and I think that the Old Civilization Himeko is Still alive within Shamash and is Helping which Ever Kaslana holding her to fight against the Honkai.
