Avu- I am ready

Avu said while jumping from don't know where. Sid who was waiting for his food to be served turned towards her and found her grinning ear to ear.

Sid- how much she yells ?

He whispered while taking a glance of her who was now wearing a formal dress. She straightened herself when she noticed him looking at her and tried to copy his posture which he always maintains with him.

Avu- ahm

She cleared her throat, trying to maintain as much neutral expression on her face as much she can.

Avu- so how am I looking ?

She asked, getting exited again. The workers smiled passing her a thumbs up but she was waiting for him to react.

Sid- nice

He said blankly but it broke a smile on her face and she jumped in excitement ranting thankyou. She is now getting habituated to his behaviour and she even know that he could have just ignored it but he didn't did it now.

Then she sat on her usual spot and started having her breakfast. She was gulping water when she caught Sid staring at her with a weird look.

Avu- anything wrong ?

She asked raising her eyebrows and then glanced at herself to check whether everything is okay or not ?

Sid- why are you wearing this ?

Avu- this.. what ?

She again glanced at herself but didn't understood what was he pointing.

Sid- same colour attire

He said calmly but his tone was demanding and Avu made an O face.

Avu- uff Mr. Nigam it's called twinnig.

She said in a bored tone.

Sid- I know that

He rolled his eyes and she sighed.

Avu- let me explain, it's that I working on behalf of you so itna impression dena to banta hai n

Sid stared at her blankly with a look Is she real?

She said getting irritated like a child and Sid decided to not expand this topic further.

After that finishing breakfast, they walked outside the mansion. Avu stubbornly took Sid's blazer from him which he was going to carry in his arms.

Due to the arm pain of Sid, the driver drove the car. SidNeet sat on the back seat, Avu was busy admiring the view. She was feeling both exited and nervous. While Sid was reading emails on laptop which was kept on the car's desk as Avu strictly restricted him to use mobile.

Avu- Mr. Nigam, how much more time ?

She asked excitedly and Sid took a glance of her from the corner of his eyes.

Sid- it's not the first time you are going to Nigam Enterprises

He replied in a duhh tone and she pouted grumpily.

Avu- but I am very bad at remembering way and all. And also I forget everything in exitement. And that day I was so excited to meet y..

She stopped realising what was she going to say. Sid's head snapped in her direction and he questioned her through his eyes and she smiled nervously.

Avu pov
Fuck off Neet. Really you are an idiot who can't control her exitement.

Sid- you were saying something, so complete it.

Inhe bhi janne ki itni kya bechaini hai ?

But before she could open her mouth, her body flung towards the front seat because the car ran over a speed breaker.

Avu- mumma

She screamed but before her head could hit with the front seat, Sid kept his hand in between preventing her to get hurt. She sighs pulling herself back on her previous place.

Avu- thankyou so much Mr. Nigam

She said with a smile on which he hummed.

Avu- hey, but are you okay ?

She asked being a little panicked and concerned for sure. She took his hand in hers and scanned it through her eyes. Sid shook his head in disbelief on her antics.

Sid- I didn't lay my hand on any knife

Avu- I know but.. leave it I can't explain you

And ignoring him, she just made herself sure that his hand is completely fine.

Sid- kiddo

He muttered under his breath and Avu narrowed her eyes.

Avu- I heard that

She avowed but Sid didn't replied anything.

Just like those messages which people will leave seen but won't reply.

She rolled her eyes on her own thoughts. She was still holding his hands, the moment she took his hands in hers he again felt sparks.

Sid- are you planning to hold my hand for lifetime ?

He asked, this time turning his head completely towards her.

Avu- is it wrong ?

She said gazing directly into his hazel eyes. He felt losing himself in the deep gaze of those chocolate pools, whom he found beautiful. While she had already started drowning into the hazel honey pools.

The driver who was a shipper of his boss and lady boss remained busy with his work, completely acted like he don't even exist there. He being the loyal one don't even tried to sneek into their privacy.

They broke their eyelock after the driver applied the breaks. "We are here, sir." said the driver gazing at the wall of the parking lot. Both SidNeet turned their heads and got out of the car. Avu took a deep breath before going towards Sid who was waiting for her at the entrance of parking lot.

ScM- omg! What was that ?

Avu- don't divert my mind now.

ScM- huh! Apni to koi ijjat hi nahi hai.
(huhh! I don't have any respect.)

Avu- I agree and now shut up.

SidNeet entered inside the office together. On the way, she was glancing at him secretly. He too noticed it but decided not to react so that the things don't get awkward.

Riy- good morning Mr. Nigam, good morning Mrs. Nigam

Riyaz greeted with a polite smile, suppressing his chuckle while seeing Avu glaring at him.

Sid- morning

Sid replied with his expressionless face meanwhile Avu was still shooting glares over Riyaz.

Avu- good morning Mr. Chhipkali (lizard)

Avu said with a sugar coated smile which dropped Riyaz's smile.

Riy- mam, it's Aly

He corrected with a nervous smile.

Avu- but I liked Chhipkali (lizard) more

She poked her tongue and Riyaz sighed in defeat.

Sid- let's go

Sid said while walking inside, Riyaz and Avu came back into a formal posture and walked behind him.

Then Sid gestured Riyaz through his eyes and he nodded.

Riy- attention everyone

Riyaz said dragging the attention of the employees and everyone came towards them.

Riy- so everyone, the doctor have advised Mr. Nigam not to pressurise his arms for atleast a week so until that Ms. Kaur will handle his work

Riyaz said picking up the most suitable words and no tint of mistake. The employees eyes moved towards Avu after Riyaz mentioned about her. She took a deep breath to calm her nervousness usder so many gazes and twitched her lips into a smile.

Avu was unfamiliar for many of them. But the very few who have seen her the last time she came in the office, the same day when she air kissed on Sid's cheek which looked like a kiss, recognised her.

Sid- until she is working on the place of me she is your boss. Think her as the another Nigam from now.

Sid was very clear with his every words and everyone nodded in response. Though he isn't any hitler with his employees but his all time neutral expression really scares them.

Avu- good morning everyone, hope it would be nice to work with you. And..

She paused and scanned the surrounding with her eyes.

Avu- and I won't bore you guys with any speech.

She said with a slight chuckle which made the others chuckle too.

Kiddo was the first thing which came in Sid's mind.

Sid- back to work everyone

Sid ordered in casual tone but it was enough to make everyone's legs back to their work.
Avu quickly followed Sid who have already started going towards his cabin.

Huhh! How fast this big giant walk.

ScM- heyy lost love sick puppy..ups..I mean your Mr. Nigam's lost love sick bandariya. Uff..

Avu- what are you blabbering ? But it's cute.

ScM- oye hoye, you find it cute when him yours

Avu- umm.. it's no..tt lik.ke th..hat (it's not like that)

ScM- well.. puppy..I mean Mr. Robo's bandariya, did you noticed something ?

Avu- what ?

ScM- He asked everyone to think you as the another Nigam 'from now'.

Avu- so what ?

ScM- he could have said 'for now' or 'until I get well'.

Avu's head snapped towards Sid whose back was facing her.

I didn't noticed it before.

Sid stopped and opened his cabin's door.

Sid- now focus on work instead of my back

He said and entered inside without looking at her. Her legs stopped on it's place, her eyes still fixed at him, aghast.

How do he know ?

ScM- you know something is called 'connection'

Avu- shut up.

Sid- will you come inside or you have planned to be the gatekeeper ?

Avu frowned on his comment and came inside.

Both took a seat beside each other and begun with the work. Sid who have been workaholic since ever or should say since childhood, always have extra work than others.

They continuously worked for few hours. It wasn't a big deal for Sid as he was habituated to it since long but Avu was new to it. It was tiring to sit at one place for hours with your eyes stucked on either piece of papers or the screen.

Sid- you can take a break now

Avu twitched her head towards him with questioning look Are you sure?

Sid- it's not the break time so canteen must be empty. You can go there or order something right here.

He explained, his eyes never left the file page which he was reading.

So this break only for me.

Before she could bit back her smile, her lips twitched upwards unconsciously.

Avu- I have chips packet with me

She said while rubbing her palms excitedly. She then went towards the couch and opened her backpack which was later delivered by a staff. While Sid sliced some apples.

She then came back on her seat and opened the packet and within a minute it was finished. Sid looked at her with Was she so much hungry ? She was about to pick another packet but Sid picked it up before.

Avu- hey.. hey cat, give my packet back to me.

She quirked and treid to take the packet from him. Sid rolled his eyes and kept his index finger on her forehead, pushing her back on her place.

Sid- if you want to work for long so you should eat healthy things instead of junk

This robot's taunting features are really so modified.

Sid pushed the plate of apple pieces towards her and she pouted grumpily. Sid gestured her through his eyes and she sighed.

Avu- fine

She said taking a bite of it. Yummy she thought while munching on the sweet juicy apple. Avu then glanced at Sid who was again busy in his work.

Yaar, ye aadmi kabhi thakta nahi hai kya ?
(Dude, doesn't this guy ever get tired?)

Avu- Mr. Nigam

Sid- hnnm

He hummed turning towards her.

Avu- do you want some ?

She asked while lifting a piece in her hand.

Sid- no, I am f...

But before he could complete, she pushed the appple in his mouth.

Avu- khaiye khaieye.. sharmaie nahi
(eat eat.. don't be shy)

She grinned widely and Sid huffed knowing he won't win if he protested with her. So Avu finished it while eventually feeding him too.

After they again got engrossed in work. And like that their day spent, maybe busy in working but with each other's company, with few sudden eyelocks and few moments.
