Heyyy so ermmm this is the story I like best out of all my stories, and it has a lot of potential. I just gotta figure out what plot works best for it, and the current one clearly doesn't. If you have any suggestions, tell me. Please. I have writer's block. I will also give credit. 😭

So, some personal history with Honeydew Academy:
Back in 7th grade, Candy (gonna call her that for her own privacy) came to Chieftan town (what I'm calling my town to protect my entire town's privacy). I saw her in the middle school library the morning she moved, and we instantly hit things off. Turns out, she also lived up the street from me which was hecking amazing.
We spent time watching movies and memes and singing meme songs. One day at her house, she put on Harry Potter, as it was her favorite movie, and said she wanted to make a story like it.
     We mostly spent time creating our OCs and their stories and appearance, their relationship, and what would all play out. We never really had a story plot, but we knew what was gonna happen. Spoiler alert, in that version Aryk became a normal human and Candy became queen of Elftopia and was loved and accepted by everyone. I still think Candy's path should happen, but I'm not to sure about Aryk--whom I modelled mostly after myself, except spunkier, braver, different hobbies (but still things I would like to do), and appearance.
     Candy left a few months after she arrived that spring, sometime in May. I haven't seen her since.
     Yes, we were young. She in 6th and I in 7th. But it was one of the truest, most fun, enjoyable, and 2 sided friendships, like it should be. I only have 2-3 others like that (irl of course--LOVE YOU MY ONLINE FRIENDS! It's just not the same as if you were here), and have had troubles with friendships since then with other people excluding the 3 close irl friends of mine.

Around or a little over 6th months later, I wanted to bring Honeydew Academy to Wattpad. I realized how much potential it had and how much I loved the characters that I couldn't let it die and had to keep the characters alive. Yes, it's hard without Candy, but I had to to keep the story of Aryk Kyra Lillian Marie Dwarvenburr Mahrose of house Dwarvenburr Muhrose (or just Aryk Dwarvenburr Muhrose or AKLMDMDM to shorten things) and Candy Francgrance Sparklington of Elftopia alive.
     In the spring of 2019, Candy's dad died. Candy and her mom and her sisters left him (I won't say why because that's her thing to tell not mine), and he must have had some personal issues on top of that because he committed suicide in his backyard. If Candy wishes to tell why and how she may because that's her "dad", but I have no right to.
     I decided then that I had to do something to reach Candy, whatever I could think of. So I made a makeup account on Instagram called Honeydew Academy, putting Aryk's name for the name and the picture Candy drew of Aryk for the profile pic. It is my hope that Candy comes across it one day and we can meet again. I also decided that I would continue writing this when I found it pointless to reach her, too, when I had no motivation left.

Maybe I'll write Honeydew Academy when I graduate Highschool and my journey is done, incorporating my expiriences and highschool journey to write the novel. Maybe I'll write an 8th grade year, a 9th grade year, 10th year, 11th year, and 12th/senior year. I would start now but I don't know the outcome of my highschool, and what plot I create out of my expiriences. All I can do is pray that it is worthy of Candy and Aryk and all of Honeydew Academy.

Candy, wherever you are in the world right now, know I will always be here. Dare I still call you my best friend, but I hope your out there, wishing the same as I. We never "fell out", so who's to say we aren't?
     I'm so very sorry if you waited for me to Gmail you, but I didn't soon enough. I was a coward and lost hope. I understand if you never forgive me. But please, let us try again. I miss you, Lauren. You're Candy who's right next to Aryk, her best friend til the end.
